We're selling our home on the Etowah River in Cartersville Georgia as of March 2024!
Hey everyone, I've been slow to post lately. I have some footage of clearing out the house and now it's up for sale. I'll announce where we are going in an upcoming video. For now, here's our existing headquarters at 46 Stable Gate Dr.; Cartersville, Georgia 30120 going up for grabs! We love this location on the outskirts of town and the privacy we have in the county while still having friends in a neighborhood. The kayaking has been bountiful and the memories we'll leave behind are fantastic. Here's the listing footage!

Taking the Mud Boat and the Jet Boat out for a Shallow Adventure
I’m so glad I found this video! I just got my very first golf cart and it’s just like this one
I just got the exact same cart. I got up to 25mph on flat ground with me, my wife and 2 kids, 29 going down hill and I could feel the gov kicking in. I did touch 30mph but just for a second
Ha! Well, at least you're started off that fast. :-) I wish they had a little more power. I'd like to hit 35 with it but I don't want to start screwing with the motor. I did just add the front basket accessory to mine a couple weeks ago. The thing is so handy! I screwed some fishing pole holders to it so the kids can now put their tackle boxes and pulls in there and go fishing or we take it to the neighborhood pool and have a place to throw towels and crap. If I had it to do over, I would have added the basket a long time ago. I hope you enjoy your machine!
@@ItAintEz I read on a facebook post where people change the gear ration in order to get more speed but I haven’t researched it though
@@30secondswithDan If you ever attempt something like that, please share the results! P.S., great RUclips name!
@@ItAintEz ruclips.net/video/OVveCZupObU/видео.htmlfeature=shared seems like a lot of work but might be worth it. I don’t wanna do anything to mine yet because I don’t wanna void warranty
@@30secondswithDan I agree that is a lot to take on. I like the idea of going that route but that's more than I would want to get into. Thank you for sharing that link!
I think they come stock at 17mph and having that adjustment can rish overheating the engine
You need to check your valves if it has 200 hours on it chances are the are way out of spec.
That's a great idea, you're the first one to mention that one. I've sold the boat so I can't do that any longer but any guidance on how someone would go about that?
Trim your motor to your prop is 1/2 way out water
Greese that lower prop is spinning too fast
Great feedback!! I made another video for maintenance and I replaced the greese in there. That did make a difference over just add a couple of pumps.
I have a 170 37HP stock 3 blade 29-34 4300 rpm trimmed right with stock 2 blade 28-30 4800 trimmed correctly. Loaded/Empty. Make it easier every couple trims take proper of and I use a cordless Rigid impact gun don’t even need to hold prop nut comes off. It’s all about weight distribution and finding the sweet spot. I don’t think that prop will make a huge difference as it is designed for mods and more blade on water will be less rpm’s.check you tach if your not above 4100 rpm’s at least your not getting the performance you need
I think that was the stock prop. That sucker was seized! We got it though. I wish I had an impact gun to try!! I ended up getting a top end boost out of it. It's not fast but does the job I need/needed. I sold it though and moved to Florida!
Quiero comprar un motor como ese en argentina no existe me pude ayudar a comunicarme con algún fabricante . Muchas gracias

