New subscriber nice clean truck. I like white as well
@@Mike__james thank you I appreciate it a lot 👍🏻
What happened to the KW?
@@Fr8hustler got stolen out of south Florida
@@RNRMike Are you serious? That’s crazy!
@@Fr8hustler yeah for real, I made a video about it, should be the next one uploaded after this one was posted
Interesting video. What do you do with those sheets you write up for yourself?
@@bigrigbutters187 thanks and I keep them with the BOL’s I never get rid of any trips That I run.
Nice tat on that right arm…
@@BoneheadTruckers thank you so much IKE I appreciate it a lot 👍🏻 go cowboys!
You lucky bastard… my ex shit canned me when I became a truck driver 😂😂 keep up these great videos!
Haha thanks bro I appreciate it!
I don't need too feel like family I already have family. how much money are you making?
Enough to where I’m happy and pay my bills and have plenty of money left over.
😂
do they have hair folicle for drug testing?
At the time I was hired I provided a urine sample.
Hey man, I do have a question about orientation that I don’t think I heard in your original video. How many days were orientation? Also do they make you go out with a mentor at any point? I’m coming over with about 2 years of experience just curious. Thanks a bunch!
Orientation was 1 day for me and I had my orientation in Minnesota and went out for a quick test drive with the safety director.
peterbilt my fav truck best interiour 579 drives rides good just no armrest for driver left hand gotta use door
By far the best truck I ever driven
Glad to hear it's still going well man! Keep on keeping it shiny side up.
Thanks bro, appreciate it a lot 👍🏻
Great video. Good to see you Mike. Glad you got back home to visit with family. Take care!
Thanks I appreciate it a lot! You as well
Thanks for the shout out! About to hit my 3 months with R&R. I love it here. Here for a long time 🚛💨
👍🏻👊🏼🤙🏻
How many miles are you averaging?
A typical week I can expect 2,400 - 2,850 in a given week very rare I get less then 2K a week in miles.
@RNRMike thanks man I got approved to work there but I am getting a bad vibe from recruiting every time I have a question
@@BKappgames who are you talking to that your getting a bad vibe from ?
@@RNRMike james
@@BKappgames call again and talk to Hunter that’s who I went through.
N' stuff like that.
I’m glad you are still there! If I wasn’t as such a great company already I’d come join you in a heartbeat.
Thanks man, I’m glad to hear your at a good trucking company it’s not often to find great company’s like the ones we work for, Good luck to you and drive safe!
Can’t wait to get more content from you! R&R seems like an excellent place
Thanks man I been really busy this month I’ll explain in a video and yes they are a great company to work for! Feel free to apply!
How is the pay? Getting good miles? A lot of night driving?
I’m happy with the pay, I average no less then 2,500 miles per week and I make my own schedule with the loads as long as I get the load there on time that’s what matters most, so for night driving it’s really up to you the driver if you want to drive day or night depending on the load schedule.
@RNRMike Thanks man. Be safe out there
Do they let you choose your truck? How is there medical benefits??
Yes depending on the availability of trucks at the time of request and I’m currently not enrolled into the medical benefits so I can not say
I don't see your response
@@rking8385 sorry about that, the choice selection is all based on availability of trucks at the time of the request and I’m not sure about the medical benefits, I’m currently not enrolled for Medical Benefits
@@RNRMike ok thanks for the info
Do they have manual trucks?
Yes they do
What’s cpm starting pay at r&r? Cameras? What is truck governed at?
CPM depends on experience and if you have a hazmat endorsement, they have dash cams and In cab facing cameras that only record on a event trigger basis and the trucks are governed at 72 MPH.
I worked for this company for a year and a half my dispatcher was a guy named Bart he's out of romeoville Illinois and he was a complete asshole after a year and a half I couldn't deal with this shit no more the original owner his name was Robert he's pretty much retired now his son Ryan runs the place out of romeoville my final straw they had me sit for 16 hours on a delivery and Bart refused to pay me detention the yard in romeoville is so small a lot of times when you get there at night you have to park out on the street fuck this company one of the worst companies you'll ever work for stay clear away my first 3 days they put me in a Volvo and it didn't have a bed so they gave me a bed that wasn't designed for that truck the little bed was about 3 ft wide I slept on that for about 3 days until they got me a regular mattress it was miserable trying to sleep on a 3 ft wide little mattress
Avg wkly pay?
