No debate! It absolutely is. If anyone ask where you heard it from. just tell them some dude over the internet named Michael.
Thanks for sharing. Do you see any validity in the coming of judgment in AD 70 / near fulfillment view?
Wtf is this stupid shit?
don't dismiss the animated. The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels and The Bad Batch were outstanding
The Historisist position is that the Harlot Church is the Roman Church. Martin Luther and most of the Reformation Fathers knew that the antichrist is the Papacy. "They went out from us because they were not of us." Those people were set up to take the Pagan Roman Empire and turn it into the so-called Holy Roman Empire which is responsible for the murders of over 50,000,000 Christians. Read some of that history and or buy the book Horae Apocalypticae by Elliot. The book was written around 1830 and does an excellent work. The Futurists believe in big trouble called the Great Tribulation where there is no mention of such a thing. "You will have tribulation.", and so-called rapture and a so-called world ruling antichrist and they are still waiting for the Abomination of Desolation which Jesus described as "amies" surrounding Jerusalem. " 43 For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, 44And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation." Luke 19 The Revelation was written in signs and symbols which were not to be taken literally but described the history of Pagan Rome via the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
every knows or should know by now, Vatican City is the great filthy harlot,Is Jerusalem like unto a harlot, yep she sure is, but the chaps in Revelation is speaking clearly of Vatican City. Now even sure why this is questioned...??? those preterists hold some heretical ideas. yeah i know what the term heresy means,, a belief, nothing more,, a belief contrary to commom doctrine.
God is not real
Great sermon Dave!! I love how bold enough yo give listeners a little history lesson on how even secular Josephus historians confirm Jesus prophesied in both Mt.23 and 24 and how all the Christians escaped the horrific destruction that came to Al those who did not heed Jesus’ warning!!of
Thank you so much for being honest enough to explain the preterist interpretation to truth seekers instead of just giving them the usual futurist indoctrination like most Baptist pastors who won’t even consider the possibility they might have been taught wrong doctrine at their bible colleges!! It’s SO rare to find an honest bible teacher who teaches people to study for themselves instead of just indoctrinating!!!! Thank you so much!!!!
It fit not. Sorry
What is your view?
This is a very good exposition. But the problem with it is that it only tells us about the past, not the (now near) future ...
Thanks for watching. Some scholars see both a near and far fulfillment, whereas others see only see a near fulfillment (such as Gentry).
But doesnt the Roman Catholic church also fit that same description?
You’re right. I stopped listening to pastors years ago. I get all my knowledge from reading the bible and letting Jesus and the holy spirit teach me.
No.
@Valhalla369 Though once popular during the Protestant reformation and for those who take the historicist approach, this view is the least defendable. Since the Book of Revelation presents itself as a source of encouragement and blessing to its original recipients, it seems unlikely that its primary focus would be the fall of an ecclesiastical institution centuries in the future. Does this interpretation not seem more tailored to the struggles of persecuted Protestants in the sixteenth century than to the challenges faced by first-century Christians?
@@leaderleader658 It’s great that you’re spending time in the Bible-that’s such an important practice! At the same time, the Bible itself emphasizes the value of learning in community, as God has given pastors and teachers to help equip and guide us (Ephesians 4:11-13). While I understand that past disappointments or negative experiences with pastors can make it hard to trust, isolating ourselves can limit our understanding and lead to misinterpretation. Even the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8 needed someone to help him understand Scripture. Pastors aren’t meant to replace your personal study but to partner with you in growing deeper in God’s Word. I’d love to pray for wisdom and understanding as you continue studying and encourage you to find faithful leaders who can walk alongside you in your journey.
Nah i’m good homie. You can listen to Kenneth Copeland or whoever you want. And tithe all the money you want into their pockets. But thanks tho!
