Thank you so much for making this! I actually suggest the EC Fine-Tip Highlighters and Dual-Tip Focused Highlighters for something like a Hobonichi. Their grid size is incredibly small (between 3-4mm) so those are absolutely the perfect size and the colors look amazing even on the cream paper! They do take a little bit of time to dry because of the paper coating but it's worth it.

I've been using Hobonichi as a catch all planner/journal for 7 years (2025 will be year 8) but I'm also a fountain pen user so I like having something with fountain pen friendly paper to work in as well as a different planner (I'm using the 18-month EC A5 daily ring agenda to better time block my days)

I am so glad they have highlighters that thin available for planners such as the Hobonichi! You always just need different sizes 😅
