My Glass Room | Creative Upcycling with Glass Objects
Oh yes thanks for sharing your beautiful work ❤
Super mooi❤ Kan ik de vaas ook als bloemenvaas gebruiken, dus met water er in?
@@anjaijzendoorn3532 yes, the vases are sealed by three layers of polyurethane and waterproof
What do u use to glue?
@@martinitang Hi, I use a watered down PVA glue…50/50, cheers Joy
Just went from the glas vases video over to that one. I have never seen something like that. Just taken away trying to look through the glas while your camera goes over it. Would love to do someting like that. However, too early I just watched the video. All that information has to sink in. Too early to think about trying to mimic something like that. You are really an amazing artist. I need to re-watch this over and over again. Since all of this room is sooo well thought cosy, light and comfortable. I am really blown away by this room. What a great masterpiece. Thank you for sharing.
@@asfasty9724 such kind comments, it’s my fav place to sit…my happy place
@@joybellart4727thank you for your response, yes, looks like a super happy place. I think I could not get up anymore to do other stuff... :-D - still thinking where i could install something alike - I am thinking about the garden... my cats might love it - maybe a rounded shape - have a herb spiral - ah well so much inspriation - thank you and stay safe and healthy
Great instructions with beautiful results!
I’ve just discovered you tonight. I love your creativity. Such an inspiration and a natural teacher. I have to ask… why have stopped all media. ? I hope you’re well. Healthy and happy
@@AnAlbertaGirlAtHeart so appreciate your thoughts…I’ll be back in April, I’m happy and healthy but my grandson (4) has had a liver transplant and his mum does the vids for me, we all live on the same plot of land. Love Alberta.
@ Thankyou for your reply. I pray your grandson has a speedy recovery to health and happiness. Strength for all of you as he heals and grows. I look forward to seeing that he you’re back at it in the spring 😁 or… your autumn. I really admire your quirky art pieces and I love playing with found glass into art projects on discarded antique windows. I’ve always wanted to try a concrete/mosaic chair and seeing you use polystyrene was a major ahh ha moment. I imagined using straw bales for the form but your method makes more sense. Anyway… I’ll be watching the rest of what you’ve posted and anticipating more. Thanks again and Take care.
I’m feeling so inspired by your work! It’s lovely
Beautiful work!!
Lindo de mais. Apesar de não entender seu idioma ,mesmo assim consegui entender como se faz estes belos jarros. Obrigado por compartilhar. Jesus lhe abençoe.❤
Excellent video!
I like another adult with a "child-like" imagination. I am a creative, curious, grown man who allows his inner child out to play often. I love making, baking, cooking, and creating with my hands using all sorts of materials and food. I am glad I found your channel. Lovely idea and like some say in California, USA totally Awesome! Thank you, Joy, this is great! Peace and love!
Fabulous!
You are absolutely amazing woman
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩😘😘😘😘

Just discovered you, i love your positivity, you're "can do, get on with it" attitude!! Thank you : ))
Thank you so much from South of France for the inspiring ideas !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Much love to you
I love these so much. I'm searching now to try to make one of my own .
Don’t use newspaper, if you can use a silicone mat just an old silicone mat. But if you only have a newspaper, then go for it.
So glad to have found your channel! Thank you for sharing so many techniques. I've wanted to incorporate textiles forever, but didn't know how. So much to learn here!💖💖💖
@@laurieedgehill2887 brilliant!
Wonderfully! I am retired and I am trying to do reverse decoupage but I don't know what to use over Mica Powder, what liquid is it, please help me.
@@esmakacar7998 hi, I pour in spirit based polyurethane …then pour it out, three times…dried well imbetween pours. You can’t brush it on. I’ve tried acrylic ( water based) poly and it leached thru the images with a dirty stain. Good luck
Well I found you, I think what you do is wonderful I can't wait to get started & try this.
Scaring children and drunks is also one of my joys in life. Very clever way to do it!
Amazing, thank you. I have been shopping sublimation machines for plates for my art… very skeptical and not happy with the result. THIS could be an answer. Thank you, Joy!
you are such a queen and joy to watch!! you explain everything so easily, I can't wait to make something like this in my home one day :)
I would love to see a tour of your art studio, your house and your yard. I see a little bits and pieces of it in the background in your videos and in the very beginning of the videos.
@@KMF3 when I get back into the vids I will run around the house, gardens and studio to update everyone, cheers Joy
😂 love how you find all kinds of objects to decoupage.
Fabric is one of my favorite things to decoupage because of how easy it is to get a smooth finish, can move around easily, and it soaks up the glue so well that when it is stuck down it is rock solid. The thickest material I have used was a very heavy upholstery fabric. I just soaked it with watered down glue and it was perfect.
I'm watching this again to prepare for some of my own reverse decoupage jars as I am healing from an ankle break
I just love your art space 🤩
I've noticed you're not making any new videos in the last year. I hope that you're okay.
@@KMF3 thanks for the concern, all good here and continuing as I was, my only grandchild who lives on the property is four and has had a liver transplant in Feb, he was on the waiting list for a year before that. His mum does all the vids and I don’t even own a phone so I have been reliant on her. Eli should be going to school in April when he turns five and we will resume vids then, I also want to start on Instagram and have a ‘proper’ shop on my website…so still have the passion and plans. Cheers Joy
@@joybellart4727 prayers for your grandson to be healed. So glad you are all able to live together and help each other out.
Can you alternatively paint the inside of the jars with gold paint instead of the nova and mica powder?
I don't see why not
Qual tipo de papel foi utilizado?

I just found your channel. I know that I am late to the party, but I’m so happy to be here. I love your mold and mother mold tutorials, especially. You make things uncomplicated. I like that. Did you create your own monkey head mold or did you purchase it somewhere? I would love to have that mold if it is one that is for sale somewhere please tell me how to get it. Love your creativity! Thanks so much for sharing your art.
Your creativity is incredible, inspirational and unique! Thanks for sharing your techniques. By the way your bodyguard's new outfit looks 👍🏼 😅
Absolutely stunning, i have never seen these techniques, and your work is stunning 😍

May God continue to bless him with renewed health and wellness!! 🤗 I plan to try some of your techniques this week on my YT channel and will watch for more of yours. 😍
What an inspiration! I am eager to try one. In addition to learning the techniques, it was most helpful to learn where to purchase some of the lovely, vibrant images that you use!!😍
Gorgeous!!
I’d like to have seen the window from the outside too.
I Love your space and I understand what you mean about your view. It looks like neighbors are out front and so it gives you more privacy with rays coming in colors that enhance your chakras. Bravo!
OMG, this blew my mind away, now I will be spending all weekend. Watching your video's thank you Joy. love from over the pond in Oz.
I just found this fabulous tutorial. I love it but since I am new to reverse process, I am wondering could we add water to the vase for flowers or is this purely decorative? Thank you in advance
@@monalisa2114 hi, thanks for your kind thoughts. The final pour (s) of clear polyurethane at the end will seal the vase and I have tested this but I still prefer to add a liner ( eg. plastic drink bottle with the end cut off ) just to be sure, cheers Joy