Good summation on why Old Covenant Jerusalem was the harlot. Her physical destruction in AD70 is the outward sign that the Old Covenant ended [Hebrews 8:13 & 10:37 & 12:22 & 13:14]. Bring that good thinking home and become a Full Preterist. By the way, Dr. Kenneth L. Gentry Jr.'s writings helped me move from partial to Full. 🙂
preterist,,, thats some strange heresy for sure,,, i'd never fall for anything preterist. ,,,babylon is vatican city
@@user-yo9pv1ni6t Thank you for sharing your thoughts! It’s definitely a topic that stirs a lot of discussion among Christians. While preterism might seem strange to some, it’s important to note that there are different interpretations within eschatology, and many who hold to a preterist view do so with a sincere desire to understand Scripture faithfully. It’s also worth noting that "heresy" is a technical term used to describe teachings outside the bounds of orthodox Christian faith. While some may use it casually, it’s helpful to reserve the term for core doctrinal issues as defined by historic creeds and councils. Regarding Babylon being Vatican City, that’s a position associated with the historicist or futurist interpretation of Revelation. Others see Babylon as symbolic of a broader corrupt system rather than a specific location. These discussions are a great reminder of the richness and complexity of biblical prophecy, encouraging us to study diligently and remain humble in our interpretations. If you'd like, I can point you to some resources to explore these topics further!

All the Reformation leaders and early Protesent church believed that the little horn, also called Antichrist, man of sin, son of perdition, lawless one and the harlet that rides the beast is the papacy. He sits in the temple of God, exalts himself above God and comes in peacefully. He was given his Holy Roman Empire in 538 by emperor Justinian, and it was taken away by Napoleon in 1798. 1260 years and that great city is Rome
@WilfredMueller-zu3vs Thank you for sharing your perspective! It’s true that many early Reformers, such as Martin Luther and John Calvin, held a historicist interpretation of prophecy, identifying the papacy with the Antichrist and associating the "little horn," "man of sin," and other prophetic symbols with the Roman Catholic Church. This view was influenced by the political and religious context of the Reformation, particularly as Protestants sought to distance themselves from the abuses they saw in the medieval church. The interpretation of the 1260 years as spanning from 538 to 1798 is a hallmark of historicist eschatology, which seeks to align biblical prophecies with specific historical events, such as Justinian's decree and Napoleon's actions. However, not all Christians or theological traditions interpret these passages in the same way. Futurists, for example, see these prophecies as pointing to future events, while preterists view them as largely fulfilled in the early centuries of church history. Others, like idealists, interpret them symbolically, seeing them as timeless principles about the struggle between good and evil. While Rome has often been identified with "Babylon the Great," there are also interpretations that see Babylon as representative of any system opposed to God, not limited to a single city or institution. These different views reflect the richness and complexity of biblical prophecy. It’s fascinating to engage with these ideas and study the Scriptures deeply. If you’d like, I can share resources that explore the various perspectives on these topics!

It is unsurprisingly unfortunate that yet another church fails to understand or even acknowledge the distiiction between the two distinct events of: 1) Christ's appearing (Matt 24:30) which includes the first resurrection and rapture, occurring upon the sounding of the 7th trumpet (Rev 11:18), and 2) Christ's return as King of kings which includes the armageddon battle, capture and judgement of the beast and false prophet, and the capture and imprisonment of Satan. This occurs after the 7th bowl is outpoured! These 2 seperate and distinct events are seperated in time, the period while the bowl judgements are outpoured during which, in heaven upon the sea of glass, occurs the marriage of the Lamb. Rev 19:7 *Notice that the angel speaking with John in verse 9 is that same angel of Rev 17:1; one of the 7 angels having the (not yet outpoured) 7 bowls. Thus proving that the marriage of the Lamb occurs before the completion of the bowl judgements.
My dear friend, the two events you refer to occur one after the other, we rise up to meet the Lord in the air [1Thess.4] and return with him not long after [Rev.19] The time between the two events is uncertain, but both occur on the Day of the Lord [as do a few other things too!] so the time difference should not be too long, perhaps as little as a few hours. The first event is in 1Thess 4, the second in 2Thessalonians.
