Do the CC get comfortable after wearing? Mine are less than a week old and feel alot harder than my 10yr old bluntstones

I own this one, old school classic, also I love elite & santal, if you love these you will love vetiver by guerlain. In fact floris elite was originally a shaving cream released in 1853 then Carlos benaim working for ralph Lauren copied it and released it as polo in the late 1970s, floris didn't release elite as a bottle fragrance until the early 1980s. Lovely stuff.

I ordered guerlan vetiver do u think it has similar smell? i have a few fragrances and dont want those few to be too similar

Thank you for your video. I love and own this fragrance also. My friend is a member of a gentleman's club in London and goes to floris, as his club is very close by, he picked Wilde up for me as it came out on the same day as my birthday. My friend also does local tours that cover James bond etc and they always stop with the groups at Floris. I find that Wilde lasts a very long time on me too. It's a very unique scent IMO but also very comforting. Dan.

I bought a sample, and it was impressive. Top notes and dry down on me were correct, like the manufacturer stated. I could still smell it after 4 hours. I enjoy this as a 44 male, and I will purchase a full bottle.

I bought the Jermyne street discovery set to try out. It has No.89, Elite, JF, Jermyn street and Santal. I only like Jermyn street from the lot and the No.89 is respectable because its a classic. However, the rest are definitely unique with the Elite simply being a stronger version of the No.89. Both seem better for colder weather. Good thing about JF is that it has a nice base note of Musk and is really appealing. Jermyn street may also not be mass appealing but its definitely a lot more agreeable to me personally. I'm really looking forward to Bergamont be Positano and Honey Oud.

It's hard to dislike Elite, it has all the qualities of a perfect masculine scent for a man. I wear this one, when I want to project a professional, conservative and masculine impression. Well worth having in any well rounded chap's collection. Glad to have subbed to your channel and I will look forward to future videos. Ash

i absolutely love Wilde. being in the US, it was a blind buy for me, which thankfully worked out 😂 I've been wearing it for over a week now and really started to enjoy it more and more over the first few days. the notes that come through the most for me are the ginger, green carnation, olibanum and white jasmine. that hint of spiciness, creamy sandlewood with that floral melony freshness, give the dry down a masculine edge. the bergamot, citrus blossom, and sea notes add an airy quality to the fragrance that i really enjoy. too me, this is an elegant, spicy, fresh, citrusy floral. emphasis on the spice. because of that, i would wear this on cooler days, or a date night. very warm, cozy, comforting, curled up with a good book scent.

I also love Floris. I own over 600 fragrances and I never tire of Floris. I enjoy almost all their masculine ones and most of the unisex scents.

I love this one. I cant wait to try Wilde. Will look for your review.

I have Elite, to me it is a classic. I found it a bit loud in the first 30 minutes after that it is a nice classic three season scent. This is a classic mature scent so bear that in mind . I think it is a bit heavy for summer but maybe for a summer evening, I also have Floris Cefiro and Bergamot d' Positano, these are my go to summer scents. I live in Manitoba Canada so our summers are hot and the winters are generally very cold.

I've always loved this brand, regardless of the price, I feel they're definitely worth it. I've had a Bronx, and a Thunderbolt (isn't produced anymore), and currently wear a Dominator or my Lightning. Cheers

I've got a collection of Floris fragrances. Elite is my favorite. Concerning the James Bond connection, Ian Fleming never wrote a fragrance for James Bond into his novels. The closest was the use of Floris Limes bath oils IIRC but only because Bond was held up at the estate of one of his nemesis. Ian Fleming did use No. 89 as one of his fragrances. Floris did release a limited Edition OO7 fragrance recently to commemorate the connection. I have a bottle. It's scent profile is essentially a modernized No. 89.

Top-notch hides, many options with regard to liners, pockets, zippers, etc. and impeccable construction make their jackets excellent. I have two of their jackets in Horween chormexcel front quarter horse hide and love them both.

I've been wearing them day-in, day-out for 43 years; and nothing else has been as good. But Don't buy the newer styles; go for the Classic design.

Is the color of the Gardeners vs the Chestnut Craftsmans as close as it looks in your pics? They look almost the same color just different finishes due to the type of leather.

Those particular shoe trees actually damage the shoes. The bit with the spring on it presses into the heel at one point. The boots also did look overstretched with the sole flat at the toe. This means the shoe trees are not the right size. Definitely recommend shoe trees that look like lasts, distributing pressure evenly. What about the Comfort Craftsman insole? It’s completely synthetic and I found it leads to squeaking.

Really good review. I recently bought a Lightning from the shop. Fits like a glove. Leather feels nice and soft. As an added bonus it had a tartan lining. What are your thoughts on Belstaff or Schott?
