Hello. When you strike with your palm on the top of someone's head or on someone's forehead, do you use the same part of the palm of your hand that you do for the _pak sao_ like you explained in the video "Mantis Kung Fu - Martial Art Southern Praying Mantis"?

Excellent video..but..how do you strike to the stomach with your fingers without hurting them? Could the first strike be applied as a punch to the stomach? Also..the combination seems to depend on a karate style, low block response. What if you get a boxer who just covers with the closest elbow (say left elbow to a right strike) and then counter punches with a straight right? I think I can kind of see how this combination could respond to a boxer's defenses and counters..but..I'm wondering if it is ever trained with boxing style attacks and responses? Finally, I'm very concerned over striking with the fingers. I'm just learning Saam Bo Jin and obviously I'm no expert ... But the striking with the fingers thing. I'm still not sure how to go about doing that? Do you have any pointers re that aspect of Chow Gar?

This training can train your arm up power. When enemy try to release your arm, this training let you remember to counter attack, when your arm reach the position. Enemy's arm you controlled cannot punch you, and enemy's arm push down force is small than your arm turn up force, because you will use more muscle power to do the move. Remember let your arm back to 45 degree.