@garrymacshane9881 I have a thorough scripture study guide of some roughly 2000 words which clarifies this and many other end time events. It is available to upon request. If you are absolutely confident in the validity of your doctrine on this then what possible threat would it be for you to thoroughly investigate scripture as a Berean or every true Christian does. Or perhaps you simply favor the traditions which you were taught by men? But just a couple quick points here, in considering the bowl judgements which we agree occur between these 2 distinct events, seperated in time by some unknown duration, you suggest may be but few hours. Let's look at the 6th bowl of Rev 16:12-16. Notice that at this time the Euphrates River is dried up to make way for the kings of the east. That these kings with their massive armies travel equipped for war from the Euphrates River to the valley of Har Meggido just outside of Jerusalem. Now disregarding the other 5 previous bowls timeline completely, you are suggesting that an approaching massive army can travel from the Euphrates River to Jerusalem in just a few hours; its a 10 hr drive by road. A massive army cannot arrive at once but nust travel that distance in some convoy, presumably of some great size. This implies fhat even as the lead of it arrives at Har Meggido, following members might even still be crossing the Euphrates riverbed, it's simply logistics. That timeline is an implication of your statement, would you care to reconsider it? Not to mention that such an approaching army would most likely experience resistance from the IDF were it to remain intact in any way to this point, having already faced the various battles waging through the land of Canaan by the king of the North and the king of the South prior to the armageddon assault. You can read about this in Daniel 11. Notice that it is only after long years of this that troubling news from the east comes, see v44. Ezekiel 39 describes the people of Israel in their territory clearing from these battles the bodies of the dead for 7 months, and utilizing the destroyed equipment for a fuel source for 7 years before comes the armageddon battle and return of Christ Jesus. All this is going on leading into the beginning of sorrows with the great tribulation commencing with the abomination of desolation which is also described in Dan 11:36-37, That army from the east not even having begun to muster yet. And don't confuse this army with the demonic hoard of 200 million of the sixth trumpet in Rev 9:16 which proceeds it. How thorough is you scriptural study anyway? You mentioned the 'Day of the Lord' and I'm unsure just exactly what you mean by that, as many confuse the Day of Christ (His appearing) and the 'Day of the LORD' the outpouring of the Father's wrath in the 7 bowls. It is spoken of widely throughout the prophets, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Joel, Amos, Zechariah just to name a few. I recommend that you conduct a study of just what the 'Day of the LORD' is! I've been searching for a Verde in Isaiah which sugges5s that this 'Day of the LORD' lasts one year, but alas, it's late and I have other work to do before morning, and so I'm leaving off this search at chpt 30 and will resume it tomorrow afternoon. This is all for now.
Thank you for sharing your interpretation. While your distinction between Christ's appearing and His return as King of kings is a thoughtful perspective, it’s important to approach these eschatological details with humility. Many scholars and faithful believers hold differing views on the sequence and nature of these events, such as the timing of the rapture, the seventh trumpet, and the marriage of the Lamb. As these matters are not essential to salvation, we should handle them in a way that fosters unity rather than division within the church. Let us continue to study Scripture deeply, discuss these topics respectfully, and keep our focus on Christ’s ultimate victory and our call to be prepared for His return.
Your sky fairy does not exist
There are 2 kingdoms, a heavenly kingdom and an earthly kingdom. Jesus himself stated his kingdom is not of this earth therefore Jesus' kingdom is in heaven and will use a melchelzedek priesthood which means the king can also be the high priest. Under a melchelzedek priesthood there is only 1 sacrifice required for the removal of sin and Jesus was that 1 time sacrifice. The earth will be under the levitic priesthood where the king cant be the high priest therefore God will raise up the 2 anointed to run the earthly kingdom during the millennium. During the millennium God combines the old testament/law for holiness with the new testament/faith in Jesus for salvation so that the people on earth will be a holy and saved people.

In their approach to a possible god/gods, ALL humans developed man-made religions with man-made mythologies and man-made morals. Christianity and Islam are also man-made religion spread by humans not by god. There are two dangers and harms in that game: 1 When one man-made religion claims to be the only right one and all others are false. 2 When religions claim their man-made morals are given or inspired by a god and by that unquestionable. We never got any morals from god, we have to figure that out on our own. As a Deist I send you a lot human love.

This is why so many people don’t come to Christ. There r people right now, today, who lost their jobs due to coronavirus. The new job they have pays a lot less. They r losing their homes, cars repossessed , can’t pay their bills, and now being told, you will go thru the tribulation. Your head will be chopped off. You will see your wife & childrens heads being chopped off. Prayer won’t help you. It’s the tribulation. Deal with it. This is why the churches r empty & broke. There is no hope. But the rapture is the blessed hope.

