Buzz Evans "Somewhere Over The Rainbow"
Definitely one of the best guitar players that ever existed!!!!
Thumbs… Did anybody ever tell him he’s playing the guitar the hard way?
Oleeee los grandes Maestros de la guitarra
Just one of the absolute best ever!
I was the guitarist in my high school jazz band in the mid 80's... we played Killer Joe too... crazy, of course we were amateur hour compared to this...
Oh man 😎
Intense! 😎
This is fucked
Rates with all of the greats including Paco !
about as good as it gets on c6th with quite a flair
De sala de conciertos al populacho, la guitarra no estaba reconocida para conciertos, hasta que gente como Joaquín Rodrigo sirvieron de inspiración para Paco de Lucia y los Romero y otros tantos...
Un señoron de la guitarra...
😮
Pepe and La Wonderful : the all time reference.
Caramba esse Kara e de outro mundo como aprendeu assim estudou com quem aprendeu sozinho queria pegar aula com ele toco de cabeça pra baixo kkk muito top ele
From the time I first became aware of him, I've always said Emmons was the best non-classical musical virtuoso the US ever had. Maybe the world. This clip only reinforces that opinion.
in Indonesian language we said "NGERI"..... also mean speechless
I recon Phil was a genius at playing a guitar.
Buzz, are you still performing?
Other worldly, I could see the late jeff beck cover this.
Another fabulous Emmons classic!!
Heavenly performance!!!!
Sublime
God Bless you Buzz, We love you man.
He's got some advanced crazy B bender hooked to a pedal for his Peavey. Anyone know what it is and how he used as a whammy and b bender?
Dang that Peavey sounds good!
Jos Lano’s version of Two For The Road is extraordinary. The delicate and nuanced chords/arrangement is unparalleled..Thank you Joe Lano…
Que pocos genios ay ahora como este don pepe
Cool video Earl. Cuz.
Buzz is the cat!!!!
When I first heard Keith, I couldn't believe how great his playing was and I think that was in the '80s.
Beautiful....
What the heck is the whammy type effect pedal control he's using with his left foot???
He is the standard to emulate...
Beautiful version. Buzz I survived my indentured servitude with the state and went to Colorado. Hope you are well. Greg.
Somebody told me about Thumbs about 45 years ago, but never heard him till now!
Hey Earl cool video. Take care.
Awesome chords make that song stand out when Buzz plays his interpretation of "Over the Rainbow!"
incredible! thank you for posting
Great...
..............................I got huthin...
Champ!
Is he tuned to E flat major? What was his special tuning?
I believe you're correct.
I worked with you. Buz Maybe you remember. Carol. Rose. Your so. Great
Just love the way Phil played.
So lovely, with some ache, wonder, pain, amazement, deep respect, all for a hardly known man of sensational individual ability and creativity to actually shock and stun. This is uniquely excellent, radiant, rewarding. Kenneth Carllile remains a wonder, and we shouid not let him fade, ever.
Bravo!!
in 100 years if youtube is still a thing people will still come to listen to this
Bright. Snappy...
Freedom of expression. He plays exactly how HE interprets. Brilliant!
