nice review. By the way, what brand is your tripode? thank you
Hi there, it’s the Leofoto Wings of God tripod, I have a full review on my channel as well as a 12% Off Promo Code: “ISHKHANGHAZARIAN”
I have a Flashpoint R2 SP Single Pin Transceiver, it triggers Godox flashes. It’s safe for film cameras. You can take test shots on a digital camera, leave the settings the same on the film camera and flash, and you can have it trigger on the same channel. It works pretty good. Ie both cameras can trigger the flashes, without problems, and voltage is safe for film cameras on the R2 SP.
Hi John thank you much for the insight, I’ll definitely take a look into the R2 Transceiver!
@@ishkhanghazarian Trys this video for better explanation "Remotely fire godox/flashpoint lights from MULTIPLE camera triggers"
Woooo
such a sick little light!!
Great review! Sounds like I just picked one up for myself.
that's so great to hear Nelson! You'll definitely like it, by far my favourite tripod!
28:20 loved the look of the off camera flash photo! I’m wondering how would you go off camera or handheld w a film camera? I suppose the x3 doesn’t work w film cameras? Thank you for your helpful video 😊
Hi Scarlett, so the trigger can be used with some film cameras, you can use it in all manual mode, but I will make a follow-up video detailing use with film cameras specifically !
@@ishkhanghazarian ok thank you 🙏 looking forward to it
If I owned this Lux Master, I'd probably add a small quick release to the bottom of the flash and top of the supplied bracket. Perhaps the Falcam F38 or F22 plate and clamp would work. Having to unscrew the flash from the bracket to use it off camera seems like a needless bottleneck. Very thorough review. Thank you.
ohh that’s such a great idea!! I’ll have to look into picking one up!! Appreciate your support!
Amazing video and product review, so simple and easy to understand. I know you have a Leofoto tripod - but which one? That silver looks so cool
appreciate your kind words! The Leofoto tripod i’m using is their Wings of God series tripod, the small one, love this thing!!
@@ishkhanghazarian Thanks so much - after watching your video on it I just ordered one fro Germany - I am in UK but there was no stock - one of the MF cameras I use for personal use (I'm a Pro - 35yrs+) is a Hass CFV100c and thats a bit retro so this will look cool - have a great day thanks again
@@nelsonclub7722 It’s my pleasure, that’s an amazing camera, I got a chance to briefly play with and it’s so fun to use! Enjoy!
Finally used mine on a shoot yesterday I liked it a lot just a better on camera flash.
oh that’s so great to hear!! Glad you’re enjoying it!
another hippie looking product 😁
Flashes looked like this in the 60's and it's a retro product.
Thank you for the detailed walkthrough! I tried following but my flash is not firing 😢 I’ve tried both auto and manual mode on my hot shoe. The recycle light was continuously on green so I know it was fully charged and ready to go. How do I troubleshoot the issue? (Using x100vi)
Hi Jana, it can definitely help out with that. So with the Fuji you need to actually need to change 2 settings in the menu. 1st go to the flash menu and turn off “Built In Flash” that will disable the cameras built in flash. The 2nd setting is under “Flash Function Settings” and make sure the sync terminal setting is set to “M”. Once that’s done you should be able to use any external flash. Also feel free to dm me on instagram if you have any other questions or need more help, i’ll do my best to help out!
Wow! I didnt expect the flash to have such a fancy touchscreen
dude right, so fancy!!
This device is so stylish looking!! I love the retro feel 😍
also lol 30:56 we've all been there
same such a unique flash!!! ✨
@@albinwhisperlandhahaha unavoidable 😂
Nice shots! What sort of bracket are you using to mount the grip and flash controller?
hey I’m using the Tilta grip, with the nato mount attachment that attached to l bracket. Then I have a cold shoe attached to the top of the tilta grip to attach the wireless trigger. I have some options on my gear page on my website. It’s a hodgepodge of parts so get creative haha
@@ishkhanghazarian I’ll look into that, thanks!
Surprised how the cadet renders compared to the Senior. Wasn't expecting it to be that powerful.
The smaller reflector dish definitely helps out in that regard to create a nice hard flash! Really fun to use!
"Unboxings" are boring and a waste of time. Many RUclipsrs don't consider that some viewers are on pre-paid mobile Internet.. so the bullsh*t is also a waste of money. >>> moving on. 👋
Cotton gloves?
not a fan, been doing it for 11 years now haven’t had any issues
The thicker one is twice the price than the normal one. I really like the design but the price is just…not cheap at all😅😅
it is a chunky boy!
A solution in search of a problem.
I’ve been cutting 35mm and 120 negs up with scissors for 40+ years, what’s the problem? Looks like a solution in search of a problem. Rolling negs along a surface risks scratching the film. I’m sure equipment junkies will buy it, but a pair of scissors are much cheaper and will not scratch the neg.
