Not worth it unless this would be a training session for a Hawaii trip. Manhattan is a bit smaller so maybe the shape is holding up. This place can be fun at doh but everything has to be perfect

Beginner, surfing both coasts of Florida. Not expensive at all, super stable, and I’ve been able to wax mine with regular wax. Would recommend it for anyone looking! 🤙

Does this board work for paddle boarding or would you only recommend for surfing

Thanks for the video mate, all the way from the south coast of the UK. I've been riding a catch surf8ft log and I absolutely love it's amazing but I've just about got the basics of going down the line, I really like board and read its got loads of volume, reckon this is a good step down to process ?

Will Rogers...lol. The tropical Hurricane swells hit south facing beaches best not west facing. Malibu to Pt. MUGU is where the biggest and best waves are. Lol.

So nice to just hear the sounds of the ocean instead of some crappy music.

Great video! Im starting to learn this month. Got my 8ft soft top and wetsuit. Will rogers is a big stretch, at what location/lifeguard towers u surf at?

Love the "costco special" i lived on Oahu and surfed some really big waves on the 8ft version. Super easy to paddle Can catch anything small or large Safe if you are a beginer No one is going to steal it. I recomend you also surf regular boards fun size 7ft and short boards they are way more satisfying.

I just ordered a Wavestorm for the great lakes waves. Doesn't come close to the ocean waves but hopefully I can get something at least.

On the waves on the inside. Turn your board to the beach and sit on it with your weight on the tail of the board. The drag will allow the white water to go around you. You get pushed in a little but you conserve tons of energy and stay in control. On the outside waves turtle your board. Grab it near the nose roll over and pull down on the nose. When the wave passes roll back over onto your board and paddle. Before you get in the water stretch out and count the sets. Know the number of waves in the set and frequency they come in. It will allow you to make smart decisions.
