Really wish there was more documentaries about the new york clubs. Places like Hawaii Kai, the pyramid club, they really boosted the queer scene. New Yorks lost all its uniqueness, I've never felt any urge to go. Sometimes you need a bit of grime and grit to make a place liveable and fun.

I enjoyed with friends back in 80s...also brought business associates for a social experience. Dinner show really a must....Mai-Tais too !!

Steven was our favorite waiter. RIP Lost Island Room upstairs too that never came back after the 'Vid.

I was there for the first time in my life last night. It's an amazing place and a truly unique experience. I would also like to add that the owners are very concerned that a social media rumor is going around that they are closed....they are NOT CLOSED! They will, however, be temporarily closed for vacation at the end of August. Please go and show your support of this local and family owned business.

This place is the true Tiki Palace of Massachusetts. One of my favorite tiki bars ever.

I saw a ware wolf drinking a pina colada at trader Vics

Fun fact: my aunt is a DJ at this bar in nyc.

So much comfort I feel in The Tiki Room. When I worked for The YMCA as a Camp Counselor, I loved to sit with the kids I’d bring in there and watch their eyes light up.

Still one of my favorites attractions. I was so happy when DW bought back the original show.

Lost N.J. Tiki History for sure. I never made it to the Ridgefield location but did visit Chan's when they had a location on Rte. East in Paramus, N.J.

When I first started getting in to tiki, I mistakenly thought all tiki culture came from Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room lol!!!

So I loved this, BUT the Enchanted Tiki Room song is also the ringtone on my phone! I checked it more than a couple of times while watching this!

Another spot of Paradise closes down :( All that Tapa in the stairwell was beautiful
