No Limits - No Regrets

I'm here for a good time, not a long time, and to make the most out of life. Having had multiple open heart surgeries already and a degrading heart, that means being as healthy as possible. Financially, it means planning for my exit ramp in life. Most importantly, it means packing as many wild experiences as I can into the years I have remaining. Much like my tattoos and scars being the scrapbook of my body, this is the home movie of my life.
Without passion, life is pointless, and I have a lot of it for cars, motorcycles, guitars, guns, art, movies, music, photography, and my dog, Baron. My accomplishments so far include 3 books, an album, an award winning documentary about breaking the cross country motorcycle record, my own shop building custom choppers, and riding my bike 198.4 mph at the Texas Mile, but I still have a lot more adventures to enjoy, so twist the throttle and ride along!

Heart update with blood lab learnings on kidney and liver concerns and current 13 meds list.
Have you tried stem cells to clean up the fibrosis at the point of surgery? They're not cheap but also doable. I had them and they helped my breathing and a lot of other elements of my vascular system. I'm also doing dry fasting right now to heal and shrink tissues in my heart. Dry fasting has given me hope again. I'm also going to be going to do hyperbaric oxygen therapy since it helps heal tissue. I totally get that you're working towards happiness and limiting input on this issue. I go through this every day too. I wish the best of luck to you and thank you for the informative video.
yes, i do stem cell and full vitamin push, everything else the antiaging clinic has to throw at it once/year. still playing with diet, modifying now with live damage repair efforts. trying to be very conscious of every decision.
@@NoLimitsNoRegrets Good for you. I've got a lot of oxalates in my body so I know this is one of my core issues. Dirty blood means a dirty heart. Trying to stay disciplined and enjoying the process. Trying to figure this stuff out can be like wack-a-mole with problems and solutions. Sorry to hear this valve has issues. Wishing you good vibes on your journey
@@heartmagician i also did a food sensitivity test to try to minimize inflammation. whack a mole, plus contradictions. one food is good for this issue and bad for another issue.
i’ve seen people eat them 😂
😂
I hope everything has gone well.
Im sorry for your pain. I too have been there but in different ways.
All the very best. Youve just shown me that my bloke wasn't shown how to use his retractable needles correctly.
happy to hear there are some learnings here for others.
Getting ready to have open heart surgery, on July 23. I am 44. I have a few high blockages. Your vids helps with the unknown. thanks
Glad to hear it. stay as healthy and relaxed as you can going into it, do what the docs tell you, listen to your body, and you'll be fine!
👍
Rooting for ya brother!! Dont give up!!! Lets get to 50% baby!!
🤘
I took the test. It said my score of 839 was high. Its like...ok...but everyone everywhere is posting 1000 is the absolute upper limit. I do work out every day
I wish you did it without that stupid extra strap thing. 90% of people won't have that
the canyon dancer? part of what i'm trying to show is there's a better way like using that piece. i never knew about it and it makes life a lot easier.
hiii ax how r u doing now ?
recovery is glacial pace but slow progress in the right direction at least.
That is NOT how you release a strap. You open it fully and push the "handle" all the way back and it locks the rachet in the open position so the strap can be pulled out easily. Also, always been told by bike mechanics that it is never good idea to secure your bike with the suspension under load. You should always secure your straps "below" the suspension such as lower down on the forks below where the shocks travel.
i've heard that about lower on the fork attachment too, but you need the leverage up higher to keep it from falling over sideways with this setup. to do that you'd need some kind of a front wheel brace that keeps the bike from tipping.
Thanks for the help. Great tutorial.
glad it helped!
Holy cow this explains my ex but he's worse cause he is seen by friends etc as Mr. Nice guy. He's not nice and it got verbally and emotionally abusive. I still struggle letting go 😢
one thing i noticed they're good at it projecting specific images of themselves to specific ppl. they tend to be very good at what they do.
Did you consider having valvuloplasty, Ross or at least mechanical instead of sticking to tissue valves? Wouldnt it be better?
