This reminds me of those songs from the 90s that seem to be taking a page from the 70s. I should be able to give you a band reference as an example but I just woke up, so I can't. lol It's pleasant, happy-sounding, yet retains a sort of "edge", lyrically. There's an emotional indie-flick out there that's dying to have this in their end-credits sequence. hehe I hope you're still doing well. I'm glad the creative-juice seems to be ever-present in your world, right now. \m/

You've certainly got a knack for this kind of thing. This gives off a sensation of "bittersweet acceptance" of sorts. I suppose to context could be a number of things though. I still get in "moods" where I'll go through your channel and listen to the songs like this. There's a "sincerity" to them that can really be felt and appreciated.

Someone commented on a different drum video that it was wicked in 1.25x and I didn't know that would transfer to the next video when I checked it out. What I'm trying to say is try this in 1.25x playback speed!

I'm enjoying these "demo tapes from the void" or whatever you want to call them. I get this feeling like you were having a good time, putting this together. Or maybe you were having the WORST time and this is what you get. Rhythmic pain, compressed and manifesting as audio, with enough structure to let you know that (at least at one point) there was a human mind behind it all. I'm digging the drumming on this one, especially. The way it alternates from that almost "ye olde hip-hip kinda' beat" to the somewhat kvlt-sounding blasting. Boy, when you're fixing to put together something eccentric and abrasive, you don't fuck around! Do ya'? 😆

Is that tremolo (or noise-gating) effect a result of dogfighting going on in the mix or did you set it up that way? That's pretty interesting, how much it accentuates the attitude going on here. Quite the nightmarish, cacophonous energy being dished out! It's almost like Xotox meets japanoise. hehe \m/

Years ago, when MY dog was on the way out, they gave him some kind of painkiller but it never made him play double-bass like THAT! \m/ I find this iteration/archetype/era of WF like a hybrid of sludge and slam. In short but hefty doses like THIS, it really DOES tend to hit the spot. Scumfucking Rock N' Roll and a lot of the older WF still comes up on my phone's playlist at the gym or whatever and even with the harder stuff from yesteryear, it's wild to see the ride WF has played out, stylistically. I think most of the "latest" stuff actually represent a much more REFINED version of WF's initial iteration. Back when you had (pretty much) shitpost songs like "Beating My Corn". LOL If you know what I mean. A more purpose-driven, structured version of those kinda' "vibes". If that makes any sense. hehe Anyhow, vera' noice! \m/
