I notice that some of these impressions are in pairs of characters for both Skinner and Chalmers so it would be really funny if one of the impressions is of Xavier Renegade Angel and BOTH of them are Xavier (as a reference to the phone booth gag where two Xaviers argue with each other)

Some important context is that the Japanese PTA was on a particularly anti-manga mission in the mid 00s. A few years after Sonic X, they got Bobobo anime canceled despite their complaints only applying to the manga. So the stuff about role models & violence was very much what they were hearing

Idk if they legally can, but I wish they would do a new english dub of Sonic X that includes some of the original cast (like Jason) in addition to some of the newer cast, add back in most of the jokes from the Japanese version, and add back in the deleted scenes. Also it would be copl if they allowed the cast to improve too. We were robbed of such a good english dub/show.

They didn't cut much from the dub, and it's one of the MOST accurate translations for it's time. being translated from japanese to english by Tezuka productions, with alterations being written during recording in Wisconsin. Edits overseen and aproved by Tezuka himself.
