    Haha you clearly don't know your geology too well. Those weren't vugs, that's just the crystal structure. Those quartz veins are called stringers. Prove your findings before making outlandish remarks regarding basic geology. And BTW Comstock mining owns those claims so tread carefully.

    • @themahoneymine
      @themahoneymine Час назад

      Thank you for your kind words. I appreciate your basic comprisal of what we saw. There were veins that were far beyond stringers (which we have a ton of in our active gold/silver mine), and most of the rocks we saw showed signs of a secondary hydroclastic push resulting in a compressed sheen and lack of vugginess. But what do we know? Not much. I do know that the Producer and Playwright, Norman Lear, was quoted as saying, "Nobody ever built a statue to a critic.". I truly hope you enjoyed the video and did not experience excessive symptoms of nausea or mental confusion.

    This precious metals deposit needs to be professionally dowsed. In the 1970's my father and I reverse engineered the physics involved in dowsing and invented the modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod for applying physics in dowsing to locate our old core-drill on the exact center of gold and silver veins that are buried under 200 feet of glacier rock and till, which worked out perfectly for us. I wrote the book to teach the world how to apply physics in dowsing for sought elements. My book: The Art of Dowsing - Separating Science from Superstition ($14.95), by Michael Fercik, explains all the physics involved in dowsing, which are the same physics that energizes the alarm on electronic metal detectors, and my book teaches how to build the modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod, which is the only dowsing rod that accurately gauges the element being dowsed by pitting the energy of gravity against the energizes of the pure one-tenth ounce dowsing rod load that is tapped onto the ELEVATED acetylene welding rod, which is free spinning on ball bearings. This precisely gauges the dowsing of all edges, exact center, depth buried with angle of deposition, and most important is grading or deciphering the amount of the dowsed element that is contained in the elemental mass that is being dowsed. Anybody can become a professional dowser by practicing and mastering the dowsing lessons taught in my book. I hope dowsing enriches your life intellectually and financially.

      @WildernessMedic 29 дней назад

      @@themahoneymine So even though I'm not getting any silver in my samples from panning, I may have lots of silver in my ore? Most mines around here had more silver than gold, and it does look like it may have some but I'm not good at IDing it in the rock.

    • @themahoneymine
      @themahoneymine 29 дней назад

      @WildernessMedic - OK. Sit down. Relax. This is going to be a LONG reply. Silver is one of the most amazing of the precious metals. Gold looks like gold. Not much in the way of variants. But then there is silver. Our ore, in sweet spots assays at over 500oz per ton. No big surprise. Our ground is known as some of the richest in the world. We still don't know what to look for in the raw ore. Silver can be slivers, feathers, or spires so pure it looks like processed ore. It can be black, grey, greyish-blue, or whitish in color. The silver ore in one mine can look entirely different than the silver ore on the next ridgeline. Processing it is an entirely different beast. Depending on the ground it is taken from the process and optimal way to process it can vary widely. We are blessed to have a significant amount of gold in our mine, because we still don't have the whole silver thing worked out. We have used some of the tailings for our driveway and joke that it's paved with silver.

      THAT, sir, is a GREAT question. I have no idea. Really. I don't know. This is taken out of the second and currently richest vein in the mine. We do not salt it or analyze it. We have hit areas that average 18g/ton AU and over 500oz/ton AG. Close to Bonanza grade values. This is the same ore we process. Last weekend at home, I crushed less than 20lbs of ore, and after I panned it, there was a good solid ring of gold in the pan. We are on the gold for sure. We make no guarantee of what you will get because this is the raw - real deal.

      @themahoneymine MODERN YOU TUBE GOLD MINES ARE FROM SELLING PAYDIRT EITHER SALTED OR TAKEN FROM MINE DUMPS, WHICH MAKES THE BUYER A SUCKER. YOU SHOULD KNOW THE VALUE PER TON OF YOUR OWN MINE THROUGH THE ASSAYS. YOUR ANSWER DRAWS QUESTIONS. JASONS ORE WAS THE SAME A LOT OF HYPE AND THE ROI WAS NON EXSISTANT

      I have been as honest as possible. I stated the assay values we have received on the vein we are on. We don't salt or misrepresent the ore. The reason I crushed/panned 3 little rocks last weekend was that i saw a video of someone processing Jason's ore. I wanted to see if ours was better and my results - with much less ore - were definitely better. I can't tell you exactly what the ROI will be unless I process it for you and send you the results. Mother Nature just doesn't work like that.

      They are available all over. Go to ebay or Amazon and search for "blacklight flashlight". Hope this helps!

      No worries. We were not intending on going where rappelling would be needed. We had the gear and chose to leave it at the surface with the Safety Officer. Next time we will know exactly what gear to take down with us. Baby steps in things like this. We're not done with this one yet!

      Channels? Lose your taste for all shuttered industry and actually explore with the National Speleological Society. Also, the British Columbia Speleological Federation. Me? I have what is inside glaciers found on an active volcano.

    My buddy and I explored this mine about a month ago, we stopped at the bottom of the main shaft and didn't squeeze down that ladder, we want to go back and explore the whole thing

      @kitfrancek979 - we are going back. We descended 2-3 hundred feet to the first crosscut. The shaft gets much more vertical from there, so it will take much more additional gear. That is the point where I think most mid-skill explorers with any sense would stop. Part 2 will be pushing to reach the bottom.

    Awesome exploration video! It looks like there might be some good ore left over! I’m glad you all enjoyed the exploration safely. Good gold hunting! Take care.
