Tribute song for John Prine by songwriter Dennis Callahan
What a great piece of footage from Mr Carey. Without wanting to doing old, this has to be early to mid 80’s ?! Great that you kept this, Kevin.
This is a Sad Song for what happened 😢
OMG , he was hilarious back in the day. "Hello is that Shoe" !!
What no subtitles...the sound is crap!
Miss you my Pal. God have Mercy on your Beautiful soul. and I Ask this in Jesus Holy Name. R.I.P. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
Always love John prine
It is now 2023 but the voices of John Prine, Philip Donnelly (The Clontarf Cowboy) and all the Irish crew Are great to hear.
RIP, Briliant
The great Martin Caffrey used to enjoy his singing back in the day what a voice, hard to believe he was part of the audience in most singalong pubs and would get up and make the night.
❤️👍❤️
Traitors still live amongst us . I fear that will always be the case.

Love John Prines Music .Its beautiful straight from his heart..NEVER get tired of JOHns music.,love it.
Wife and I were sitting last Sunday Eve no TV no Kids or Grandkids guess we were having an empty nest moment not saying much. Grabbed the remote applied the verbal command and John had us smiling and conversing in no time. We were blessed to know his music and wit. Saw him at a concert near Pittsburgh Pa a few years past. They say when you pass all you have are your memories. I Hope So.
Smoking a cigarette that's 5 miles long
God rest you, John Prune.

Does anyone know the name of the first song that John Prine sang? I’m kind of new to his music; it was a beautiful song. The song that Phil sang - “Danger, Danger” - was recorded by the Everly Brothers for their 1984 album “EB84”.

Lee Clayton song.
Ho amato John Prine, dal primo momento. R.I.P. Amico mio, Ti ascolterò sempre.
Can anybody tell me the make/name/type of the guitar Philip is playing on this track
The acoustic/ electric is an Ovation made in Connecticut. It has a carbon fiber(I think) bowl- shaped back. Forget the model but it's their top if the line. They also made unique looking solid body electrics: the Preacher and the Deacon(again if I remember)
@@dennishickey7194 Thank you Dennis, Philip makes it sound so SWEET , pity I missed his last Kilkenny Gig, RIP to both of them
