That key that fit the safe, I believe, is a CH751. You'll find that it fits a lot of things :)

It'll detect even better if you replace the metal pole on the end with a plastic length of pipe. I used to play with these things all the time.

In NY, crushed cans are useless. They have to be put in the machine at the supermarket, and the UPC code most be read by the laser. And it must be a brand that the supermarket sells. So, a Coke can can be inserted anywhere, but a Stop n Shop soda can must go into the machine at Stop n Shop. We get a nickel return per can. Is that system used in any other states?

The soup cans, Goya cans or the really hard to crush cans are steel, you got lucky they didn’t dock you for that. I had one that snuck into by aluminum cans and I got docked 5 pounds for unclean cans.

I let my Wife use our Tracker IV for her first try at metal detecting at a local football field. I set it up in tone mode and told her to dig every high tone. After an hour she found $7 in change. Coins were everywhere. That is still one of our best sites for coin shooting. Found a gold ring and some silver jewelry there too.

You definitely got your three bucks worth! I used to launch eggs with my rockets in the 70’s.

July 7th,2023. Hi my name is Christina and I just got my grandma and pawpaw's collection of decanters . They were all in the wil for my daddy but he passed in 2021 . I have no clue where to start as to finding out the value of then I. I have at least 15 file size boxes full of them and also miniature shot bottles of liquor.

I dug out my old Barnett Trident i had from when i was kid. For many years it has been missing the nut/bolt which tightens the limb into place - no idea how i lost it. I'm looking online to buy a replacement but have no idea what it is called. Any ideas anyone?

the cordless dyson doesn’t have a bad battery its got s clogged filter its pusling its to the help the motor from over heating the filter is inside the top of canister it pulls and van can be washed itll work better

There are a few reasons collecting cans helps the environment, one main reason is because the dyes in beverage cans actually leach into the ground which is definitely not a good thing...from there they can go into water supplies, contaminate the soil ect....I turn in around 12,000 every month here in Ohio but I have access to a LOT of cans where i live and nobody else in my area seems interested in collecting them.....

I love collecting cans. It's practically free money if you're willing to walk a little bit. I get them at work too.

What state are you located in that you would find a Maine key chain?

I have 2 BH Tracker IV’s A trick you probably know by now is when you get a big signal start lifting the coil higher. If it is still there it’s likely a can or something else similar. If it fades quickly you may be looking at a 1/2 dollar, full silver dollar or a coin spill. I’ve dug way too many coins. The Tracker IV is very capable, not fancy but if you learn it, you can find coins with it. I’ve watched many videos on it. They say to turn sensitivity up until it starts making noise, then back off a hair. Set to Disc or Tone and disc knob at 3 o’clock. Watched further in the video and saw you figured that out. Great video. Are you still detecting?

I want to start doing videos of my detecting and being Thrifty by circumstance & being of Scotch decent I need to keep it cheap but not useless. Looking at older GoPros or Akaso. Your audio is good for voice are you using an external mic 🎤? I have a BH tracker IV and the same marketed by Radio Shack as the Discovery 1000. Got the RS for $15 the BH was $40 like new in the box with headphones. Thanks for sharing. BTW where do you take the trash you recover from the water? Ever find any tossed weapons?

Nice video. Glad you made it real and showed all the trash. Nails & bits cut off aluminum gutters & siding are my nemesis 😢 You must have good soil there, in my area of PA most modern clad coins are trashed by the soil. I want to pick up a detector for my 7.5 year old grandson. I’m leaning towards the Bounty Hunter JR. Simple controls and it really works. Other option is the BH JR TID, but it’s about another $40. I’m surprised you found those coins just out in the woods. The woods are such a large random place, you must have had a sense there was activity there. Thanks for sharing. Dave in Eastern PA.
