Since all these services, save one, are free, what do these companies do with your information that is posted online? How are they making profit? They must be selling the purchasers information.

Isn't this giving someone who finds your pet to much info.. I mean, they now have my pets name, my email and home address...hmmm

My cat, Buffett, went missing two days ago and we've scoured the entire neighborhood trying to find him. He's an indoor cat without very much experience with this area at all. We've set four humane traps with tuna in them and we have only caught a single Opposum in one of them. I have cast as wide a net as I can with so many methods but I still can't find him. We're in the aftermath of a hurricane. How do I find my boy?

Excellent video Brigid! Clearly although scent tracking is an excellent method it along with non-scent based tracking methods, (such as I use with my BMK Animal Investigations efforts), aren't nearly as useful once a pet has been missing for long enough. At such a point it's about finding, or generating, and following up new leads. Tracking methods may become viable again with a good fresh lead. Otherwise such efforts would be a wild goose chase so to speak.

This is the type of video I need to watch multiple times. My personality defaults to doing or saying whatever it takes to avoid being (what I consider) non-confrontational. I tend to do more than what is asked of me (boundaries I need to set for myself) and take on extra tasks in addition to the job that is asked of me (boundaries I need to set with others/customers).

Lost my indoor cat yesterday, in 5 years he was always home following me everywhere i go... and last night he disapzar, this morning i search everywhere but not a sigh of him, im scared that a dog killed him and ran away with his body... in a time where i was already in depression this was not the time to lose my best friend

So sorry text was so long I just love my dogs so very much. They are what helps me in life keep pushing on also Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior is with me. One time my dog pulled lose from me I was so scared she would be hit and killed. Or I never find and catch her again. But by God's good grace I got her safe. My big fear is my beagle he ever gets lose being a hunting dog would be gone for good. I live right by a busy highway in front of my home. And behind me is lots of woods full of coyotes. But it's such a fear I got is them getting lose and never finding them. They are like my kids and they love me a lot. But they will run and not come back if lose. I'd give anything to be healthy and able to work and buy a fence to do my back yard. It would be so much more easy on my body and times it's hard on me. They would get exercise each day also. I priced a wood 6 foot tall fence 2 years ago and it was about 2k then not sure now a days. Another thing I wish I had was pet health insurance for them. But can't afford it each month. There has been many times I did not pay a bill or did without to make sure they can go to the vet. But I stay up on all there shots and needs. It's so hard but again Gods good He helps me. Sorry again but do you no anyplace or anyone would help me? In my area no places will help me. I have tried hard and I'm no good with the internet. People when I was younger use to love each other and try to help each other out if they could. Now a days people are not like that and it's very sad. People do not love or care about Others like they use to or should. People has lost there way. But if you no of anyone or any place could help me in anyway with a fence or even air tags please let me no. First time I ever text anyone on here about it. I'm 42 years old and fully disabled with lupus mixed connective tissue disease fibromyalgia severe raynauds phenomenon rheumatoid arthritis and I have heart problems a aneurysm in my aorta. I go to the Cleveland clinic all the time for my health. Doing test on me I may have something else I can't spell I'm being tested for. I have 2 dogs I love so very much. I got a female white pit bull who is about 11 years old her name is baby. She is the most sweet dog I ever seen would never hurt anyone or anything she warns me and let's me no before I go into a bad flair up. She will not leave my side lays her head on me and just looks at me. Try to give me kisses To make me feel better. She is just a gift from God to me. My other dog his name is Dakota he is 6 years old and is a beagle. My uncle got him as a pup but when Dakota was 7 months old my uncle past away and I took him in. He is such a great dog and learned so much from baby. He always is by my side and has to sleep with me under the covers. I have no family that can help me and only a small handful of friends so my dogs mean everything to me. I take them in and out to potty and when I'm not doing good it's hard on me at times. I wish so bad I could afford to fence in my small back yard I got but I will never be able to. It's a miracle I make it month to month but never ever let my dogs go without. I would before I'd let them. But a fence would be so nice they could get a work out running playing. I'm scared they will get lose from me and get killed or gone for ever. I can't afford air tags or a I phone tho. I got a android phone. Do you no any place can help me with a air tag?

Thank you for a very helpful video. I had my pets registered at one site that was absorbed by some other company. The new company charges and I can't access any of the pets that had been registered. I would suggest that people check on their registration site periodically to make sure that it's still operating.

Wonderful professional advise. Am starting boarding with 2 friends. My home is large fenced in have 2dog pools and own 2loving dogs that are kind and friendly. Since my clients are friends am bit worried on what to state the daily cost will be. 1 clients has 2 dogs, the other 4 dogs. Both leaving on vacation for a week.

Great video! I am leaning toward the Hero scanner. But my concern is scanning feral or stressed cats in a trap. The feedback from customers state that the Hero cannot scan "through" the metal of the trap, which means one needs to take the cat out of the trap to scan. That is an impossible task with ferals or aggressive cats. I checked out wand scanners. The are all over $1,000. Why so much? Any ideas?

I'm planning three sessions daily three hours each. That's 15-20 miles per day. How do I take care of myself when it comes to needing a bathroom during a session? I can't do what the dogs do, I'd be arrested.

Think about it, a microchip reader cost around $300 (for a really good one) and people don't walk around with that tool. Instead, any cellphone can scan a QR cod on a collar tag which in turn is link to a website with the "public" contact info of your choosing... This is awesome. By the way, if you buy the actual pet microchip that they sell, it is even cheaper coming at around $20 ($12 on Amazon) and includes free the lifetime registration of the chip. They call it "BuddyID ISO Microchip with Pre-Paid Registration" You save 50%. You are welcome. ALSO: your honorable mention "SaveThisLife" charges $20 one time payment for lifetime BASIC registration of any microchip, it's not free. Their proprietary microchip also is not free but it includes a free lifetime registration. I cannot find anywhere how much does their microchip cost though, but I suspect it cost around $20. That said, it's the cheapest of all so far to register any chip. It is not free, but it's the most affordable and the most convenient. I think this should be the #1, and BuddyID #2. this is a certified hood classic.
