Making custom wooden cars and trucks from scrap wood. All video are time lapse of the making process. I usually post a video once or twice a month after each completed build. After starting years ago making pinewood derby cars with my kid for her races, then making them just for fun, people have been contacting me to make wooden replicas of their personal cars. It has since formed into a great hobby and I learn something new each build. Videos are created to show the customer the making process also to pass a tip or two to a fellow builder.

Four door pickups in 1947?
This was a replica of a custom pickup.
According to the owner, the front half of the cab was made from a 47. The back half was off a different truck.

For a free-hand craft, you did fantastic. However, personally, I would have used machines, guides and rails to mill out the straight lines.
Free-hand is what gives it its charm, IMO

Hi my friend. The clear coat you use after painting, what kind is it? with water or oil and the mark. I'm looking for a water-based clear coat and haven't found one yet.
I use a automotive 2k clear coat made by Shop Line. It is not water based.

Is it possible to make the windows with the dremel router bits?? Even the front window?
Yes of course. I’ve done that in the past. I’d be careful with an actual router bit, they tend to slip and scratch. I’d use more of a carbide carving bit.