Lots of history, but the first surgery was an attempt to repair native valves, gave out 4 days later, chordae were trashed he said. i went with tissue as there were no limits on daily life, no blood thinners, diet constraints, etc. this last time, we had the discussion again on mech vs. tissue. i did more research, and still took the tissue approach, not only for the quality of life day to day, but you do have higher stroke risk with the mech valves and have to be really careful about your blood thinness meds, testing, results, etc. the way mine is failing now coming loose at the edge, a mechanical would've had the same issue. had i gone mechanical the first time, i may have had a lot less issues, but daily life would not have been as enjoyable and the higher risk of stroke. to each their own, this is just what i've chosen.
Why cant u get another tossue valve a third time?? My doctor told me they can put 3-4 in my airtic valve no problem Is it more of a mitral hyprid valve issue as to why or is it just so damged bc i need to make a decision here 3-4 months myself
Was ur heart in really bad shape before ur first sirgery amd u didnt know it??? What was ur ejection fraction ur first surgery do u rememeber???

Continuing with how to build a personal budget using the data from the past couple videos as a basis.
My surgeon says 3 mo to feel like old self after valve repair but many say 6mo to a year. Ugh.
my first open heart was rough and actually two surgeries that week, but it was about 6 months to pre-surgery shape, and 1 yr before i'd maxed out my healing. be healthy and patient, focus not on where you are, but how much you improve each day.
I've got s 2012 VW Jeti Sportwagen I just got new bulbs Sunday, I have to install it sometime tomorrow. Thanks for uploading this video. Very helpful.
you're welcome and glad it's helpful!
kill switch is requiring for??? s1000rr have VDS angle sensor if bike falling down, automatic switch engine off only you want destroy your start switch and cant start again at race 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 stop showing shiiittt
Very good info thanks!
Appreciate you watching and happy to hear it was helpful! there should be another video on adjusting the foam inside if you haven't figured all that out yet.
How long before you can go back to work ?
For that surgery, it took me a bit longer with recovery due to heart rhythm issues. i believe i started work at 5 months post surgery, but within a week, the rhythm went bad again, body just wasn't ready for work stress yet, so had to settle for a while again and went back to work at about 6 months.
Bucked up & chain-sawed a fallen ash tree.
This is very helpful. Thank you. Can you tell me what the name of the previous video you did where you gave this homework.
Thanks for the feedback, and great to hear! Of course, the videos are in order in the Casual Sense playlist, so the one before this will be CS111, and the next one posting next week will be CS113 on how to use all this to build a budget. the CS111 link is ruclips.net/video/rv6XS3Qr3nI/видео.html and the videos include links to the previous and next videos on the cards in the corner too. Enjoy!
@@NoLimitsNoRegrets thank you very much for getting back to me. I'm sorry it took me so long to reply. I'm hoping to sit down today and watch this and then do the homework.
@@ooigniss no worries, it's better to wait until you have the time to go through the exercise as you'll get more value out of it. i'll be posting videos next on the same track/budget of time and health as our other 2 resources as well. enjoy!
Can you recommend a service repair manual for dismantling s1000rr engine?
i used the dvd from the dealer when i bought it new in 2010, which was a well written service manual.
Why does your posting say that your lifespan will be limited?
at the time of that video, i knew that i wouldn't get another open heart, so 10 years would be the max i'd get. if you've watched any of the latest videos, my heart is now failing, so time is very limited for me now.
Here's how to take the spend data and find ways to cut your monthly spending.
I have a magnifi max SR and I hear the sound great but all of a sudden I can’t get voice.
from what i've seen, usually voice comes out of the center speaker, so check that for loose connections. these things can be hard to get balanced right too.
@@NoLimitsNoRegrets I managed to get it going. Disconnect everything and plugged it back in ten minutes later and it all came back to life. Thanks.
