We found a hill loaded with quartz and gold and silver ore. It was CRAZY. Please watch the entire video to see some of the best looking precious metal rocks we have ever seen.
We were all tempted to carry away a few pounds of ore but we left them for the next prospectors to find. I will be all over BLM's MLRS system looking for at least one square foot that is unclaimed!
Great question. 👍 This is actually pretty normal. In most older, and even newer mines, the weakest point of ground challenges (potential cave-in spots) is the first 150 feet. There is less overhead mineral structure and the rain, snow, and freezing temperatures have a larger impact on fracturing rock closer to the drift. This is why most mines are well timbered near the entrance and then sporadically throughout the mine as needed.

You’re in Quartzsite Arizona. I’ve been to that place that you’re at. It’s up by Bouse.
Awesome! 👍
Very nice thank you for sharing.
You bet, we are just getting started.

Really neat place, definitely would have dragged home a lot of rocks!

All the forgotten GOLD in Virginia.. I think I know why Sir
There are so many untouched and yet to be discovered riches in this geological wonderland. Some areas are completely jaw-dropping.
You were welcomed how neat what a nice adventure
The area was just begging to be explored.
It's already showing you it's caving in why would you go into a mine that's already caving in
Great question. 👍
