Mackinac Island and a Brutal Ice Bridge Crossing
It’s got a nice BRAPPPPP to it.
Why don't you let your balls drop and keep it pinned for more than a second.
Nothing like the sound of a triple!
On ice. Regular trail stud’s DONT WORK. Especially with a big heavy triple. I had 243 on my 900ZR and didn’t spin the track. I never got beat. But I never ran it professionally. Just my older sleds
8:06 good lane choice. That’s so important to do. I drag raced my dad’s 440Z back in 1976 to 81. We would have to race at least 80 times. Because we would race in stock B. A. Super Stock B and A. Then in modified. It was according to how many sleds were in each class. Then I raced his buddies 340Z. And my 634 Puma. We would do that every weekend. As I got older I wanted to party to much. It was the 70s ya know lol
If someone lives on Mackinac Island and wants to cross over on snowmobile in the winter, how do you get around once you get over to the mainland? Like if you had errands and appointments, do you have to rent a car?
Stop playing and ride it you pussy
I don't understand the 1-3sec of throttle. Am I supposed to be impressed? Entertained? Bored? Or just annoyed that you have a badass old ripper there that you are teasing with the throttle tickle? I'm hoping you are meaning to be annoying and don't actually think that is an impressive display. My grandmother has a broken wrist and hip but could still outperform that cute little display of whispy-ness. I'd love to see that sleds full potential with someone that left their purse in the truck riding it. Better yet someone who didn't let their wife nuter them. Get yourself a 440 brah!
Whispy
My late uncle passed his cat down to my cousin, we went back and forth. I have my '02XCR and those Cats are no joke. We were working in the shop on my JAG440LT low gear logger(47mph radar). A kid came to our shop talking trash claiming he beats 1000cc sleds all day with his new 850 Polaris. He came in a few times, finally he said I got 1G that my XCR and that Pussycat can't beat me down the lake. We accepted and told him next week. Soo we tore down both our sleds, changed the bearings, added new gaskets seals to both engines. My cousin did the carb and clutching on both. We met on this long smooth lake, took practice runs and adjusted the carbs. We ran 70/30 AVGAS/PREMIUM Took our marks, he had us on the holeshot, we caught up and started walking away, I was about 1/4 of a sled length behind my cousin.
What exhaust system is that?
She’s a thing of beauty like to see a four stroke out preform on the hard pack on a lake haha
That sled is phenomenal 👍👍
Snow blind lucky it wasn't night time
That's crazy one wrong turn your dead I rode in Canada in the 90s lake Huron with the trees at least you could see theme you guys are good riders
Snowmobiling it's not for everyone and every trip is an adventure. One reason we all ride with our gps's on memory mode
Nice T-Cat! My buddy had one piped with that knob up by the steering head that would adjust the limiter-strap while riding! I've ALWAYS wanted a set-up like that on my mtn sleds..from Wyoming USA 🇺🇸 👋🤠
I'd love to have that adjustable limiter strap set-up..from Wyoming USA 🇺🇸 🤠👋
King of the lake! But a I'll handling submarine in the mtns..lol but what a sound 🎶 🎵 to my ears 👂 👌..from Wyoming USA 🇺🇸 🤠
I have snapped my crank riding like you
Was he turning to the right hahaha lmao why? what did it do ?
That sure is a good place to let the Cats eat.
That green zr is dialed in & that tcat is a bad boy too
Second video i've watched of this guy. He must eat belts, every other day..just tools around, blipping the throttle every 5 seconds, and pansy-ass runs for <500'. WTF..give it, you can hit 100 mph almost anywhere on a T-Cat/ZRT triple....do it!
Because these sleds were built and set up for ice or grass drags and they only run 500 or 660 feet Depending on what class and event their at. Their tuned, clutched, geared for 500 or 660. A stock tcat would run these sleds down past 1000 ft I'd say clutched and geared for 500 ft
My friend has one just like that,it's the fastest stock sled around my area.
They both sound absolutely amazing
The 4-stroke sounds like shit
Is this dude 12?
Nice sound, great pulls!...........Sad, no top end or on the trigger more then 5 seconds, no line-ups. I could live all day on a space like that with my F7 and simply skip the trails for a while. But, it would be so much more fun if you had some friends to line up with, for me, solo is a bit boring... 😉.
That sound at cracked throttle!😍
It’s all how much a guy has for cash determines his hp and mph 😆
Bad unit for sure!!!! Sheesh!!!
Lake St Clair?
The amount of power that thing has
Never knew they made such a thing🤔
I wonder how many people died on the thunder cats?
That thing rips! Almost got my 1107 put back together. Hasn't ran in almost 15 years. Im excited for the triple symphony!
great..show it more..so we can all get banned by PETA or green heads
What the idling? Where is the full throttle mode?
I've owned 3 t cats in my life and loved every one of them.
I know this is an old video but wanted to chime in. I have a 2013 F1100 Turbo. From factory, the jackshaft flexes up to 180 thousandths of an inch and the bracket that holds the jackshaft bearing on the clutch side comes attached to the engine. Every time you let off the throttle, the belt takes the brunt of the force from over shifting and it heats up. Guys have spent thousands trying to fix belt blowing issues by installing new clutches, jackshafts, etc. If you want to be done blowing belts, especially if you have it tuned up (I have 240 horse tune, cold air intake, extended track, Bikeman Clutch kit), you'll have to replace a couple parts. The bracket that holds the jackshaft on the secondary side has to be replaced as well as the jackshaft. The new brace will stop the overheating on deceleration and the heavier jackshaft will keep your secondary from pulling out of parallel when you're accelerating. This should have been addressed right from factory and a couple engineers did in fact lose their jobs at Arctic Cat over this. They now work at Polaris. lol. Scott Taylor Engineering still makes these parts and he does them well. For the double approach fix, you're looking at just shy of $1000. That's a bit to spend but better than having a $5,000+ paperweight that you don't want to ride because it constantly blows $120+ belts.
Where was this video shot at? Sounds awesome!
nice!
That sled would honestly scare the shit out of me to hold it open. I got nervous topping my 600 out at 92mph and that took a bit. This fucker does that with the blip of the throttle. Badass!
What motor and what kind of pipes you running? Sounds beautiful
Hey Blake, I am an Upstater too and love your videos, I can say with 99.9% accuracy that he has a MBRP 3 into 1 can. I have a '00 T-cat with one and it sounds exactly the same...
The F-7 firecat guy says " Dang, one second I looking at him, and just like magic, he disappears " .
Put wings on this suckka and land midway to the next state over.
ok, so an .250 Elan , 1978 can do about 12 m.p.h on a good day. Then along comes this guy with a more modern sled, about 170 h.p blowing snowdust and stuff at others, passing them while busting full throttle burp gaps, cannot see the reasoning actually.
Only short burst of speed.
That’s a fast sled
Ridiculous. Pffft how ya supposed to enjoy that thing when the intake is constantly clogged with skooby-doo’s LOL
