Yeah you’re right I just did it, it doesn’t sound bad but sounds like a old muscle car and raspy

Only have the front 2 sensors I had the tuner tune the rear ones out so I wouldn't have a check engine ight.

The part number is 25-1037 on the headers.

@tombright2213 Thanks You Sir , for the help. I think I found the 3" true duals exhaust kit on Speed Engineering and the headers. Sir, do you have the part # for the Corsa mufflers you changed to? Just purchased the 2017 4x4 chevy suburban last month. It has 79,000 miles on it, and i'm thinking about purchasing, used 6.2 with LT4 for supercharger and transplanting it in my New Suburban.. Yes longtube headers no cats equal length mid pipes into a X pipe then into 2 resonators then 2 corsa mufflers. It's all 3 inch true duals

No problem I was curious myself and couldn't find any videos so I took it upon myself to just do the exhaust and see what happens. Latest videos have the corsa mufflers and was the sound I was looking for.

Yeah I was looking at that video as well… so you have the corsas plus the mufflers from speed engineering correct?

Also noticed on another comment you put that the exhaust has to be equal before the x pipe? So it could sound like a vette/camaro? Or is it as long as they are equal by the time they reach the end? I was thinking of grabbing a tape measure and trying of getting them just equal length. Lastly did you do 2.5” or 3” sorry for all the questions.

@CastroLTZ71 it has to be equal length before the X pipe I used the Karnage exhaust equlizer tube on the passenger side to add the lenght. The exhaust is 3" from the long tubes all the way out the back.

No sir the speed engineering long tubes fit very well with no modification needed.

Yes if it's not equal length before the X pipe it will still sound like a truck the reason for the equal length exhaust is to make more of a camaro/vette sound.

Can you shoot me the part number of the corsa mufflers and did you mig weld it all up yourself? Was it cost effective to buy the true dual Speed engineering kit and hack it up or should you just begin with a mandrel bent exhaust kit with some x pipes?

@spencerhamilton8171 The mufflers are CP300SS they were 350.00 each. I also had to add a Karnage Exhaust equlizer tube to the passenger side out of the header before the X pipe. I've done so much changing on the Exhaust that nothing was really cost effective lol. I had to end up using the mufflers from the speed engineering axel dump kit after the X pipe and before the Corsas to kill the raspy sound.

@@tombright2213did you notice any issue’s with the torque lost running 3” pipe?

Thanks. It's a 4/7 drop from Trekline Motorsports. It's drop spindles and dropped struts tubular upper control arms for alignment and the rear is a flip kit with helper bags then I bought a airlift wireless one compressor with remote. Wheels are 24x9 with 275/35 front and rear are 24x10 with 295/35. Thanks for watching

@wAiEr1009 I have the same set up with speed engineering mufflers in front of a set of Corsa mufflers true duals all the way out behind passenger rear tire

Thanks man it's been a lot of trial and error but I'm finally satisfied with the sound of it. Now only thing is to do a cam swap.

I used the speed engineering true dual exhaust kit with the x pipe i added the Karnage Exhaust Equalizer tube to the passenger side before the x pipe to get a equal length. the truck is 4wd so all the exhaust is ran on the passenger side.

Also is it a 5.3?

The only thing I added to the Speed Engineering true dual exhaust with x pipe is a equlizer tube from Karnage exhaust but I don't know how long the loop is

@pucegtr I actually bought both I used the mufflers from the axel dump kit infront of the corsa mufflers then used the tail pipes from the other kit. To get the same sound you also need a Equlizer tube from Karnage exhaust and add it to the passenger side after the header but before the X pipe. The Corsas I used were CP300SS they were 349.00 each. I spent a lot of time and money to get it this way lol.

Thanks but I have since changed the exhaust setup and added corsa mufflers check out my newest videos of it. This winter I plan on doing a afm/dod delete cam swap. Truck only has 34,000 miles on it I bought it new in 18. Thanks for watching

They are the Corsa mufflers part number CP300SS.

That's awesome I will tell you that with long tube headers and no cats the Corsa mufflers are loud and raspy I had to put speed engineering mufflers in front of the Corsas to tone it down. I talked to Corsa about it and they said the mufflers are more like the extremes. Good luck with the exhaust post a video when you get it complete.

@jarrettbickel1998 I understand that the drone was awful with the speed engineering muffler set up but once I put the Corsas with the speed engineering axel dump mufflers as resonators it still has a little drone but it is a lot better. You can actually have a conversation in the truck. Lol

Extremely it was a PIA to accomplish

I used Speed Engineering longtube headers and their true dual exhaust system with x pipe then added a Karnage Exhaust equlizer tube to the passenger side pipe as it came out of the header to make it equal length before the X pipe.

Honestly it's awful at 15 to 1800 rpm. I'm gonna order Corsa sport mufflers hopefully it will fix the drone.

@@tombright2213 Only J pipes or a ridiculous amount of muffling will fix it. And/or cats.

@Drunken_Hamster I actually got it fixed. I used the speed engineering mufflers in front of the Corsa mufflers and fixed it and sounds great.

It to make the passenger side exhaust equal length to drivers side to make it sound more like a vette or camaro

@motozach only thing is I had speed engineering long tubes with the y pipe then ordered the true dual with the x pipe. I had to cut the y pipe into several pieces and fit them to go through the Equlizer tube. If you are gonna do dual exhaust make sure you put a x pipe in as far forward after the Equlizer tube as possible. This video is with the axel dump system I will say it drones pretty bad. I have another video with the full axel back with tailpipes and while it is quiet while cruising with minimal drone when you get on it that's a different story it has that vette tone. Hope this helps ya

@@tombright2213 ah I didn’t even think about the issue with the Y pipe! I’ll need to cut and try to spread the y pipe ends apart to get the equalizer tube to slide on. I’ll let you know how it turns out 🍻

Check out my other video that says axel dump I recorded the setup under the truck. But I used a Equlizer tube from Karnage exhaust. It was a lot of cutting and piecing pipe together but it's true 3" dual exhaust with a x pipe as well.

Yes. This video is with the axel dump I made another video with there larger mufflers and tail pipes. The axel dump was really loud and droned bad. I got the loop from Karnage Exhaust they call it a equlizer tube.

True. A cam with dod/afm delete is next on the list. I bought the truck new in 18 and it only has 31,000 miles.

@Tom Bright that's gonna be sick. I have 2013 Ram 1500 with a 5.7, I'm planning on doing an equal length exhaust, headers, and a cam. I'm probably going to do a custom x-pipe like a challenger has, but I will have to accommodate for the fuel tank.
