@@cortstew no problem man! I’m still learning as I go as well 😅. There are a few more too, such as the CUR series. I honestly think the SAR is the best though. Even better than the recent batch of WASR 10v2/WASR 3. The SAR 3 also comes with a 90 degree gas block, mag dimples as you mentioned, and the chrome lined barrel whereas the recent WASR 3 does not.

That’s insane how long these pickups run! Personally, I’d trust them more than a Toyota

I really like my JPC. Definitely recommend it whenever people ask about upgrading plate carriers. Some of my buddies run the K19 and it seems pretty solid, but I like to buy American whenever possible!

I see what you mean, it’s one of those things that’s pretty relative. Going from a full sized rifle to the MP5 feels like nothing but going from airsoft or a brand new shooter would be surprised by the jolt

@@MaxTheNostalgic I never claimed I didn’t have a 10/22, I just claimed I didn’t have many Ruger parts. It’s a platform that allows for easy and fun modification to fit most shooter’s wants.

@@cortstew it’s all good what I’m trying to say is: after you change most of the gun parts it cannot be called a Ruger 10/22 anymore in my opinion. You can call it a 10/22 platform but it’s not a real Ruger anymore. I must say you said it well concerning the reason why it’s been so successful in the past 60 years is not only because of the rotary magazine but also because it’s a semi-automatic and so in order to make it reliable and jam-free you need to separate the cartridges from one another in order to cycle those little things. Ruger did it first in 1964

@@MaxTheNostalgic Technically you are correct, but, that is not how it is perceived in the 10/22 community.If you read and listen you will find most are talking about their Ruger 10/22 even if there is very little or no Ruger parts in it. What is meant is that it is a basic Ruger 10/22 design and platform, nothing to do with where and who made the parts. The same goes fir AR15, 1911 pistol and some other platforms. You are just going to break your head about it without achieving anything.

@@FeelmyFondue military thrift stores are great! The USAF has the airman’s attic and the army usually has a warrior zone. I used to go through our airman’s attic about once a week and look for deals!
