The un-brush… really helps me to evenly distribute product easily . It really cuts down on the “work” of soothing/raking. Saves me sooo much time and effort. Which I love.

I was in that finding the right product stage and happy I found your video. Within the last two months I’m starting over. I’m a 4C wash&go women, in discovering how to get my curls I also went through products starting with the one I love because it really made my hair soft finally. The various products I tried my hair started getting hard again so I’m starting over to find a replacement for the products I love to find a backup to the products that was good for my hair when I was trying to to get my curl pattern, especially since the conditioner I was getting with the products that I love went from a 25oz to 8oz making buying 2 of the 8oz more than what it more expensive. But it may be some of the gels that I’ve been using….. I will see I am going the one styler method for now. I even found two inexpensive conditioners that’s not bad. I’m still a work in progress but your video has been enlightening ❤

Yes, making so many points here... I agree the banding method and stretching with heat.. Causing lil damage overtime. I too participated in that n My hair was compromised from the over manipulation. I embrace shrinkage and I see the results in no breakage on wash day and healthy length retention

Thanks for the video.. Just a suggestion for the next time, I use the Shea moisture scalp moisture cream with Aloe and saturate my scalp and braids overnight and start the take down the next day and I noticed that I lose less hair during my take down when my hair is hydrated, and washing during braids is a must.

I hate that leave in, it has no slip especially compared to the regular conditioner.

Key to using a leave in is to use a small amount. I love the slip a leave-in gives me, I think it helps keep my ends from snagging during styling... Definitely less to cut during maintenance trim

yeah, that leave in is very concentrated

I purchase this leave in from my local store and have been using it for the last 3 or so wash days and yeah the leave in is super concentrated and feel like a hybrid cream, foam texture. I like how soft my hair feels throughout the week but yeah I too have struggled figuring out jow much to use and what to pair this with that won’t cause flaking. i actualky waa thinking about pairong the LA hold gel or their turbo mousse. I last tried it with the Doux's Mousse Def and overall wasnt bad when I used a small amount all over my head but it still flaked a bit.

This experiment was interesting and looked cumbersome 😂. If i use a leave-in for my wash and go, i prefer a 'curl defining' leave-in for my wash and go topped with a strong hold gel. Thanks for experimenting and sharing with us.