Friendly tip on boat ramp etiquette here: There is a staging area for prepping the boat for your trip, that's not something you should be doing in the ramp. It seemed like it was not busy at the time so no harm no foul but that'll be an issue at a busy ramp.
Something isnt right there. My ancient 35 cdi marine and way too big xpress 18/52 (maybe 54 I dont recall at the moment) runs 25 with me and a buddy on a stock gtr 3 blade that hasn't been worked and is eaten up from hard bottom mud last duck season and mine is slow. That motor should be running at least that on the stock two blade or more given the 37 efi is actually a much higher hp as mine is truly 31 ish hp at the prop. ETA: does the skeg on the lower unit need to be bent some? I'd get that looked at and try to get Baggy Prop to pitch that new prop and that pitch work alone will give a couple mph difference.
I have a mudrunner 180 with a stock gtr40xd and i get 28mph with a fresh big blade prop and a fishing load.
That sounds right, with a 37, 80 lb of battery, no anchor or trolling motor, I was getting 27 mph with the Merc Rapid prop. I ended up selling the boat as I move out of state but I will get another!
@ItAintEz i have 3 batteries a minnkota ultrex and 2 10 inch garmin graphs. If im by myself i get 28-29mph. With another person i can hold a steady 27
@@hunterandraschko5324 Yeah, that's a great setup and holding a good speed! Thank you for sharing!
So, what do think of your boat so far? Wanna sell that GTR mudmotor and get an outboard? Everyone has their starting point getting a boat, and your experience is no different than others. You’ll learn from your mistakes and get better in the future. Thanks for the video.👍
I really enjoyed it! I sold the boat and motor over the winter. I'm moving out of state but I look forward to my next boat!
really nice boat
Remove seats and air box access panel, and bed makes it easier to wash
22 mph doesn’t seem fast enough, I mean my Go-Devil 35hp SD that the haul alone was 680 pounds plus the 2 batteries trolling motor and a 6 gallon gas tank also 2 people got 28 mph and 30-31 with 1 person that’s with the stock prop.
Yea u aint got that thing trimmed right or sum🤣🤣🤦🏻♂️
It ended up being weight in the boat. I had an idea to do a video later on and remove as much weight as possible because I had so many accessories in there. Anyways, it made a huge difference! Thanks for watching!
What the hell was the guy on the jet boat doing?
ROFL, anything he wants! Lol I'm going to buy a jet boat next. A little bit bigger than one of those but those jet boats are amazing.
Is your boat still forsale ?
No, I sold it in January. She was finally dialed in too!
If u ever wanna sell Tht boat let me know
I just sold it 2 weeks ago. I miss it already!
Brilliant, Paul Yorkshire.
Nice boat 👍
Thank you! I loved that boat! I am moving out of state so I just sold it. Once I get settled, time to buy another one!
my goodness i could not watch much of this you were doing so much wrong in the first few minutes it was brutal
I appreciate you watching. Feel free to add any comments of what can be done differently or better. You can help me learn or others that watch this in the future. Thanks!
Shooot, I use my trolling motor to retrieve decoys :)
Nice! My 200 amp hours of batteries is a little overkill but that's how I roll!
That machine looks like it has way more than 16 hours on it. More like 5000. Rough shape
Right? That's crazy It all blew out so quickly. Definitely a defect. I really got to make an updated video for this one. I'll get around to it. There was more carnage I didn't realize but more to come on that.
I assume there must have been a defect...
Only 16 hours?! Looks like that thing was pulled out from the ocean 😂
Yeah that was fabulous! I keep meaning to post an updated video but I haven't. Maybe I'll get to that over the holiday break. Essentially, Polaris took care of me but I was down a machine for months. Got it back, took it on a couple trips, only to find out the front diff was destroyed as well. Polaris took care of me again but that was another couple of months without a machine.
Sweet
You look like you running where it need to be
Thanks for the feedback! I think this testing shows that the performance is directly related to the weight. I'm pretty happy that I can set it up for duck hunting and get 27 mph and then load it down for fishing and still get 22 mph +. The skeg isn't adjusted for the prop so I think there is some tweaking that can make a little difference but I am comfortable with this as-is. Thank you for watching!
your riding a PRO R really? is this a joke video
With a shattered front dif, yes.
Which cabin is that? Thanks for the videos!
They have a stretch of new cabins. There may have been 6 of them that are all the same stretch and then a mansion cabin at the end. They are nice! If you were headed from the campgrounds to that pro shop and where the trail entrances are, it's the last gravel road on your left before you get to where it opens up with the pro shop area and all that.
@@ItAintEz thanks! Are these part of the windrock owned cabins?

Gatortail recommended 2.5 quarts for oil and filter change
Does it? Thanks for finding that! I did two quarts as you likely noticed so I will move it to the road or another flat surface and check again! Thank you!
Man this is painful to watch. My buddy put a 40GTR on an 18ft beavertail and it'll fly to 26mph with 3 guys and fishing gear. Something isn't right on your boat. Even my 17' 23LT does 17-18mph. You spend big money on the SD's so you can go fast.
This might help explain the speed: ruclips.net/video/2DtR5u4_Uis/видео.html
If I had known and had the time I would’ve went
Right? My video sucked as my kids were not in the mood for much filming. That place is great though and I need to go back! It is so much fun, especially on the tracks! I never think to send a notification before I go somewhere. I do a lot of things last minute but you gave me a great idea to plan a trip and announce it in advance! I hope to catch you on the trails! Thanks for watching another one of my videos!
I run the same prop on my stock 40 at 4800 rpms and bump 34. Your motor sounds wayyyy to trimmed down. If your rooster tail ain’t 5-6ft in the air it ain’t right.
I think I have around 200 hours on that motor, maybe more. I don't have a tachometer or any instruments to tell me how it's performing. I just grab the throttle and go. I wonder if I need a tune or if there is something I can do other than the exhaust it has. Essentially, I'm wondering if my motor has untapped potential.
I thought he was never gonna get the box open.😢
@@bobbellow5502 🤣😂
It does throw a rooster tail. Not extremely high or anything. I don't think It's hard to remember. Maybe just a couple feet.
You want it throwing about a 5 foot roost off the back. Basically put the nut half in the water half out. I have an 1860 gt extreme pushes me 31 empty and 27 loaded. What rpms is your motor running at wide open throttle?
@@tholla92 I've sold the boat and I'm moving out of state. I did catch RPMs in another video but I can't remember now! I will be getting another boat when I get settled but not sure if I will go mud motor again or not.

