During the 1840s the Caldwell family fortune declined, lead...

Passed this by boat earlier and wondered what it was - thanks for explaining
What a lovely tune would someone let me know the name please.
The building with the track control levers is now a shed on our farm
At 3:42 Is that the County Care home?
Shouldn't been closed
I've learnt so much since watching your videos. Great part of Fermanagh history. Thank you for doing this. I had no idea that some of the original track bed was a road.
Amazing 😮
My Great Grandfather's brother Archie Burns was Station master, he lived and worked there in Belcoo.
This is exceptional. Drivers and workers from the steam era are exceptionally rare. It's wonderful to get such a detailed recall as your interviewees can give us captured now on youtube for ever. Well done.
Hi there have you the video of when the bbc filmed when a miniature railway ran on it,,
Lovely 😍 🇮🇪☘️💚
Lovely 😍🇬🇧🍀💙
Good song 1996? Interesting to see how was that city 1 week after I was born. I am Finn.
Wonderful little film lads, but its still a shame that the whole county doesn't have a single piece of railway line in it.
All this is very well researched
This place has always fascinated me. With the bridge being restored by the DfI, I wonder what the property footprint around the bridge actually is. I explored into the woods one time and was amazed that the wooden platforms still exist. Are there any recent exploration photos of the 3rd platform that is mentioned in the film?
We live there it’s great!!!
Enniskillen has expanded now. Mostly the vegetables we grow in the beautiful green fields make us known for who we are
Best place I have ever had my hair cut several times. Fascinating.
I could not be more excited at finding this! My great grandmother, Mary Lunny (née Higgins) was crossing keeper here, as recorded in the 1901 Irish Census. Her husband William Edwin Lunny was a plate layer gangsman for the SLNCR. My grandfather, John Francis Lunny, was born in 1900, and he and his family lived in this crossing-keeper's house. Lovely video, both ancient photos and modern drone footage. Thank you!!
Steam nostalgia at its very best. Thankyou Alan and Headheadhunters.
Superb channel lads, just popped up on my feed this week. Some fantastic content.
Nice to see the traffic moving in Enniskillen. A rear sight nowadays
That was short and sweet !
Fermanaghin 1971
Thanks for this. My old hometown of Garrison looks amazing. A lovely little document of the time.
Ronan hey , Keon family ring a bell ? My Grandmother's home
@@pjac317 Yes! My grandmother was Keown from Killymor.
Just like the other footage of Enniskillen, all these snippets of different areas and villages, might have seemed boring and banal to viewers of the time. However, those who recorded this footage would never have guessed how amazing, delightful, fascinating and captivating this would be half a century later.. Fantastic..
