How I use my Daily Planner Spread: ✨️On the time side I use cute icons to block out chunk of times I should be doing a task. Using cute icons helps my mundane tasks become fun things I need to work on. ✨️I leave some journaling space to ensure that I come back and look at my planner at the end of the day. This journaling space is also decorated to add some elegance to my spread: ✨️My to-do list is quite lengthy so I color code my tasks based on different areas of my life such as work, business, home, personal etc. Of course I make sure my highlighter colors match my spread. This came out so beautiful , I got so many ideas I’ll be stealing 🤣 and you could use any spare pages to attach photos of what you read or liked /accomplishments you tracked or just photos of yourself /family . Just to give the visual piece to what you planned for the month .

I hate FOMO and companies that use it as a marketing tool. For me it's not the feeling of staying behind because I don't post on social media or compare my planner to anyone else but I get a "oh, I didn't know that existed" feeling. Also Instagram is a really bad influence. I started daily journaling in July and know I'm buying way too many stickers to use in the journal for next year I haven't even ordered yet. And Temu made that so much worse. It has the shiny stuff with the "only x items left" to feed the Fomo. Also the sound on the video has a really weird reverb on your voice.

This is awesome! I slept on the Hobonichi and Stirling Ink planner drops, and I’m using that money for the Travelers Company drop because THATS what I use. Yeah there’s FOMO, but no guilt. I know what I use.

Thank you so much for making this! I actually suggest the EC Fine-Tip Highlighters and Dual-Tip Focused Highlighters for something like a Hobonichi. Their grid size is incredibly small (between 3-4mm) so those are absolutely the perfect size and the colors look amazing even on the cream paper! They do take a little bit of time to dry because of the paper coating but it's worth it.

The Kanban Board is my favorite productivity tool. This is how you can create it in your planner: 1. Add a header to one page that says TO-DO. In another page add a header IN PROGRESS and on the las page add a header that says DONE. 2. Use sticky notes to write your tasks. 3. Move your tasks around based on when you are woeking on them and when you are finished! 4. I love writing quotes in my planner, too! I get emails from Inspiring Quotes. I get them every day or every other day. I write the ones I really like in a notebook. Then when I’m planning, I pull out that notebook and pick out quotes to write.

I got the erin condren a5 planner and it has been so helpful! I also got the project and budget inserts and I made my own inserts for other important info. I am a teacher and will be going back to work in around 2 weeks so we will see if the planner holds up to both my personal life and work life together!
