How I edit my videos! (Dehancer Final Cut Pro Tutorial)
I think there are 3 words that people don't understand properly. They are professional, amateur, and commercial. A professional is an approach and way of dealing with people. Commercial photographers get paid for their photography. An amateur takes photographs of what they love or for the love of photography.. The quality of the image is independent of any of these. I've met many commercial photographers that take terrible meaningless photos. I've also met lots of amateurs that take great images.
Nice Makeup und Prop-Idears (e.g. the butterfly). To me I would have preferred a classical beauty light without any shadows for this kind of pictures. Are you really ok with the hard light and strong, crisp shadows as can be seen at 7:14min for example? I have the impression that the white balance is not consistent among the shown pictures. However, I did not check picture by picture. Only an impression. I like the idea of the photos, however the face looks so distant and not-involved. This makes the photos unpersonal and feeling not-connected. The low shooting angle of ALL the pictured does not help here. Of course, it looks ridiculous shooting the "WAIST FINDER" of the Hassy CM500 standing on an apple box (=elevated standpoint), however I am pretty sure this would make the pictures feeling more connected. I liked the green paper background in the beginning of the video very much.
Is it possible to use the 0.5 lens with these filters?
Very nice portraits, impressive shots and great colors! Especially the first setup with green backdrop.
Thank you so much for your kind words Daniel!
I wish I had known about this before I started buying cutting mats and rotary cutters
@@counterfit5 this is definitely a big help!!
Excellent video. Easily the most infomative one I found. Thx!
thank you so much Filbert, glad I was able to help, appreciate your support!
What would you recommend buying? I have a hasselblad 500c light meter on my phone, but it doesn't work very well. I take photos without flash only outdoors in natural light
@@Gorro777 there are a ton of options out there these days. If you’re looking for a simple reflective meter this is an option. If you’re looking for an incident light meter I’d suggest the REVENI LABS INCIDENT METER, which I’ll be releasing a full review on soon. Of course many other manufacturers make light metres like Doomo Made which I also like and use along with Sekonic. If you narrow down your feature set wish list i think it might help you make a decision. (i.e. do you need usb-c charging or is micro usb okay or do you want user replaceable batteries (AA or AAA)? Do you need backlight illumination to use in low light or night? Do you need weather sealing for use in rainy environments?) These are just some questions i’d ask myself to help narrow down my options. Sorry if this wasn’t a straightforward answer but I think there are more questions left to help you better narrow down your choices.
@@ishkhanghazarian Shnorhakalutyun
May I ask what filter are you using to achieve this terrific effect?
How do you go about dialing in the exposure with the Reflx Lab? Would that adapter just trigger the flash with no TTL capabilities?
The reflex lab had a guid chart in the back, it has 2 power settings, you would just match your aperture base on the iso and distance scale.
I used an F3 from 1982 until I went to digital in 2003. I loved that camera. Its weakest link was the flash sync speed of 1/80 which was usually too slow for fill flash outside with Tri-X (ISO 400). Had Nikon made an F3 with 1/250 sync (like in the FE2/FM2's and F4) then it would have been the perfect non AF camera of all time. I guess that the hot shoe position was also bad. It insured that either vertically or horizontally you'd get side shadow on the subject if you used direct flash, which to this day is a sign to me that an amateur took the shot! I used a Metz CT-1 and would hold it above the camera to avoid that problem. Still, a great camera.
Your content and energy is great!
@@herbertmasing I really appreciate it thank you so much!!
Amazing video 🙌🏾👏🏽
@@Freestyleerr10 thank you so much!!!
Super thorough as usual!! 👍👍
Ahh I really appreciate it!! 😊
Tried it; hated it. WAAAY to fiddly and the lack of a lens makes it impossible to ACCURATELY determine what you are spot metering. Buy an old pentax/minolta, etc if you need a spotmeter that actually works as a SPOTmeter. Or, if you like a lot of additional (not, IMO necessary/usable) capability, a new Sekonic with spot capability.
@@buskman3286 This isn’t a spot meter if that’s what you’re looking for, it’s a general use reflective meter. That being said Reveni Labs makes dedicated spot meter with a lens and they also make a full size light meter.
hi, is the mount also included?
@@Gorro777 the Hasselblad mount is separate, you can also get different style mounts. The one build into the light meter is a standard cold shoe.
