I saw them at a local fair 12 years ago. I was stunned. It was one of the best rock performances I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot of them.

Robin Zanders bodyguard took me back stage and took my camera film, he said camera or film...? 😢 True story, This Show is Sick 🤢 in a Good Way, all original lineup on a very Good Night 🌉

This footage is amazing. It just confirms what I have loved about this group since the 70's. Robin's incredible voice, Rick and Tom strumming away and Bun E in the back pounding away like a maniac. I miss Bun E in their lineup. They still rock!

I got 'Kimono my house' when I was 16 and that was 45 years ago. Still listening to Sparks today. That's got to say something about the band.

Bun E. Carlos was relentless like a drumming machine and he looked like an Accountant which is funny. Neilson is funny with his crazy antics, too and he looks like Huntz Hall. Only Robin and Tom were good looking and Robin has that classic Rock voice!

Bought this new in 1971, and it’s is still one of my favorite listens! Side one is classic.

Is there an unedited version of this in the Slade archive? It's so obvious that Thanks for the Memory has a bass overdub, and it sounds like Bangin Man has a guitar dub as well - Slade were so ridiculously good live there was no need to fake it with studio tricks, especially for a radio broadcast.

This band just knows how to rock, Mott the Hoople was one of my favorite bands back during my military days.

I was there…..it was my second concert. Moon Martin and the Ravens backed them up…..amazing show.

At their absolute peak. Powerful. How I choose to remember my favorite band that is not The Beatles. Thanks CT for wonderful concert memories.

Saw SAHB twice at Victoria Theatre in London. Best gigs I have ever seen. Came out with my ears ringing and my heart singing, it was superb. We all knew Alex would die young, idols like that always do.

There's an element we are not seeing. There's another guitar or keyboard not seen, but heard. Check out clock strikes ten and match Rick's playing to the sound.

I’ve been to literally hundreds of concerts. Everyone from AC/DC to ZZ Top. Cheap Trick was by far THE LOUDEST out of all of them.

At the beginning, of course like every singer, you're gonna walk right up to the monitor and stick the mic in it. I hate singers that don't understand his equipment. The last thing you ever want to do is aim the microphone inches from your monitor thats cranked up so you can hear yourself. These are the things that keep me up at night.

Great gig. Like Aerosmith they were much better live than on their studio releases - Jack Douglas smothered their edge and grit for possible AM airplay.