Much love brother ..im having triple bypass Wednesday july 3 2024 ..im 49 never had a surgery yeh a few trips to the er for bones or stitches
good news is you're relatively young for it. just go into it as healthy and relaxed as possible, do what the docs tell you, focus on still being alive coming out the other side, and be patient with recovery!
Whoa! Long time in hsp. Dr estimates I can go home day 4 or 5. Glad to see a real life example. Thanks. Will be having CABG.
my first time for OHS was 19 days in the hospital. would've been out sooner this time, but since i've had so many procedures, it was heart rhythm issues that kept me there longer. Hope all goes well with yours!
Hello have they suggested a pacemaker ? Thanks !
discussed, but not suggested yet. more details on the pacemaker discussion in the latter part of ruclips.net/video/5ldsj1GWY5c/видео.html including pacemaker and ICD details.
Hey mate, can the docs do a root replacement. Bit like a sleeve that replaces the whole area as well as the valve
nope, word so far is no more open heart surgeries. 3 already.
I have a 2017 Aprilia RSV4 RR and I try to do launch control by pinching both of the buttons and it’s not working. Does anyone know why that could be? I would’ve thought maybe the plus and minus buttons weren’t working but when I press them it does go up and down.
i'd say first make sure you're using the instructions in the manual for your specific bike as it may be different than mine. may not just be those buttons, but clutch, full throttle, gear vs neutral, all the other things too. if you're doing everything per the manual, little things like clutch switches, brake switches, etc. might be failing.
“Take a good look around you, now you’re breaking the chain” -Dokken
🤘 rockin' with dokken! only saw them once, one of the openers for one of the Alice Cooper shows years ago!
Thank you for this. I need to have a mitral valve fixed or replaced. I am 77 in good health, but scared $Hit. I never had surgery my whole life. I do have Afib, the Dr thinking it’s from the valve. I had the TEE done and next is a Cardiac catheterization as a precaution. I shake thinking of open heart surgery to do this.
if you're in good health, you're in a lot better place than i am right now. stay as relaxed and healthy as you can going into it. trust the doctors, do what they tell you, and come out the other side in a better place. recovery is rough, just take it slow and you'll be good.
i have seen others use a strap for better comfort
good idea, thanks! just looked and didn't come with a strap, but it has the button on the side for one, so i'll look for one. much appreciated!
just ordered one in fact!
@@NoLimitsNoRegrets great, should help balance it better

they are such a phenomenal machine. i do love my aprilia too, they're similar, but such different personalities. that bmw is the longest relationship of my life at 14 years, girl, car, or bike.
Thanks dude. It’s impossible to find content like this. I just want to hear the experiences of other men, but Nearly Every other video is some self styled women telling men about female narcissism. I swear, if I see another Dr. Ramni “top 5 ways/traits/redflags… “ video I’m gonna….lose it. FFS THank’s again dude!
yeah man, glad you enjoyed it. was a pretty bizarre experience to get to the end and look back and big palm print on the forehead, but at least it didn't go any longer than it did. so much content is clinical whether it's this stuff or medical stuff, but i like to be able to dilute it to the average Joe view on this stuff so we all understand better.
Is it suppose to be abit loose around the knees?
a little while standing yes. the idea is when you're in attack position on the bike everything is just right, so that means loose in knees when legs aren't bent, etc.
@@NoLimitsNoRegrets beautiful 👌🏼 I bought the perfect suit then haha I was pretty worried cause I bought a suit and it felt loose around the knees but cheers man 👌🏼
I think you're onto something with those meds for an otherwise healthy person. I've quit every statin or bp med they've ever put me on. They all make me feel horrible! Like HORRIBLE horrible!!
i totally get things like thinners for the stroke risk, but logically, a med that drops blood sugar or blood pressure for someone who has good numbers is going to make the numbers too low. that was the worst/puniest i've felt throughout my entire heart journey. sorry you're having issues too. have to think about everything in detail along the way!
