I use Twilio to send and receive the text messages, with Make.com to interface between programs.

This was fab. Can you please show the webhook response module? I am getting error when sending a message from salesforce to make. It says, Delivery failed reason : version mismatch.

Yes, this is possible to do, you'll want something like this: ruclips.net/video/6w_prDdHcH0/видео.html You can't do dynamic rows with Google docs (or at least not very easily), I'd recommend using a tool like PandaDoc to create generic docs, or using a tool like QuickBooks if you're trying to create invoices.

can you upload a pdf file to Monday forms? So the document shows on the form as well
You can have a field to request files to be uploaded by the person filling the form out, but you can't have the pdf display on the form itself.

This is everything but not user friendly …
It is a more technical tutorial, sadly with more simplicity/user friendliness, the more advanced the backend stuff becomes. This video provides a balance between simplicity/user friendliness, some may find it too technical, some may find it too simple for their needs.

I think you misunderstand the purpose of the video. This is to solve a very specific issue. Please review my other video's for tutorials on creating different aspects of the invoicing.

Thank you for the video tutorial! How can the person signing supply the information on the blank variables and then automatically update the board as well? I tried sending by but it requires me to input the details before I can totally send the document. And when I choose option number 2 "...blank" then there is no way to supply the details needed from the recipient. I appreciate your help in advance!
Hey, thanks for the question! Unfortunately you cannot do this with the native features inside of the PandaDoc integration. Hi Guys, I'm working with auto numbers for my #invoice. But I cannot find it in the "Mappable column values" and so I cannot add it in my "set multiple variables". Is there a function I can use or perhaps another solution? Many Thanks!
Hello, For the auto numbering system, you don't need to set an Invoice number if you don't want to. If you do, you can just manually type in a number, or create a column inside of Monday.com that represents a invoice number that you can then map to inside of Make.com

Unfortunately that's something you'll have to figure out. The functionality is fairly simple (setup sending and receiving logic and tweak your results), using Monday.com, Make.com and Twilio.
I am finding with monday, there how to video are hard to understand because they are sales video. They will say just hit this this and this, and it goes so fast you end up spending hours googling were that button is. @@GideonHarrisYT

Hi Joey, this video was created several years ago, the purpose was primarily to show what's possible, more than getting into the specific details of how to do it.
@@GideonHarrisYT I found that it’s actually much easier now to integrate than when you were originally trying to set it up. They have a couple of plug-ins now. But the main thing nowadays is you have to have a verified 10 DLC registered account in order to send any Sms.

Excellent question, unfortunately I'm not so far into the API architecture that I could give you a definite answer. I'd recommend taking a look at the SalesForce API documentation: developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.api_rest.meta/api_rest/intro_what_is_rest_api.htm
This is a good video, perfectly works with Power Automate. Now I can trigger by Power Automate flow based from the item update/creation from SalesForce.
Are you able to automate/populated line items from other board and/or from a previous monthly invoice? We have multiple monthly invoicing from the same clients with different line item but typically each client has their same line items each month. We want to avoid having to actually create the line items every month. Additionally, our billable hours come from yet another source/board which we would like to populate into the invoice. Possible?
Hey Edward, Yes that's possible, though fairly complex to set up. Typically you'd want to set all that information under a client profile board, where you set the "default settings" for each invoice. It's a pretty advanced automation, but it's possible, and I've done it half a dozen times with the added complexity of time tracking.
This was great - very informative and I now feel like I can put together a webhook!
So i am trying to do this same process but once a form is filled out and the main table in monday is populated. Is it possible to use a conditional "if" or "if not" statement in the sequence? For example some of the cells in the main table will be left blank from time to time and I don't want to include the blank answers in the response. Can I trigger the sequence to exclude the blank answers if they are pulled?
Hey, Not quite sure I follow your question here but I'll give a shot at the answer. If you're referring to not including line items on the invoice if one or more of the fields on that line item are blank, then yes it is possible. You simply have to add a condition somewhere between the Iterator and the Aggregator (green modules) that just says "field X" is not blank and "field Y" is not blank, etc. So long as all the fields are filled on that particular subitem, then it passes through to the next stage, if it doesn't pass the filter, then it only puts those that do, etc. It'll take some tweaking to get right. Let me know if that makes sense.