I have this flash and am using it with the X PRO II. The instructions in the manual for pairing with the flash controller didn’t work. After many hours of trying and going step by step doing exactly what was in the manual, I gave up and experimented with a manual setup. I have 2 other Godox flashes, so everything has to work together. I eventually got the Lux Master paired and then manually paired my other 2 flashes, so I have a 3 flash system. I am of the vintage where I grew up with potato mashers. The advantage with them is that they had quick connection to the bracket and you could disconnect just by pressing a button, or connect just by clipping it back on. Great video, it is great to see more Canadians on RUclips.
Thank you so much for your support David! Sorry you had trouble with getting it paired, but I’m glad it all worked out in he end. Hope you enjoy this new setup you have!

Great video! What model Tilta grip is that? Looks very useful!
Thank you Gary, this is the Tilta Left Side Wooden Handle type IV. Great little addition to the kit, attached to a standard L bracket
@@ishkhanghazarian thank you!
I LOVE this design! It's definitely my next purchase to build out a versatile travel kit. Thank you so much for this in depth review! Really cool!
Hey Johnny, appreciate your kind words! It’s such a cool flash, and I believe they have some more light modifiers, soft box, light dome coming out for the Lux Master as well, so it’ll definitely be a great tool to add to your travel kit!
Okay, I am 2 videos in from this channel, and already, there are 2 things I need: the H-Mount cold shoe for my Hasselblad 503cx. I also need a flash. This one has the "right" aesthetics, I think to match the Nikon Zf. What do people here think? Would this flash and trigger look beautiful, as a complement to the Nikon Zf? That said, the Nikon Zf, is a walk-around camera, coupled with small lenses. Adding a flash might make it even less of a walk-around thing. Oh, decisions, decisions!
hahah I love to hear that 🤭 I love the Lux Master, but if you’re already considering buying the Lux Cadet for your Hasselblad it can be used with both cameras and will be compact. That being said the Lux Master has the ability to be shot in full TTl with the Nikon Trigger attached to your ZF so that maybe something to consider if you’d like to use it that way. You also have the option to work with it off camera if you choose. Definitely lots to consider!!
@@ishkhanghazarian Yes, perhaps too much to consider. Thanks for the kind reply.
Hahahahaha! Nice. I want that H-Mount accessory for my Hasselblad 503cx. That flash looks "in keeping" too. Do we get a discount for buying more than 1 items?
I believe the H-Mount is currently on sale of the website. The Godox flash is sold separately because it’s not manufactured by them, but fairly good prices can be found online, or at your local camera store.
@@ishkhanghazarian Thank you Ishkhan. I was thinking about the H-Mount along with a light meter. I have made the order now. I should take delivery of the 2 H-mount accessory and Lightmeter, in the coming week. thanks again.
@@---us7qf no problem, anytime! Happy shooting!! ✨
@@ishkhanghazarian now, I just need a hood for the 80mm lens, and 1 for my other lens: 50mm f/4. In the next week, whilst off from work, I can scour the Interwebs for these last pieces. Then, I'll be all set.
I need that H-Mount. And of course the Flash.
it’s a great combo!!
Useful video, thanks!

Really cool - nice little video
thank you so much!
Sounds interesting
it’s a cool little thing!!
nice review. By the way, what brand is your tripode? thank you
Hi there, it’s the Leofoto Wings of God tripod, I have a full review on my channel as well as a 12% Off Promo Code: “ISHKHANGHAZARIAN”
I have a Flashpoint R2 SP Single Pin Transceiver, it triggers Godox flashes. It’s safe for film cameras. You can take test shots on a digital camera, leave the settings the same on the film camera and flash, and you can have it trigger on the same channel. It works pretty good. Ie both cameras can trigger the flashes, without problems, and voltage is safe for film cameras on the R2 SP.
Hi John thank you much for the insight, I’ll definitely take a look into the R2 Transceiver!
@@ishkhanghazarian Trys this video for better explanation "Remotely fire godox/flashpoint lights from MULTIPLE camera triggers"
Woooo
such a sick little light!!
Great review! Sounds like I just picked one up for myself.
that's so great to hear Nelson! You'll definitely like it, by far my favourite tripod!
