‘Alonnesos Peristera 5th c. B. C. Shipwreck’ is an Augmented Reality test-application, which was developed as part of the EU Marebox-project (www.marebox.eu), using the Sitsim AR-platform (www.sitsim.no).
The ‘Alonnesos Peristera 5th c. B. C. Shipwreck’ AR simulation is based on Dr. Elpida Hadjidaki-Marder’s excavations and publications (www.persee.fr/doc/bch_0007-4217_1996_num_120_2_4619), and includes a ‘dry dive’ to the 5th c. B. C. wreck as well as a reconstruction of the ship’s final hours.
