Departure from Portimao (LPPM), Portugal to Jerez (LEJR), Spain
@EdThePilot and @DaniellaTheCoPilot depart in the early evening from Runway 29 at Portimao (LPPM) in a 1h 15m flight to Jerez with a Cessna 172P, taking them along the Algarve coastline, through the north VFR corridor ('Tunnel') past Faro Airport (LPFR) and on towards the Portugal - Spain border.
We join them at the holding point for Runway 29, waiting for the their Flight Plan to be released by Faro ATC. It's early evening and @EdThePilot has opted for a coastal VFR departure, taking them along the Algarve coastline to a the Carvoeiro VRP. They pass directly over their hotel, the Tivoli Carvoeiro and then also the Heart of the Algarve at Praia da Marinha as they approach Vilamoura.

Question from a starting student pilot: why do you use Practice 804B in some of your radio calls and PUN804B in others?
Good question! PUN804B is the Flight Number, but the callsign is Practice 804B. When travelling away from the home region for the aircraft (Jerez, Spain), it's common for the local ATC not to be aware of the Callsign, so they revert to the Flight Number instead. Always good to be aware of that, so that you listen for both forms of phraseology over the comms in flight!
