Allman Betts Band w/ Billy Strings - Midnight Rider [8/14/21, Hoxeyville]
Ganz wundervolles stück tolles arrangement liebe grüße aus deutschland🇩🇪
What a talent. This is some fine version of the old Dillards song. Beautiful!
Billy and Betts. Love it.
I love this band!! I saw the Greg Allman band at Bonita lakes (Hattiesburg MS) which was in 1998. Great show. I only got to see the allman brothers one time which was in Pensacola Fl in the fall of 2001 at the old bayfront auditorium, which was torn down many years ago.
❤❤ Family Tradition love it❤
excellent
Outstanding. Awesome.
BMFS!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Hulkamania all over again😂
Peak BMFS right here 👑🎶👽🌐
What a great show this was! Halloween added a whole other level. Actually, several other levels!

Duane adding drums to turmoil!! PRICELESS 😂🔥🔥😂

Awesome 😎💝🙏🏽🌄
Amen 🙏🏽❣️🤟 for this!
This one takes me somewhere else man. I can't find it in Billy's albums
The reason you won’t find it in Billy albums is because it’s not his. This song was written by Christopher Henry and even he doesn’t have it on streaming. If you find Christopher’s RUclips page and comment you would like the recording he will send it to you!
@@neddoon3717 wow thanks man!
@@claudioortiz5830 yeah dude! I have been hunting down the recording for a while. Couldn’t find it. Then I saw Christopher Henry in a comment give a guy a Dropbox link, there I downloaded it too! Hahaha
I wish my volume would go to infinite loud...and beyond. HAH!!!!
Man! This is incredible!!!!! I'm looking at a picture of Gregg right now and the chills are just...well, you know what chills do...they let you know WHAT IS TRUE!!!!! Thank you so much!!!!! I want this played while my ashes are drifting away on a Lynn, MA, Red Rock Reservation sea breeze!!!!!. I'm 75, extremely grateful to be alive, and satisfied that the good things I've done will outweigh the bad. Sorry, I DO go on.
Puts a Smile on this Old Man's face.
I'm still with you Billy prettiest ong I've heard you sing you've got the best band ever
Been looking for a guitarist actually picking on this tune and not just strumming. Billy Strings never disappoints.
Lovely Collaboration
I love it! I was born and raised on The Allman Brothers Band! I love Dickey Betts and their boys are Rockin It! Billy Strings takes it Beyond the Beyond for sure! 💫
Me too! I Couldn't agree with you more...but I do! I'm 75 and it hurts to see the great ones I grew up with (and I'm going back to the 50s, thanks to my bobbysoxer Aunt Penny RIP who played Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee, Elvis, etc, etc, on 45s while babysitting me) and was so influenced by, not only in music, but all the arts, (I'm still not sure if Kerouac was positive or negative, probably both lol). However, thanks to the Great Spirit, the Ancestors progeny carry on...only better, and stronger. Sorry, I could go on and on, but, for your sake, I won't.🤑
It's like the 70s again. When bands jammed
Does dicky ever play out anymore?
Excellent
Billy Allman and his incredible String band
Billy Stings is truly annointed. Thank you for this beautiful version of There is a Time .
They should try to make it on their own talent !!
Great version, but wtf is up with Billy, he looks double his own age! 🤯
Jarrod Walker is hands down my favorite mando player alive right now. What a badass, wow!
I hope they all keep doing this an never stop. We need this so bad , all the new music is crap.
Crap, indeed. Fake music.
Billy sings as great as he plays guitar.
Sounds like a pack of howling cats and dogs
Travesty these guys are stealing their parents legacy. Embarrassing really.
It really is
Or, keeping it alive and the bread in the family. My son is unable to carry on anything of our music due to his disabilities, so I'm glad they are playing very well and I can feel the love .please try to feel some too.
Or, maybe they are keeping their fathers' legacy alive while also making their own music.
The Darlings
Jeff Bridges on vocal and rythym guitar ? ? Dickey Betts looks great ! ! He didn't have any work done on his face, did he ? ? He looks like he lost a $hit ton of weight.
Holy Shit! Does the heart good to see and hear real musicians playing real music for a change . thanks for sharing.
Man, I'm with you!
the dillards also do this song nicely :D
This guy rocks and I lo e his music but his managers have him looking like Justin Bieber. I m amazed he let that happen. Highlights??? That's not Bluegrass...
Billie is incredible. The shame is some old timers find it hard to respect someone so young that clearly cannot have paid the dues they have. But, Billie is an incredible talent and when everyone sees it first hand, he will climb to heights never attained even by the GOATers, yet.
These kids are BORN with the Blues, but they also have to know how to play, which they do, and, they remain true. Yet, is the key word here. I mean, who could ever be better than, say, Little Richard? Nick Curran comes close, but yet. So, I dig what you're saying man. And look at Butter! White kid, criticicized for aping in Rolling Stone?? Man, if you've ever seen him play, I'm talking (maybe too much) sat at a front table at an intimate Blues club, like Lennie's on The Pike on Rte 1 in MA. There's NO DOUBT that he was born with The Blues. He was Muddy"s under study on the South Side for crying out loud. No one will ever top him. Except maybe for The Harmonicats! Hahahaha. Always leave 'em laughing's what I say.
Strings is awesome, great talent !!
