So I have an SUV and the magnet doesn’t reach the light on my door with how far up it is would a stronger magnet work?

I just installed these ony wifes car the only difference is I put the magnet on the underside of the sill trim

Unfortunately the magnet doesn't work for me in a Mini Cooper 2016. I have put the light at the lowest point possible on the door, yet the gap where the magnet can be placed anywhere on the floor is still too big for the light sensor to go off.. it sucks..

I don't see any magnets in any of the boxes? Were they packed inside in sight ? I ordered three boxes and cannot find the magnets. Can I substitute kitchen cabinet door magnets?