Glad you enjoyed it!
Two people can believe that morality is objective but fundamentally disagree on what is morally right and wrong. Conversely, two people could believe morals are subjective but agree morally. Objective morality doesn't clear up the issue of moral disagreement for the same reason one cannot substantiate that objective morality exists. It is a belief one asserts and cannot be grounded in reality.
I have a question about your short on "objective" morality that perhaps you could help me with ??
Sure! How can we help?
@@mbcunhindered3260 Thanks, I'm confused when you speak of God being the source of objectivity morality, can we ground morality in "any" God or just the particular one YOU determined is the "right" one out of the many thousands man has invented ?? If your answer is the latter then in actuality its *YOU* and YOUR SUBJECTIVE OPINION that is determining morality dear. if your answer is the former, then asserting objectivity to any moral claim based upon a "God" becomes a completely vacuous useless concept
@@mbcunhindered3260 Surely theists are merely substituting their own subjective moral standards with the morals standards of the god they subjectively determine represents the "correct objective" morality. 🙄

I'm surprised at the negative intellectual misleading comments with only 2 options, where there is a 3rd option not given.God is real and what is written in the first 3 verses of revelation is self explanatory. i think you made reasonable valid case . Jesus is divine… he’s just not the almighty God
What about the dead believers being raptured mid-trib, and the living believers raptured close to the end? That way the living believers actually remain and become the welcoming delegation.
The Lamb removes the first seal in Revelation 6:1. Seven years later Jesus returns to the earth in Revelation 19.
One of the problems these days is that people are conflating "rapture" with "Second Coming." They use it interchangeably, but "rapture" has a very specific meaning, which is some kind of secret, sudden disappearance of people, and it is not the same thing at all. There is no such thing as a secret rapture, it is not supported biblically. The SC is very public, all eyes shall see, and the righteous are taken up and away WITH Jesus, not in secret. So if we are referring to the SC, then the Trib must come before that, since what would be the point of tribulation once all the saved have been taken up with Jesus?
The Key to pre-Tribulation Rapture is found in the "hidden in plain sight" prophecy given to us by Isaiah in chapter 26, the last 3 verses, and it is an exact parallel to Paul's revelation given in 1 Thess. 4:13-18 This was not his opinion, this was something given BY THE WORD OF THE LORD. (V.15) So let's look at the prophecy Isaiah gives us BY THE WORD OF THE LORD (Isaiah 26:19-21): 19Your dead will live; Their corpses will rise. You who lie in the dust, awake and shout for joy, For your dew is as the dew of the dawn, And the earth will give birth to the departed spirits. (RESURRECTION) 20Come, my people, enter your rooms (chambers) And close your doors behind you; Hide for a little while, UNTIL INDIGNATION RUNS ITS COURSE. (RAPTURE to the Chambers our LORD prepared for us! John 14:2-3) 21For behold, the LORD is about to come out from His place TO PUNISH THE INHABITANTS OF THE EARTH for their wrongdoing; And the earth will reveal her bloodshed And will no longer cover her slain. (Tribulation begins on earth, while we HIS PEOPLE are safely in those dwelling places He promised to take us to.) Isaiah 9:6, 7:14 are examples of prophecies hidden within the text of the chapters, just as 19-21 are hidden within chapter 26. I am sorry, but it is ridiculous to try and fit the Rapture at His physical coming! Let's look at chapter 24 of Matthew and you will see that we have been in heaven for the duration of the 7 year Tribulation period and we will be gathered together to come down behind our LORD at His 2nd coming. Matthew 24:29-31 29“Immediately AFTER THE TRIBULATION of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31And HE WILL SEND HIS ANGELS with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will GATHER TOGETHER HIS ELECT from the four winds, from one end of HEAVEN to the other. (So how and when did we get up to HEAVEN, so that the angels have to gather us up to come down in white horses behind our SAVIOR GOD?) May His Holy Spirit give you discernment brothers, it cannot be clearer and emphasizes as to why Paul says; "...COMFORT one another with these words." Your presentation, offers no comfort, quite the opposite!
