I love the escape room format, and I think it could work for both challenges and bannings in the coming season(s).

What if you gave each of the elimination games a cryptic name - and whoever is voted into to banning has to choose from the list of what banning they want. It allows people to choose what they *think* is best for them, but maybe they want to keep something theyre really good at on the wheel in case they get chosen against someone else.

What's the schedule on these? It feels like they come out really slowly.

Please do these closer to the end of the show next season. It would be much more exciting and would probably get you a lot more views even if the actual videos were lower effort.

How is buying non-shop items from a shop not treated the same way as picking up dropped items from other players is? I love Settled no doubt, but I honestly see no difference here. Its a loophole. Not forbidden in the rules but in the end the fact is: These are items from other players. And im 100% sure you will add a rule next time to prevent this, because now everyone knows now you can do this and the possibility to cheat is there. My question is: Why are you not talking about this at all? Was honestly very interested to hear your opinion on this when i clicked on this video.

Not sure how possible this is, but something to help with lopsided challenges could be prepping 2-3 challenges per week. A LOT more work, but then you can give the choice to "someone" for the final challenge. This way, they can choose between a "pvp challenge, brain teaser, game knowledge" challenge, or something.

Watching Dino kill ducks while hooti solves the room is all I needed. No chance it could have been better with other players.

Just because it ended up being one sided or not as exciting as two other stronger players who maybe do have escape room experience doesn’t mean it wasn’t a success. The poison was crazy but it was solvable, just low chances due to the pressure. I hope to see it return! Good work as always Soup.

Team escape room has potential

I understand you don't want to last-minute change which challenge goes into which episode, but perhaps if you have an escape room next season, you should plan it as an elimination in episode 6 or later, just to make sure there is a much higher chance to get an elimination between two more experienced players.

Yes! Please bring back the escape room! It was really exciting to watch and I had a lot of fun trying to figure it out along with the contestants. I would love to see this as a whole challenge in season 5

I think it has potential as a double elimination - two teams of two would give great conversation and players talking it over with each other would lower the chances of them getting stuck. I also like the idea of an escape room challenge instead of elimination.

Oh right the escape room. Please dont do that again unless its really good. A lot of runescape escape rooms are actually not good at all. Itd be lame to see another bad one.

A thing you could throw into an early round is something to the effect of the more of a veteran you are, the amount of seasons you've been in, the steeper the challenge is whether that's additional "debuffs" or something like an escalated sabotage that is worse the more seasons you've been on. Something to level out the playing field for newer competitors in the first episode or two could really shake up who gets to the end.

I think an interesting twist for the gp challenge would be to have the second place earner win. So if you earn the most, you lose the most points that round or something to that effect. Everyone always goes so hard with their money making, but what if they weren't fighting for 1st place?

Hey Stefan, when you were talking about the big team vs big team aspect, specifically how the formation of the teams took place and the controversy of whether you influenced the show or not, it made me think of a show I watched recently. They had an interesting way of forming two big teams from a large group of contenders. A previous challenge had led to 2 individuals being selected. Those 2 individuals then formed a team each and took turns selecting a contender to join the OTHER team, until every contender was picked. This way you don’t have the “was picked last at PE” form of bullying or the “I will pick my friends for my own team”. Each of the two players will pick contenders for the other team they think would benefit their team the least. I thought it was a great way of doing this, creative and refreshing. Just wanted to let you know should you need it for the next season, which I can’t wait to be released!

A moneymaking-esque challenge where the pvp'ers skills are more relevant would be cool. Like they could go into 'debt' for gear they have to risk or something.

I loved the escape room challenge mainly because I could try figure it out myself at home same way you say people love "giliguesser", one question unrelated to this episode but the season as a whole is why wasn't Verf invited? he's already proven to be a champion and has a big fanbase

Also, I would love to see an early team elimination that involves PKing more.....maybe 8 versus 8 and 6 people from each team have to run something towards an objective and the 2 PKers have to try and PK or stall/entangle the whole way. This would allow for showcasing some of these skillsets in a more dynamic challenge.....still teams where not everyone has to PK, but those that are good at it can showcase their "role". As a viewer, I have no idea if Dino is good at Pking or not except being told such.

I think an escape room challenge would be hype much later in the season. More pressure, more built up. This early it did feel like a little bit of a waste or lost a bit of epicness something like this would have. If a season is going to have 12 episodes, putting it in episode 8-10 would feel about right. I also absolutely want to have a team escape room either ironman style or where a team is all on coms together and they each have to do a leg of the escape room.

I do think the poison was OP, but at least now I understand the decision and agree with it. Probably a compromise by just giving them more hp (or more food somehow like 10 purple sweets or something) would have been pretty great. Dino dying without eating at all was kind of a shame.

I did like the idea that they were poisoned for the escape room challenge, but getting chunked for 4 each time made the timer too short. If you could have somehow tweaked so they were getting hit 1s, it might have worked a little better.

An interesting idea for an escape room challenge, is players being in a teams of two, and theyre both in different areas and progressing in one gives clues for the other.

this episode was the best because escape rooms in OSRS are the coolest content ever. More of that please.

One thing that would help me out as a watcher is adding a photo headshot of the players (if they are typically on camera in their own content), their signature icon or what they are know for under their name (like Swampletics/Tileman for Settled) while they are doing the confessionals or shown on screen. I know a lot of these players but it can be hard to recognize whos who when you don't see them like you normally, then also trying to learn new players you aren't familiar with and trying to follow each persons thoughts and adventure through the game can be a bit challenging/confusing. Hope that makes sense

An interesting money making challenge could be "Picking Pennies": 1) each item can only be sold once, for stackables only a single one, items like pyramid top can only be used once. 2) items can't be acquired by monster drops 3) ge can only be used to sell items, shops are unaffected. Essentially a challenge that forces each contestant to figure out the most gp item spawns or creation methods in a limited time. Instead of one guy for 40 mins doing the same method, we see how many different methods they can do

If you do a season where an eliminated player comes back again, an escape room would seem on theme for that.

IDK how you bring it back but I would love for you to bring back the Escape Room in some way. After they started I paused it and tried to figure out the method myself. I figured out Barbarian Firemaking for the torch and that sack was the pin, but got stumped on how to get money for a vial even after I let it run a bit and they looked at their quests.

What about the mechanic carrying on with the person in the banning continuing to choose who they go against, but instead the person chosen gets to choose from a pool of challenges which gets smaller as the season goes along? Might make it even more chaotic?

Feedback: Throwing strategically is awesome, throwing for the laugh is not (like boaty has done). Also escape room as an early challenge so you can see lots of perspectives would be excellent

just a random idea - what if going into a future GG team challenge the winner of the previous challenge get to choose either to select their teammate(s) and all the other teams will be randomized, or they get a random teammate(s) and get to assign the rest of the teams

The poison idea made the escape room 100x worse and actually detracted from the excitement. I also completely disagree that one person knowing the UI quirk of using a menu to prevent damage would have made for a cool moment. It would have made for a boring stomp of an elimination, or with both players knowing it, an irrelevant component of the challenge. Poison adds time pressure to what is already a race, i.e. something which is at its core a time pressured event without the pointless 'you die lol' mechanic.
