Lindo demais
I used to be senior corporate buyer for a large chain of video / record stores in the 80s and I used to receive every kind of audio and video freebee you can imagine. One of those, was a video called Mississippi delta. It is a fantastic video of james son thomas. One song is with him and another fella who played the rhythm section with the end of a broom being scraped against a wood porch...so good. and several live video in delta bars on a saturday. the dancing was unreal.
MONIGOTES KKKKKKKKKKKKK
not far from where I grew up. we used to go mud racing up in Leland
C'est Sidney au saxo?

Beauty shines on through!
That remindes me of Subterranean Homesick Blues by Bob Dylan.
🎧❤❤❤
Everything about her, inside and out, is pure beauty
Fantastic. Love it.
Brilliant guitarist!!
I love Etta!
Love this!
Anybody know the name of this tune?
Carolina Breakdown
Such a beautiful sound! She talked of her dad with such fondness. I hope my daughter remembers me as warmly when she’s Etta’s age.
My brother in law's grandmother, wish I had met her.
anyone know the name of that tune?
Now I see where his son Pat Thomas get his talent from thanks for posting the history lesson
Hometown
M home town 1945
Love seeing my hometown 😍 Here from 9/19/21 🙏🏾
It's always great to see a player that has already mastered the Instrument and tune and is happy to enjoy it and is free of anything uncomfortable
Anybody know which tuning she might be using on the guitar?
Standard tuning. She plays in "E" position. "E (7)" "A(7)" and "B(7)" with a whole lotta other stuff ;)
Etta makes it look effortless. Such a graceful beautiful sound.
I lived most of my life in Morganton, and met Etta several times. Too bad the audio has a bad sounding distortion on this upload.
Tell us more, Larry. What was Etta like to talk with?
Beautiful.
I was born in Clarksdale but left in 1996 I do come back once every so many years to visit and from watching this video it looks so different compared to how it looks now, I miss the old Clarksdale .
❤️
Sounds Real Good✌💙
She is gooooooooooood
its just a Grandma..................................................... NOT
really cool
I just recently learned that the piedmont blues was my style of picking and god I love this music
Me too, how's it sounding now have you sticked to it? Two days of mind boggling confusion and its starting to fall into place for myself.
@@alfredgodwin3884 What I meant was I have been playin some of these techniques for a long time. I just didnt know what it was called. Old brother in florida was my best friend and guitar buddy that taught me
wow she is good
Y DESPUES .....ok amigos a lo que venimos
One of my favorite guitar players.
I wonder what year this video was made looks like late 80s maybe????🤠
Awesome! The Piedmont has this swing wow...thanks for posting! 🎵🎵🎵
My grandma too!
Thank you
What an absolute master. The control she exerts on dynamics is mind boggling
Happy Birthday, Etta.
I truly miss how it use to look. This videos must be of the 90’s looking at the vehicle’s. It’s so sad how it looks now.
❤️
everything about this is beautiful
Thats my grandmother
your lucky <3
Wow very nice info. I play her music often
your lying your probably bad by the way
Jay muthafuckin splash
Are u joking or is that really true
I love her little trick where she slows it down and you think maybe that's the end but she picks it right back up with that smile. Love this lady. Sounds a lot like my dad stole from her.
Her style is enchanting, who wouldn't steal from her?
that was the best best part what an artist
A very nice Lady, I talked w her on the telephone and we were planning to cut an album together with another blues artist, Love her Banjo More. Military Marches I think.
Robert Wheeler dont bull crap dude, she deserve a lot of respect, she don’t even know what your voice sounds like so get out of here
Nice!