Best not to argue Mat 24 "heavens" unless you are an expert in Koine Greek and its context. Why? Any post tribber with knowledge will inform you that "heavens" means "the aerial heavens or sky", "the region where the clouds gather"; "in general sense: as opposed to the earth"; "extreme measure of altitude / the greatest longitudinal distance"; "the universe"; "the starry heavens". In other words there are many ways you can translate this Greek word, not just as "heaven the abode of God". God would not need to "send His angels" to the third heaven to gather anyone. Context would place "heavens" to the non-third heaven realm e.g. the breadth of the earth in the universe sense would be the "heaven" in this verse. "The four winds" represent the "heaven" as the "entire earth". Even famous pretribber Thomas Ice will clearly teach you this.
@@maximaphily601 In the case of pre-Trib vs Post-Trib Matt. 24 is inconsequential as to which heaven is mentioned there, because Isaiah 26:19-21 pinpoints which Heaven we will be residing in for the duration of the Tribulation and then returning with the LORD after we are gathered by the angels from one end of Heave to the other. Exactly as revealed by Paul in 1 Thess. 4:13-18, Isaiah 26:19 prophesies the Resurrection of the believers and in Isaiah 26:20 The LORD calls us up to enter our chambers and be safe UNTIL THE INDIGNATION RUNS ITS COURSE (7 year Tribulation). So whatever Heaven contains the Chambers the LORD went to prepare for us in John 14:2-3, that is the Heaven spoken of in Matt 24. In Isaiah 26:21 The judgments upon the earth begin, which we read of throughout Revelation! The first judgement upon the earth and the god-hating masses is the coming of Antichrist, the first rider on the white horse, imitating how the LORD returns at His 2nd coming! This one found in Revelation 6 is followed by WAR, FAMINE and DEATH, the LORD is followed by His saints dressed in white! So as soon as we are raptured, the false Messiah comes. Shalom, Yeshua bless you, @maximaphily601
@@tigre659FM As I said, best not to mention "heavens" in Mat 24 as it can easily be picked apart as being a different heaven to that of John 14 etc.
@@tigre659FM Have you ever asked yourself, "why do men not believe clear scripture, and apply doctrines of men instead", when it comes to every teaching of the mainstream in eschatology. Matters not if that be church pretrib, posttrib, or any other. Test one of many I could give you, and see if you hear what the Spirit says: Rev 4:1 _I will shew thee things which _*_must_*_ be _*_hereafter_* Now apply that to, let's say, Revelation 12. Knowing clear from scripture that the birthing of the man child, and the woman symbology, is all future, nothing historical or parenthtical as doctrines of men teach.
No Rapture Jesus said those who are 'taken away' are taken away in Judgement. Flood took them away. Matt 24 same as tares and wheat parable. Tares removed.
Sorry, you are mistaken. The Hidden prophecy found in Isaiah 26:19-21 shows us that the RAPTURE Called up to Heaven, is for our SAFETY NOT Judgment, read verse 20 in that prophecy in Isaiah 26!
Just listen to the silly commentary here. Rev 3:10 clearly says "THEM THAT DWELL UPON THE EARTH". Not just in the physical location of Philadelphia. It is said: 13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. Why would that be stated if this was just for one single historic church?
AMEN!! Isaiah 26:19-21 is the same timeline that Paul uses in 1 Thess. 4:13-18 Verse 19 of Isaiah 26 is the Resurrection, Verse 20 we are called up to our chambers he went to prepare for us in John 14:2-3 and Verse 21 is the beginning of that JUDGMENT upon THEM THAT DWELL UPON THE EARTH! 7 Year Tribulation period!
@@tigre659FM We have a different eschatology, I know clearly what you say, being first trapped in the doctrines of church pretribulationism. However church pretribulationism is closer to a form of truth than the postrib or prewrath doctrines are. Unless one is willinging to really listen to wha the Spirit has to say, and be led by Him, one will always be trapped in one doctrine of man or another. I gave you Rev 4:1 earlier. If you apply that scripture, those few litte words (one of many I could give you), you cannot in all honesty place OT Israel or the Jews in Revelation 12. And there you have it. But yes, Rev 3:10 does apply to a specific group of believers who will be kept from the hour of trial, we can agree on that. Just not on WHO they are!
