A real shell stopper V2 1.3 shells
I've been wanting to do this test every since we did the 1.4 shell test last year. A 4" 1.3 shell vs the $70 silt fence, who will win? Well, watch and see, I think you all will be very surprised!

We decided to shoot a 1.4 60g shell with a 62mm shell and a NOAB shell at the same time to see the difference in the height between the three. Results are for your viewing pleasure. I was just looking for a 62mm vs noab good stuff.. edit . Thinking the noab takes it it has better bigger breaks and it has the most height

3 years ago, I bought 2 racks from a local fireworks store and I fused 12 cannister shells for together for the first time ever. It was for my finale so I used quick fuse for all 12 and I put the slow fuse on the beginning of it about 18" long so I had time to get away. I also did what other videos showed which was use duck tape to cover the top fuse for safety. It all went off perfectly. So I appreciate these information videos very much. love your different style of racks to put a great variety in shows when firing them.
One year I tried the fast fuse and we had to relight the party a few times

Yes. A good weld will be stronger than the base metal. The pipe (or plug) should rupture before the weld breaks

So, if it stopped the 1.3 shells, would you say it should have no issue stopping 1.4 consumer stuff? I'm really thinking of getting this as another layer of safety/precaution.
Please look on the channel for the video, a real shell stopper from a year or so ago. Maybe 2 years ago. I did this very same test with 1.4.

What material is that fence , ive seen 1.3 shells blow straight through plywood
It is a porous fabric, you see it at every construction site or when there is road work. I know the plywood test is one that has been demonstrated at some PGI classes. Now, they can show something that will drastically slow down a big shell.

Why are you shooting canister shells out of a steel mortar rack for? 62mm ball shells whole different story when comes to power and destruction, but why would you do this? Not smart at all
It's an aluminum metal rack, and I did it for test purposes, as mentioned in the video. The test proved that it holds up to a 60g canister shell cato. Proving it is perfectly safe to use with DR11 and 60g canister shells as well as of course, 62mm shells, which did basically nothing to the rack.
Good times! Glad you got that sunset it was ridiculous! This was my first year at WinterBlast and it was a lot of fun! Can’t wait for next year!

Finally. There are almost no videos comparing NOABs to shells. Not sure that’s worth the difference between $3 a shot and $10 a shot.
NOAB's are definitely not worth what they cost, not even close.

60's were on the left, NOAB in the middle and 62's on the right. However, there was a breeze skewing it slightly for sure.
