Idk why but vice city vehicle textures seem to have these dark areas in the textures that seem like baked in shadows or dirt. It stands out even more since reviced makes the vehicles more shiny.

the signal is based on your direction, if youre driving towards the target it goes up, so when you stop the car the signal also goes down.

Congrats on the boxing thing, did you unlock new combat animations like CJ? (weak joke i know, sorry you can bleach your eyes now to unread it) btw muted gameplay is not too bad honestly, you do a good job of keeping things engaging, would it be possible to make a radio repalcer with non copyright free music only? even if you play with radio off, when places auto play radios it would be nice because you know theres a much smaller chance for dmca issues, just an idea idk how easy or hard it would be to replace all the songs of every radio, even if every radio was the same for simplicity sake, since it's just a "if it auto plays somewhere in the game, it's safe"

I have no actual knowledge about how much it is about reVC, but I'd hazard a guess that being able to _actually_ mod the game inside out is what allowed this vision to be crafted so well. I really hope more people look at this and start realizing the potential the reverse engineering projects offer. This is exactly what I imagined when I first heard about the re projects. Obviously we'd get the game functioning properly on modern hw etc. But kind of modding potential having the actual game code and adding to it is insane.

I believe that Tommy's voice doesn't sound like him is probably because they asked the AI to generate the speech using Ray Liotta's voice instead of Tommy Vercetti's. I know it's the same person, but it usually sounds pretty different.