Hi Mate, great video so far, im up to the point where you link your google drive, i use onedrive not good. and i cant get it to link to my invoice template. i can get it to look at the folder that contains the template but thats as far as i can get. any tips?
Hey Mark, You might be better off trying to use something like Quickbooks and/or a tool called PandaDoc which allows you to create documents with templates pretty easily (or at least easier than what I have shown here). Those softwares do charge you to use them, but in my opinion it's well worth the cost. The video here is a full walkthrough of the process and I'm afraid I don't know your circumstances in what you're trying to set up that is causing it not to work :/

panda no longer an integration in Monday? If it still works, it's worth purchasing. But Panda service wants to charge a couple thousand to have their team set it up. If this is still a functioning integration, it's so easy to do it ourselves. Just not sure it works.
PandaDoc still integrates with Monday.com - it's not a two way integration, for that you have to write some extra code. I'd check out Make.com if you want to get more advanced automations setup.
Hi! I have a question. I would like to send an automatic email to every new customer on Stripe through Gmail. Do you know how can I get the email address from the Stripe integration webhook to send it via Gmail?
I'd tack it onto another process/action. If you've got a sequence that creates a stripe customer, I'd jump off of that trigger and set up an email automation (either through a gmail connection, or SendGrid is my platform of choice) via Make.com and send it across. Alternatively you could set up a timer that runs daily to check for new customers and sends it out. It's not a super simple automation and will require some investigation on how the platforms work. I'd start with some Make.com tutorials and work from there.
does this need a zap built in or can it be done easily by one of our team?
This is a really old system that I don't think will work any longer. I'd recommend building it with Make.com or Zapier and tools like google docs to generate the document. Not a super easy process sadly.

You're welcome! Linking payments is separate from invoices - you'll have to use the "Create a Payment" module for that to work.
And Gideon: other Question, usually we have also a Layer above the costs for grouping them in conception, content, project management etc. Is there a way to integrate these? Because in your demo the subtasks are the positions of the offer, but we would need one additional layer.
Hey, Thanks for the questions! For groupings and creating line items on the invoices - I would actually recommend using a different tool called PandaDoc or Quickbooks to generate those invoices. It will give you a lot more freedom for formatting and integrate more easily with payment softwares to collect. The video here is primarily for the purpose of creating very basic PDF invoices, and your use case would not work well for what you're hoping it to be able to do. Regarding your question on getting the pulse id's - take a look at the description of the video where I go into one of the steps that I missed. All the best, -Gideon

Sorry :/ nothing I can do about that. There is a workaround that takes longer to set up and is kind of janky, but will work: using email templates to send to a email hook, then converting that to a webhook or use it directly in a software like Make.com
I believe with the developer sandbox you can create the webhook
while filling the form can you save and come back to it later ?

What's the point of this video if you don't show a process?
Twofold: 1) To show it's possible, and some of the tools involved. 2) To demo to prospective clients. It's not always for the general public. This particular video is really old and I wouldn't approach the same problem the same way, I would use different tools.

Hey Daniel, Unfortunately I probably won't put a tutorial to do it just the way I have outlined in the video (it's somewhat complicated and it's proprietary to the tools I build for my clients). I would recommend looking at the native PandaDoc integrations - it's not fully automated, but it definitely speeds up the process of getting documents out. The manual process comes in when you're extracting information from the NDA back into Monday.com. Let me know if that's helpful!

What is the app to integrate ?
I used Make.com, Twilio, and Monday.com to put this integration together.
Monday.com is the trigger and interface. Twilio is the thing that sends the text messages Make.com is the integration software (the glue) that does the connection between the two softwares.

Absolutely! The logic is pretty much the same, most payment processing platforms (Quickbooks, Xero, Stripe) have the same format/layout for creating invoices, so it's not that much work to plug in a different system and have it fully integrated.
Show us how you did all of this it would be more helpful
I'd like to record training videos for all the tools, but it requires a lot of time to set those up and record. I do offer services to implement these features in organizations.