28:20 loved the look of the off camera flash photo! I’m wondering how would you go off camera or handheld w a film camera? I suppose the x3 doesn’t work w film cameras? Thank you for your helpful video 😊
Hi Scarlett, so the trigger can be used with some film cameras, you can use it in all manual mode, but I will make a follow-up video detailing use with film cameras specifically !
@@ishkhanghazarian ok thank you 🙏 looking forward to it
If I owned this Lux Master, I'd probably add a small quick release to the bottom of the flash and top of the supplied bracket. Perhaps the Falcam F38 or F22 plate and clamp would work. Having to unscrew the flash from the bracket to use it off camera seems like a needless bottleneck. Very thorough review. Thank you.
ohh that’s such a great idea!! I’ll have to look into picking one up!! Appreciate your support!
I just ordered the quick release. That is what this flash needs, it should be built in.
@@DavidStewart-jb7mo that’s awesome! Agreed it’s a such a great feature to add to it!
Amazing video and product review, so simple and easy to understand. I know you have a Leofoto tripod - but which one? That silver looks so cool
appreciate your kind words! The Leofoto tripod i’m using is their Wings of God series tripod, the small one, love this thing!!
@@ishkhanghazarian Thanks so much - after watching your video on it I just ordered one fro Germany - I am in UK but there was no stock - one of the MF cameras I use for personal use (I'm a Pro - 35yrs+) is a Hass CFV100c and thats a bit retro so this will look cool - have a great day thanks again
@@nelsonclub7722 It’s my pleasure, that’s an amazing camera, I got a chance to briefly play with and it’s so fun to use! Enjoy!
Finally used mine on a shoot yesterday I liked it a lot just a better on camera flash.
oh that’s so great to hear!! Glad you’re enjoying it!
another hippie looking product 😁
Flashes looked like this in the 60's and it's a retro product.
Thank you for the detailed walkthrough! I tried following but my flash is not firing 😢 I’ve tried both auto and manual mode on my hot shoe. The recycle light was continuously on green so I know it was fully charged and ready to go. How do I troubleshoot the issue? (Using x100vi)
Hi Jana, it can definitely help out with that. So with the Fuji you need to actually need to change 2 settings in the menu. 1st go to the flash menu and turn off “Built In Flash” that will disable the cameras built in flash. The 2nd setting is under “Flash Function Settings” and make sure the sync terminal setting is set to “M”. Once that’s done you should be able to use any external flash. Also feel free to dm me on instagram if you have any other questions or need more help, i’ll do my best to help out!
Wow! I didnt expect the flash to have such a fancy touchscreen
dude right, so fancy!!
This device is so stylish looking!! I love the retro feel 😍
also lol 30:56 we've all been there
same such a unique flash!!! ✨
@@albinwhisperlandhahaha unavoidable 😂
Nice shots! What sort of bracket are you using to mount the grip and flash controller?
hey I’m using the Tilta grip, with the nato mount attachment that attached to l bracket. Then I have a cold shoe attached to the top of the tilta grip to attach the wireless trigger. I have some options on my gear page on my website. It’s a hodgepodge of parts so get creative haha
@@ishkhanghazarian I’ll look into that, thanks!
Surprised how the cadet renders compared to the Senior. Wasn't expecting it to be that powerful.
The smaller reflector dish definitely helps out in that regard to create a nice hard flash! Really fun to use!
"Unboxings" are boring and a waste of time. Many RUclipsrs don't consider that some viewers are on pre-paid mobile Internet.. so the bullsh*t is also a waste of money. >>> moving on. 👋
Cotton gloves?
not a fan, been doing it for 11 years now haven’t had any issues
The thicker one is twice the price than the normal one. I really like the design but the price is just…not cheap at all😅😅
it is a chunky boy!
A solution in search of a problem.
I’ve been cutting 35mm and 120 negs up with scissors for 40+ years, what’s the problem? Looks like a solution in search of a problem. Rolling negs along a surface risks scratching the film. I’m sure equipment junkies will buy it, but a pair of scissors are much cheaper and will not scratch the neg.
Fun theme
Ishkhan, took note of the idea of rewinding the film with rubber rings.
glad i could help!
I just receive mine, its amazing; a real game changer.
yess!! it’s amazing!!!
Nice. Is this star filter a Hasselblad ?
