Such a damn shame about the mediocre story. I can deal with the subpar combat system, but I really wish they’d done something more with the story, there is just so much potential. I can’t say I had any issues with the saving system though. I even transferred my save files over to my Steam Deck and it worked just fine, so I’m not sure what’s happening with your save files.

@@sktalksgames I played it on ps5. I saw the game had so many autosave files so I did manual saves only 1-2 times. I was at the underground city chapter after the explosion scene and I exited after that because I saw the game doing autosave. The next night I was going to play it… all the autosaves were disappeared!!! There were only my 2 manual saves left. It was the save at the sewer chapter, still in the prisoner outfit. So I had to play it all over again… 🥲

Oh damn that sounds very painful. I had no issues on PC so maybe it's a PS5 specific problem.

I had fun with it too on the easy difficulty. I really struggled with the higher ones so I've had to stop because it just wasn't fun anymore but as I said in the review, that's a me issue and got nothing to do with the game. I'm glad you're enjoying.

I think VR is my next big purchase when it comes to my gaming hobby. Do you have any suggestions in terms of VR headsets?

@@sktalksgames I have a Valve Index, which is very decent but might be starting to get outdated now. Be sure that your headset can do 90hz, which is what you need to aim for. The index also supports 120hz and 144hz but for triple A games, with current top GPUs, is asking maybe too much. But there are headsets that only do 75hz or so, and that's not a nice experience. The field of view is also very important, which is decent with the index, check that it is at least the same, preferably more. I also love the floating speakers of the Index! Tracking is also perfect with the lighthouses. And it definitely has the best controllers (for playing HL:Alyx at least) The biggest drawback is the cable. Higher resolutions may also be possible but again, you can't have a fast enough GPU. Furthermore I'd like to say if you play like one or two simulator like games that support VR, it's absolutely worth it! I mostly play Star Wars Squadrons and Dirt Rally 2.0 (with HOTAS and racing wheel).

I'm glad you found the video helpful. And that's exactly right, you need to set your PS5 a static IP through your router settings and also forward some ports. After that it should work without an issue.

Global Agenda was alright if you played it during it's hay day, even had okay pve plus some other interesting mixes like territory control through matches with some cool cosmetic rewards. Too bad Hi-rez dropped it too early imo.

I understand the point you're trying to make completely, especially about how OW is not exactly doing itself any favours, so in sense too Concord has a good shot. After trying the beta, at least the first one cause I haven't had the chance to try the second yet, I'm just not convinced Concord can offer enough. Sure, the initial few weeks and months might boom as you said because gamers like to try the shiny new toy, but I think it will have a massive dip once everyone gets bored cause it's not doing enough to keep our attention. I suppose at the end of the day time will tell and I do honestly hope that this game ends up doing well because I miss playing a good hero shooter like back in the early days of OW. I just fear that they're setting themselves up for failure by charging 40$.

A game that fumbles in the same aspects most modern games fumble is not gonna go big. If it did we wouldve seen waaay better numbers in the beta, as things stand right now there isnt much interest in the game at all.

Haha yea once I saw big smoke in the community design tab I knew I had to make him my character. I fully understand the repetitiveness of the game getting boring and to be honest, you're not missing much by not finishing the game. The ending is very average, and that's me being very generous haha. If you had 10 hours of fun then I think that's alright.

This is how I felt about Concord too. It's not outstanding and like I said in the review, it's gonna have to be something extra special to stand out but as a standalone game, it's just okay. I get that a game being just okay is not enough for some, that's completely fair but some people really need to relax a bit when it comes to this stuff. At the end of the day it's just a game and this is just my opinion. Nobody is forced to watch my video so if it's something they're not interested in, just don't watch it?! I don't know maybe I'm missing something.

I bought Concord with my own money because I'm interested to see what it's about. No money was exchanged between myself and the publishers/developers to make this video and of course all opinions are my own. I actually enjoyed parts of it but I agree the characters are very generic and don't seem to be able to hold their own. The game definitely needs more time to cook.

The title is a question and during the video I try to answer it. And my final verdict is that I don't think this game is going to succeed unless they significantly improve and innovate the gameplay while also making the game free to play, none of which I see happening, at least not between now and its release. Also, there's been no money exchanged to make this video and I paid for the game in full with my own money. If I ever receive codes from developers or publishers, I always make sure to make it clear right at the beginning of the video, like I've done many times before in previous videos.

If people would take just 2 minutes to watch the beginning argument of the video they'll realise that I don't think this will be better than Overwatch but hey, I suppose I should work on better titles 🤐

Thank you for your honesty, and to be frank, I was thinking about why they felt the need to include pronouns too and then I realized I that I don't particularly care since it has zero impact on gameplay so I stopped thinking about it. It's definitely going to be interesting to see if Sony will keep the price tag or will they listen to feedback and make the game free to play. In its current state, for a 40 dollar game, I reckon this game will be dead on arrival. Definitely not worth the price even if it is trying something different.

If you use the official chiaki4deck controller map it should be the left touchpad

Map the left touchpad as a button..assign to keyboard letter T.. youre welcome.. btw i do richt touchpad as Escape button.. so it work like clicking the touchpad on ps5 controller. ✌🏻
