The Barchetta! A Fiat from Gran Turismo days of old... A fun Italian convertible sports car that rival's the Miata for fun factor! It may be front wheel drive, but it makes up for that in charisma, sound, and driving dynamics! Plus it's quite pretty!

My daily driver from October 2021 to May 2022, this Lexus LS400 is the epitome of a great daily driver! Even with all the miles and wear showing on this example, it's performed flawlessly with nothing more than oil changes and tire swaps. Get them while they're still cheap!

Tour & Drive EP 17 - 1996 Rover MINI 1.3i (Rally Prepared)
My great grandpa was talked into this model(95) over a Park Avenue by my grandpa due to its size difference and drivetrains being the same. It had 27k when bought, my great grandparents had it from 97 til they passed in late '13, early '14. It was given to my grandpa who brought it from 60k to 70k miles. The following year 15' he gave it to me as my first car, I have had it since '15 and have brought it from 70k miles to currently 145700 miles. It's the car I grew up in the back of, let alone the best car I've ever, and continue to own. I've had to have the AC Compressor replaced, and some gaskets replaced, other than standard maintaince this car has not once given my great grandparents, my grandparents, or myself any problems. I will continue to love, and cherish this car, even more since my grandpa passed this last June. I love and miss them so much, very prideful to own their 95 Buick Regal Custom, and continue to build my life with it apart of it. Mine's the 3.8l v8 4t60e, Highway 30-32mpg, In-town 21-23. As it was their last sedan, I truly believe this will be my first, and my last as well!
My 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis can easily climb steep hills
Legendary model and engine just perfect with the quatro
What lift kit is this
So cool
what intake did you have ? , and is it bad driving without the flow mass air sensor ?
What did this sell for looking at one now
@@jalenknops they vary heavily. Usually in the $10,000-15,000 range depending on year mileage and condition
@@yodacode43 thanks! Hoping to get one around 7. Willing to do a bit of work but want to have something left over to make it unique
Love mine, and you dont see many of them because there are only 250? You and I know where two are lol
1.8 engine, 130 HP.
Whoever owned the car originally was brutal on it
Hi , how hard is it to get parts for this?
@@scottszuk5736 engine parts are not too bad. Anything you would need to ship over from Japan anyways will generally take 1 to 2 weeks to get here. But for general maintenance stuff there's enough cross reference parts that it can be done here for gaskets or sensors or oil changes, etc. there are some body parts shared with Suzuki samurais here in the US, as it's effectively the same platform. Axles wise it should be almost the same as the samurai as well. So brakes and brake parts should not be a problem.

GM engineer 1: how do we make these things faster? GM engineer 2: add some more shifters!!
Just bought one today 😂
Me too
What??? This is my neck of the woods. How much did it sell for? This was around the same time I bought my GR86 brand new for cash too. I definitely would’ve went for this instead.
My Geo Metro with automatic and Mercedes Diesel have shorter 0-60 times. My first car was a 1960 Corvair with powerglide. I learned patience driving that car. Probably was good for me.
That’s actually pretty darn good for only being 80HP! This thing looks to be faster than a Cadillac 350 diesel
I heard all three shifters
Super car
What a car!!!!
Nice review... I do see it after 3 years, I am looking at one now here in SA... I would probably remove the rear head rests for better visibility and a Tune does sound perfect as the car should have a bit more power for the class...
is this a 1.8 or 2.4?
1.8 132 HP
@@yodacode43 not bad, it pulls faster then the slushbox for sure
These are rare birds actually.. I’d save it..these were state of the art then
Your a lucky man...83 Hurst is a gorgeous car...and its a family heirloom..never sell it...clay bar and polish paint..seal it with F11...I had an 86 442 with same color interior black with silver and gold..miss thst car..never sell my friend youll regret it
Huh, better up that psi. Im pretty sure Donatello passed under you.
why does it got check engine light on
Bad O2 sensors
@@yodacode43 lol when i bought my 95, check engine light came on halfway through a 3 hour drive and it was just the O2 sensors
I loved those cars as a kid, girlfriend in HS had a maroon '87 Cutlass that looked like a 442 with the wheels, I always dreamed of putting a Olds 330, 350, 400, 425 or 455 it because the late 307 was a DOG.
Sad thing is the H/O 307 made almost as much HP as the last of the Olds 455s with 180 vs 190hp, of course the TQ and Rpms were completely different and the ultimate potential. I always thought it was a genuine shame GM let the ecomentalists intimidate them into going to 307 instead of keeping the 350 available or at least bringing back the old 330ci from the 60s, same as what Chevrolet should have done instead of the trash 305, should have brought back the 327 or put a 3.48 stroke in the 307. The performance desert from the late 70s until the early 90s was insane and I can't believe we ever recovered.
Very similar to my 68 with a 110 pg. I purposefully bought a corvair because I wanted a classic that got good mpg. The tradeoff is its slow, but I drive slow anyways so that doesnt bother me. Have my suzuki 650 for when I want to go fast.
You live in Michigan? I'm in Ann Arbor area.
Yep! Right near Flint
Hypersonic triple turbo with nitrous oxide booster as seen on nascar tracks 🎉🎉
14, that’s pretty good
Great looking cars, going to be super popular in another 10-20 years.
Already are, the G Body Cutlasses, 442s and Hurst Olds ate climbing in value fast, about 5-10 % a year.
lolzzzzzzzzzz
Do you think the chip is worth the money? I'm considering getting one for my E36 318is.
I've seen one for sale but a dented truck... Anyone know where to get parts
Just for this to be an hour, I’m subscribing
I appreciate this! Need to do another deep dive like this one.
@@yodacode43I’m looking into a 2005 s600… not sure if I want to cry after the few first months of owning it haha
@@TD-il6ju if you've got the money for upkeep to modify the power steering pump from an S500 to fit after the suspension takes a dump and the pump also dies, you'll be into normal suspension and a pump for probably $2000 all told. Then it'll be pretty reliable.
Dang that thing is such a beautiful car. I love the wheels
My 1st car was a 64 Corvair 500. It had a 3-speed non-syncho manual, 0-60 could be measured with an egg timer. No frills whatsoever, radio didn't even have push buttons but it returned more than 30 mpg and was fun to drive just due to it's character. Paid $125 and later sold it for $800 after painting it. Yes, I wish I still had it.
@YodaCode43 Do you know the name or part No. of the pod lights? Great vid thanks!
Hella 6" 500 series driving lamps on Amazon. $68 a pair!
Wow lovely color. Great video!
I had a 83 Oldsmobile i loved the car took it out and a guy smashed into me and totaled it, now i can't find a nother one. Enjoy it.
Beautiful car.
Cool car, now build a nice 455 for it so it will run as good as it looks. 😎
I believe 7a-fe 1.8 must fit in there
That thing rips. Nice.
Is this on Facebook Market place right now?
Correct, same one!
@@yodacode43 I thought it looked familiar. I've been looking to get into a Volvo cause they are just so dang cool but gotta wait cause I'm a broke college student haha. Beautiful car though man!
Well that’s not slow…. Lol
what this car needed was a REAL hurst T-handle manual shifter !! .... and a REAL open-air hood scoop !!
