Am just going to put up videos from my drone of things of interest. I ride my Suzuki DR with my drone, try and get remote somewhere and put up the bird.
So let's see where this goes.

Mokau Coastline ( New Zealand )
stopped here to have a look at the coastline here just south of Mokau.
Was actually a calm sea , have seen it much more wild with big swells.

Had made a previous video of this but i think people were not able to see it. This time i have used a spotlight effect. So the first part of the video i show the strange thing with the bubble effect, the second part of the video without.

I have never seen flooding like that in my years of driving over that road
yup ten years ago that was . i I think from memory another time or maybe that time i was stuck on mt messenger for hours because of a massive slip.
I remember when all the city buses had a Detroit two stroke in them. That sound was so common.
really that would have been excelent
So basically a big bud motor in a generator

In Canada we call them screaming demons

Great to see something different
Glad you enjoyed cheers mate
Love every one
Had to sell my house truck Roaming SPIRIT for health reasons
thats not good mate you ok
Up here in America only the enthusiastic guys keep the Detroits alive. Glad you fellas down under have kept the Detroit diesel legacy alive!
Excellent thanks for watching
Screaming Detroit diesel engines are pure industrial duty work engines. Pure mechanical music.
yes ya cant get a better sound from a machine
Way more drama than real. Give me a break.
ahahahahahha i know was a bit exciting!!!
Stunning.
Thank you! Cheers!
16V92?
sure thing
Beast!
sooo is
I need one of these in my back yard, so when I'm feeling a little down, it can cheer me up by doing what a Detroit does best- Convert fuel into noise
gawd i reckon !!! and all the smoke !!!
Amen brother
Let me sing you the song of my people.
💯💯👍👍👍🤝🤝🤝
cheers mate
Is this a generator? Or a propulsion unit for something? I'm seeing it in a conex, but the box has fans and the like, so it has me wondering what it's purpose is.
its a generator for back up. maybe an outage of power this generator can be bought in to power up while maintainence is completed.
seriously annoying music
lol sorry there buddy, someone else said something similar. I'll definitely try harder next time.
Yeah mate i couldn't believe it. But i couldn't actually see the drone so my own fault
Selective clearing stripped bear
That's the idea .it's private land. So will possibly go back into grass.👍🏼
Excellent music. Thank you.
cheers mate
@@paullacy25 no worries bud...!
Its plantation forest being harvested, thats what it was planted for.
Far out, that wire was close!!

Awesome video bro, get out there and make some more old man, hahaha lol
That's the plan! Cheers
A famer with a sense of humour should name his farm Salad. Then this would be Salad dressing...
sorry for late reply. But yes that humour would work.

Cold-natured as hell.

16-71T?
yes
I bought a new 350 Detroit in a freightliner in 1973. Scream the loudest, promise the most, & deliver the least. I still like to here them run.
A man who actually drove one
You just forgot to slam your hand in the door getting in
Yea back in the day guys would say theyd start to slow down when you could see the hill coming up ,but they were a big part of history was a shitload of them around
that sound
shell make powaa!
lol !!!
"staht er up brotha" ! Classic....
yup we really loved cranking that Detroit
1930’s technology that was so good, the only thing that killed them was tight emissions Regs!
Yup so true !!
Fuel burn at full load is 92 gallons/hr.
Love it !!
I worked on a tow boat with two of these on the Mississippi River in the USA. I was a deckhand and we slept in rooms that were next to them on the next level. When you first got on you couldn't sleep because of them and after a couple of days if they shut down you would instantly wake up.
roy gunter farout that must have been some tow boat
Know the feeling. USAF watercraft Tyndall AFB. 80-86
Yup worked on tugs for years Detroit powered only way l could sleep on land was with tv static.
Truth. They had three on the fishing boat Qualifer 105. I sleep instantly to the detroit diesel symphony, though.
It is amazing what we can become "used to" and ignore. I afraid the rising generation knows nothing about tolerating accomodating and moving on. I used work for the US Forest Service many years ago. When fire fighting we did what had to be done when it needed to be done. Sometimes that meant being up for more than 24 hours working. Not fun not desirable but sutuation required a couple times.
How to turn copious amounts of diesel fuel into smoke and noise
love it right
The video guys giggle ever time it cranks lol. Gawd does that thing ever sound like it is a run away. Got to be 3600rpm screamer
soving 3,000
Doubt it's over 2800 sounds like 2100 constant duty
Yes a bit exciting i must say!!!
I really like when the cooling fan kicks in. Nice Sound of the Cat Engine
yeah sounds good!!!
600 likes! Just started a rebuilt 16cyl today haha
I would like to try silicon nitride bearings in my 8v92 2 stroke turbo bond rebuild time. Mine just had the stock tool steel bearings and I’m running BRP-XD-100 with a touch of amsoil interceptor 2T. That shit works great. It’s got a garret turbo that darn near spins forever it flick it by hand. I aimed a leave blower at it when it was not running and I could hear it mske that jet engine wine.
excelent mate. A late reply i know but how did you get on ?
1600 iron pony's 👍👌
So true!!!
They are great but noisy and finicky to get doing these two stroke Detroits.
Yup from what i could tell they are a challenge !
If you're going to go that big just go all the way and use an electromotive 745 16
Sounds good !!!
I can think of a few greedy fucking real estate developers who need this in their driveway at 6am
Ahahahaha so true excelent !!!
okay F Me .... my heart skipped more than a few... thats some amazing flying.
Neville Rodrigues I know I’ve been up a couple of times a bit exciting
so like you are telling me he gets paid for doing all this ?
Yup of course ✅
@@paullacy25 unfortunately not many views for some really amazing flying ... these Flying Cowboys and Bush Pilot guys should be all over these "runways" ...not that i know much ... but these videos give me joy. THANK YOU
Just another day at play for an NZ topdressing pilot.