Fun theme
Ishkhan, took note of the idea of rewinding the film with rubber rings.
glad i could help!
I just receive mine, its amazing; a real game changer.
yess!! it’s amazing!!!
Nice. Is this star filter a Hasselblad ?
it’s a tiffen star filter
Lmaooo that giggle at the end 😂
🫣🤣
Thanks for showing us how this works. I have seen this, and want one, but when I contacted the company in Germany, they responded that, unfortunately, this device was not for sale in the United States. How did you get one of these? Any tips on how to purchase in the US? Thanks.
Hi Charles, they have opened up US/Canada sales and they should have it in stock ready to go directly from their website!
What a cool video! Loved the vintage intro!!! 👏🏻 Very informative and a really neat flash for any vintage camera, or retro style camera like a FujiX100 or XE4... One thing worries me though: since the flash can only be charged in the flash is the battery by any chance replaceable? Usually those batteries last 2-3 years and have to replaced. What is Godox saying about this? Thanks 🙏🏻
Appreciate it! It is pretty neat with its retro design! Definitely understand your concern in regard to the battery. I’m not to sure with the warranty they offer, sorry I can’t help you with that one. But they do have their Lux Junior which runs off of AA batteries, still a cool design, definitely can be a contender. I’d consider these a fun flash to have for casual use, definitely if you’re going to be using a flash in a heavier capacity I’d look into their V1 Pro or something in the TT series, better suited for bulk work.
Links for these items?
Hey I added some of the 3D files to the description to the video, the original attachments you'll have to check e bay or maybe your local camera stores
Just ordered mine using your affiliate link!!!
Thank you so much Jas, I really appreciate that!! Your support means a lot. Hope you enjoy the process of building your own camera, should be loads of fun!
Awesome shot! Where did you get the lens hood with the cold shoe tho??? Love it
It's what I was looking for! But can the blade be changed when it is worn out?
you should be able to contact Optik Old School and be able to purchase replacements on pretty much any part of the cutter including the blade!
Alright, I just emailed them and will let you know as soon as they get back to me. Ciao!@@ishkhanghazarian
here is their interesting answer. You can replace every single part of the Film Killer! We designed it for quick component exchange; no parts are glued or riveted. Thus, all parts are interchangeable. The main housing can be unscrewed from the bottom to facilitate part replacement. We stock all parts and will continue to offer them in our shop. Rest assured, the blade still cuts very well in our initial models, and we've already cut approximately 1000 films in our laboratory with it.
@@GiacomoAlbertini that’s awesome to hear!
@@ishkhanghazarian ☺
did you always want to be a gear shill on youtube? jesus christ use a scissor
A pair of scissors costs?
An exquisite Sasuke scissor made by Yasuhiro Hirakawa can cost up to $30,000. some of the most beautiful scissors I’ve ever seen!
Cool product, I though it would be a lot more expensive. Right now i'm just using a mini card trimmer off amazon, but maybe a future upgrade for me.
it’s nice quality of life upgrade for sure, but whatever work for you is also a great tool!
How to solve a problem you didn´t know you had
$15 Staples guillotine cutter does the same thing for 1/3 the price. I have never missed a cut with mine.
If it works you that’s great! There’s something for everyone!
I used another cheaper version of this type of film cutter and it scratched the crap out of my negs. This version looks like an improvement. I just bought the JJC film cutter for about US$20 and it includes a light source. It's probably the simplest and nicest film cutter I've ever used.
yes this definitely improved on old designs, works like a charm!
I use a scissor
It's an option for sure, this tool can also be useful for people with less steady hands, something for everyone :)
+1
Great review. I actually ordered this item 6 days ago.
thank you so much! It's an awesome tool, you'll definitely enjoy it!
Hey Ish! are you gonna make a tutorial on how to use this with nikon f-3? i have an as-7 flash unit but i am not able to connect it with my nikon f3. Again, thank you for this video
Hi, yes I can definitely make a video! Keep an eye out!
@@ishkhanghazarian eagerly waiting!!!
Hiii 🙈 would you be making it anytime soon? still figuring out how to use As-7 flash with my cam

FIRST BY 30 SECONDS
eyyy appreciate you bro!
Harry Hadcliff? 😂
You look like fahad fazil
Do you recommend all of these mounts for speedlights too?
maybe for very small ones like the nikon sb-18 / leica sf-20 / reflx lab simple flash anything bigger is recommended the hasselbald grip or a side handle to mount too
Okay, that makes sense. The plastic mounts seem less durable for holding the speedlight
How do you upload them like a regular DSLR picture?
Photos are taken on film and then scanned after the film is developed and digitized.
Great Job Ishkhan
thank you Raffi Jan!
great stuff brother!
Thank you so much!!