I was going to ask if you if you had experienced any mental deficiencies with your heart medications. I didn’t think I was having any mental issues but clearly everything is more difficult by quite a bit. Ramping up the entresto and been noticing it more. Just added Spironolactone. I have low blood pressure. Zero heart attacks. My. Bp was super low to point they called code and put me in heart ICU. I’d have to look at my records to verify the numbers. Entresto through CVS mail order is $100.00 for 90 days (blue cross blue shield health insurance internal pharmacy) Just an fyi . Safeway quoted $1,000.00 for 30 days. Might be an option? 1/10 cost
The super fatigue is my experience too. The drunk driving feeling was my feeling too. So I just don’t even consider getting on my S1000RR. But I’ve done it a couple times. Just to temp death right?😂 kidding. But not completely. Maybe testing the grim reaper more accurately. 😅 It’s a real tough choice making these choices knowing nobody has a crystal ball and perhaps something could rapidly alter an outcome. And the side effects are fairly significant. Especially combined. I’m on 5 right now. Pretty difficult to hear they are permanent. I missed the ‘chronic’ part of the diagnosis of “chronic heart failure”. Perfect example of the mental deficiencies. Entresto label said “take one…” I stopped reading. The full label said “take one tablet TWICE daily” It took me a month to notice my oversight in a single sentence. Wow.
@@EtaSoon777 i don't plan on ever touching entresto again after my experience. i'm surprised they still have you on it with your BP that low?? mental stuff...after anesthesia, which i had twice that week, i tend to get weird dual reality dream worlds in my head for a bit, little foggy, but usually that clears out.
@@EtaSoon777 nice, and no judgment, i was on the aprilia 2 days after my colonoscopy too haha. i was only taking one entresto a day, lowest dosage, and it screwed me up bad. low blood pressure isn't good, and me being very active and barely able to get out of bed? no thanks. i don't care how long it might add to my life, i'll take a little more time of quality living over feeling like death any day!
Hey bud, Sorry you're feeling so crappy. (I originally said s**tty but I guess some people get offended reallllllly easily and youtube does too! :) Yeah that would really bug me if I spent that much on drugs and couldn't use them. I've actually had that happen and ended up giving them to my doc to give to someone else who couldn't afford it. Not suggesting you do that just saying what I ended up doing one time. Well lets hope you start feeling better right quick! I'm guessing you've taken the blood thinner before as you've mentioned blood thinners prior so you're probably pretty confident that's not the issue. Just hang in there and you'll be feeling better in no time! That's terrific about the hole closure bringing up your E/F. I didn't know that was one of the possibilities. I understood that you E/F was where it would be and the hole closure would just keep it there so I'm glad I was wrong about that! I have a friend who's having breathing problems who also has a heart issue. I'm not sure exactly what his heart issue is but something I heard you say in one of your videos really struck home with me and I mentioned it too him and he's seen his cardiologist and that's exactly what it was! So know your video really helped someone in a similar situation. Probably not much consolation but I thought I'd mention that you really helped him. He was at his wit's end. Anyway I tend to be wordy so don't feel you need to respond to this, just know we're thinking of you and praying and hoping for the best! Stay strong brother and you'll be feeling better before you know it! I say that confidently as getting over any procedure takes time as you well know. Okay I'll stop now before I end up getting banned! peace
Thanks, and that's part of the reason i do these videos is to help educate others so great to hear it's helpful. Def getting better, just gotta keep being healthy every day until i'm in a better situation, at least as good as before surgery!
@@NoLimitsNoRegrets Fingers crossed!
Heart update on serious problems around heart medication lesson i had to learn.
I have a similar situation going on,to be brief, is a TAVR out the question for you, where the new valve would be inserted through old and would press the old valve against the heart tissue thus sealing the leaks?
Yes. the new valve has a mild stenosis, but the bigger issue as noted in the video is the joint between the outer ring of the valve and the scarred heart tissue where it's failing.
Thank you very much for this video, sir. Just got my X15 and loving it so far. Your instruction took the mystery and annoying instruction booklet out of the equation. I felt like i would damage the shield detent mechanism but watching you do it made all the difference. 👍
