This year Super Bowl LI took place in Houston, Texas, the home of NASA and Astronaut Training. It was a good occasion for us to get to know more about this game and its rules. For curcuit 2 we chose 5 activities, which addressed all areas of the body. Hereby we went from past to presence, doing exercises we learned at the beginning of our space mission and lately exercised ones. This was climbing at wall bars, jumping jack, somersaults, bear crawl and crabwalk and last but not least PEAKE LIFTOFF!

Aerobic exercise can be contrasted with anaerobic exercise. The two types of exercise differ by the duration and the intensity of training and oxygen levels. Astronauts practice aerobic activities like swimming, walking and running regularly. Medicine balls can be used for anaerobic training to strengthen the muscles. Zumba is the name for a dance fitness program created in Colombia. It combines aerobic and different dance styles. One doesn´t follow standardized movements but follows the flow of the music.
