Chris here! not at all!! This is a floating floor, which means the cabinets would not be sitting on a fixed finish, which would not be a very sturdy install. The flooring manufacturer recommends not to install cabinets on it as well. It will all be covered by toekick so it won’t be visible, and it is the right way to do it with this floor :) Thanks for asking!! Any more construction questions I am happy to answer!

Thanks Trish!!! I would not use the plaster in a bathroom...but on a fireplace with just wiping it should be fine :) We will be sealing the fireplace and the hood fan when that is done to ensure they have a durable finish :) I hope you and baby are doing well!!!

@@DrapersDoingRenos thank you! We are doing well! I used limewash in the powder room and I love the look but I’m learning it’s not water resistant unfortunately. Would like to use plaster or limewash in the kitchen too on the range hood- think it would work if we seal it?!

Great eye!!! yes that is the thermostat, I think we are not planning to change it as they new owners may elect to use a wireless one, we don't want to assume and it is an easy change for a homeowner :)

Hi Cyndi, Chris here, The thermostat is on the list, Heather forgot she cut that Video part out….so much editing…..but I will be switching it out for a newer programmable thermostat :) Thanks for always watching and your keen eye!!