@@maximaphily601 Well, it is by the Holy Spirit that I found Isaiah's Prophecy about the pre-trib Rapture of His people before Judgments begin falling upon the earth. (Isaiah 26:19-21) A prophecy that outlines the exact timeline revealed by Paul in 1 Thess 4:13-18. All I have ever learned, has been by my Wonderful Counselor and NOT church doctrines. We will soon see this amazing event take place and I will be rejoicing to see you and the young sister that published this video rejoicing for having been wrong. Shalom! Yeshua bless you and all those embracing wrong teaching on this matter, may He reveal the truth to you all, simply by His Word discussed here.
@@tigre659FM Hi friend, I don't doubt your sincerety. But if I had even $1 for everyone who tells me the same thing, I would be dining with Elon Musk in the billionarie club. I don't use such language (as much as I can say it). Because it immediately gets off side the person you are communicating with to suggest that "they" lack the Holy Ghost (in fact most do, but that is another story). It puffs up pride and they see you as attempting to be some elitist "spiritually".
@@tigre659FM Hi friend, I have not stood inside a church in 40 years! That is why I don't belive in any of the doctrines of men. I've listened to so many of them, and they all mostly so, tend to deviate in one thing or another with the Word (be it believing a false doctrine of "once saved always saved", or their wide variance in eschatology).
There is no post trib rapture. If you search the Bible and understand you will find its pre trib. Firstly if you need to understand dispensation. The Church age of grace through faith ends at the rapture. We are NOT appointed to Gods wrath. AFTER the Church and the Holy Spirit is gone, you can ONLY be saved by grace through faith in believing the price Jesus paid on the cross AND the works of not taking the mark. As you wrongly said the Holy Spirit will come and go like in the Old Testament and that is why they need the 2 flying angels preaching the gospel. IF believers are still here we wouldn't need them. I could go on there are many more reasons, one of the biggest is Gods wrath or great tribulation. Read up on the Revelation seals and bowl judgements and you'll realise, the earh and 3/4 of the people will be burnt and dead. No one left to be raptured there then!! God opens eyes to those who ask!
When comparing the events of pauls view of the catching up, and that at the 2nd coming, there are CLEARLY differences! I'm mean in thes, God could simply add a couple words, like his blood dipped robes, or his fiery attitude. None of that mentioned in pauls writings. They share an angel and a trumpet. 2nd coming christ sends angels to collect the elect. No mention of.angels collecting folks in pauls writings. They just have these differences that point two separate events. Pauls described his catching up as a "secret". All ot and jews knew about the "day of the lord " and a gathering at the 2nd coming. There are CLEAR differences that makes me think there is a "church" age catching up.
Rapture is pre-trib. Can't twist anything to go with your beliefs. Our beliefs must go with God's word. Pre-trib has been taught ever since the old testament. God does not change.
Hi friend, while I in part agree with you, what do you mean by "since the old testament" exactly?
If you want to go on his word, then you'll accept there's no pre trib. Yes the saved rise and those alive will meet them in the air but look at Rev 20 and see when those in Christ rise, it's After the final event on this earth which is the mark. That's when those alive will be caught up with them, not before. There isn't one verse that says he returns before tribulation, in fact it says After. People just read certain verses and Assume it means a pre rapture, Noone ever taught one in scripture.
@@closerlookatprophecy6078 All depends which scriptures you lean on. The Roman Catholic approved versions, or the ones that have proven lineage to those first called Christians at Antioch. I agree, you will get very different eschatology based on which! Little point anyone debating eschatology until they use the correct scriptures.
@@maximaphily601 the roman catholic church happens to be the 1st beast of Rev. 13. I have proof of this on my playlists. And u can't separate the rapture from the resurrection for the saved, and Rev 20 says that happens after the final crisis on this earth. (The mark) then the saved rise and those alive will meet them in the air. Not before.
@@closerlookatprophecy6078 As I said, you are relying of R C approved literature, so you get the result you do!