Weere you able to find new tires for the rims? I have a set of speedline jjd system rims on my Mercedes but need new tires
That's awesome that you have a set of twins! In the article that is linked in my description, it shows a Mercedes with twin tires. I would love to see your setup! The article has a link to Continental tires that are suppose to fit here: www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Continental&tireModel=sContact&partnum=29MR6SCON&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes I haven't purchased those Continentals so I can't speak to the quality/fit. There are some tires out there still. My rims are sitting in the backyard under a tarp with the rubber smoked off and wires sticking out. I figured if I got enough views to be monetized, I would put dirt bike tires on the rims to have some fun with. Sadly, it seems that there aren't as many fanboys of these rims like me.
Thank you I saw those as well but I know they are spare tires so need to figure out if ca be actually driven on them for years etc. Not sure how to post a pic of mine on here@@ItAintEz
@@ForesteFamily I bet they can be. But that's also the beauty of twin tires, you get so much support from having two, you get a lot more sidewall strength. I guess the question is the rotational strength. If they are only rated for 55 mph for example, then it's probably too sketchy to pursue. Dang it, on the pics. I don't know how either. :(
They do not bring a clutch cover gasket And water leaks in. I wonder if there are any after market sealed clutch covers
Great question! I don't know. Since warranty covered mine, everything went back as stock. Thank goodness too is that was an expensive repair! If there's a gasket or something I can do to help the longevity, I'm all ears!
Didn’t feel it slipping?
Not in particular. In the moments leading up to it's demise, I was racing my buddy's X3 across an open grass field. He was winning so that should have been my first clue. :) We did it a couple times and when I lined up beside him for another run, I mashed the gas pedal lunged forward and it just blew. So it was probably slipping a bit here and there and I didn't pick up on it until it just all blew at once.
the rapid prop is slower then my big blade and hammer at 4500 rpms
I get the best top speed and load carrying with a hammer prop on my boss drives and mud runner, but with my other boat that is a Alumacraft and a beavertail 35 SD a big blade is my best prop
Will you send me a link to that big blade prop? That sounds like the way to go.
Hey, I’m just curious where do you have your prop? It should be cutting half the water surface or at least a quarter of the prop should be out of the water you’ll probably get a better TopSpeed that way.
That's a great question and information. I have never actually paid attention to where the prop is sitting in the water. I just trim the motor up and down in small increments until I get the highest speed out of it. This makes me wonder if the motor needs to be mounted higher or lower to have an even plane with the prop. Next time I take it out, I'm going to pay more attention to where the prop sits and the angle of it.
your prop should look like the one in this video at the beginning ruclips.net/video/I3gsgKyt2aY/видео.htmlsi=8B41wLi_RAPcNzw5 @@ItAintEz

Dude, you absolutely must get some live bait.
Good call, I'll bring shiners next time. Since I've filmed this, I had a guy that was renting my boat and he used crawfish for bait. He said he uses them all the time but I've never seen anybody use crawfish for bait. I may give that a whirl too.

@@allynsmith5026 I'll have to try cast netting for some. I haven't tossed a cast net in years!! I'm near Allatoona in Cartersville. I usually go in near the LakePoint side of it.
@@ItAintEz oh man, I hear you about the cast net. Use a smaller one and still can't make a good throw consistently. I wouldn't take anything but shad for bait, unless you're targeting crappie. Then small minnows are good, but for bass, hybrids, white bass, stripers, catfish, your best bet is shad.