After taxes I look at around $1,400 - $1,800 per week direct deposited.
Are you company or lease ?
I’m a company W-2 driver
What is your weekly avg?
I average about 2,700 - 3,100 miles a week
Are you still at R&R
Yes currently on home time
What do they start out at CPM If you have your hazmat and two years experience
I believe 61 cents per mile
@@RNRMikedo you run a lot of hazmat and do you do full truck load or almost LTL I see you do a lot of stops on loads
@@tybanks23 i personally do not have a hazmat endorsement, so I’m not sure on the amount of Hazmat loads this company has to offer and at most I’ll only have like 2 - 4 per make every now and then, about 75 percent of the time I have 1 drop loads, all depends on the area I’m in, when I got to New York City I’ll have about 4 - 5 drops to make up there.
@@RNRMike are you forced dispatch to New York that’s the only place I don’t run lol
@@tybanks23 lol I understand and no as a company driver I’m not forced dispatched anywhere, I prefer to go to New York City because of the extra pay but that’s just me.
Beautiful truck! Do you guys have lots of direct contract and customer based freight which keeps you moving??? Or do you guys do a bunch of brokered crap???
Thanks! We have a huge amount of restaurant depot loads that we do all the time, 80% of the work I do is delivering to restaurant depots around the country
Hey man I'm trying to reach out to you I want to ask you about the company I'm getting ready to switch over I would be more inclined to use you as a driver referral if you can get ahold of me so I can ask you some questions
What is their CPM
Depends on experience and if you have a hazmat endorsement.
Cowgirls lost. Them girls lost
Im based in Seattle WA area. Think they would hire me or nah? How are they with home time? Im like you i stay out 2 months+ but then when i go home, not always but sometimes i like to take like 2 weeks off.
They would definitely hire you, they have a terminal out in California, I live in Florida, so home time for me is not a big deal, I would definitely try to apply
@@RNRMike I hate KWs so if I went with them I would be like "I'll only drive for you guys if I can have something other than the KW" lol
@@mugetsuu23 that’s easy! We also have peterbilt’s, Volvos, Mack’s and international trucks
@@RNRMike When you did your orientation with them where did you do it at? How long? Paid travel and hotel to them?
@@RNRMike Besides the SoCal, Romeoville, and Lake Park, MN Terminals, are there any other locations that you have? Any dropyards in the Pacific Northwest or west coast?
Great video. Thanks
Glad you liked it!
Sounds like an awesome place
Yes to say that I like the company is for sure a understatement, only regret I have is not applying here earlier in my career.
@@RNRMike You guys have good equipment… from the sounds of it good miles as well
@@SannarClaus yeah, I’m currently on a 6 drop 2,000 plus mile load
How much miles in a given week?
@@TeodoroGonzalez-l5j I average around 2,400 - 3,000 per week.
Can you do an update???
About to release 2 videos today
Do they run anything else besides KW?
Yes they have Peterbilts, Volvos, Internationals, Mack’s.
Do they have an inward facing camera?
Yes only time it records is when there is a event that is triggered
Thank you. You sacrifice your lifestyle so everyone else has a great holiday. Stand up man. God bless
Happy Thanksgiving 🦃
Resturant depot
yup ur right man good place worked there 4 yrs just stay clean of bart in the romeoville office on anton drive lol he's a dick
Traffic? Lol
When I was backing up there was traffic at the time I filmed this it was not bad
F a blind side I’m turning
Nice maneuvering. Could also use that driveway and angle straight back at about 30degrees so its not fully blind.
Yeah I did, I did a blind side back until I could get into position for the drive way across the way
RUFKM... Try the post office in Manhattan
Nebiskos in Brooklyn. Is smaller than that.....with alot narrower street.....AND it was blindsided jacking.
Obviously you've never been to Ralphs in Compton
You apparently have never been on the east coast. L.A. is a cake walk
Just driven through New York City and parts of New Jersey never had to deliver there yet
Thanks for keeping America Running Trucker
Thanks for the appreciation!
I personally had some challenging docks in NY. Good luck.
Not that bad, unless you blindside in.I've Definitely seen worse.
Yeah that’s what I’ve been told, luckily I was able to do this on the see side and not have to blind side this one
