Serbo-Croatian makes a distinction between three genders (masculine, feminine and neuter) seven cases (nominative, genitive, dative, accusative, vocative, locative, instrumental) and two numbers (singular and plural). Defintely not easier than Bulgarian.

There is only one cyrillic alphabet, the Bulgarian. The others just took it and made very little changes, some more some less. You can't take something, change it a little and call it your version when its another person or countries to begin with. What other slavs did is like installing personally made seats for a car and then claiming its your brand of car.

@@golyplot There is no Armenian "group" of languages (not counting dialects) but it is absolutely an Indo-European languages. So I thought your point was about the instances of Indo-European languages that use a definite article suffix. You definitely said, "The European languages that have a definite article suffix" and then you listed languages from across a range of Indo-European, not just languages with a smaller "family." So, yes, Armenian is definitely one of the Indo-European languages with a definite article suffix. Or were you speaking strictly geographically when you said "European"? If so, your response "Armenian is its own language" doesn't address that. You could have said, "Yes, but Armenia isn't in Europe." Which tells me that you really did mean "Indo-European," not just "European." Perhaps you didn't know Armenian was Indo-European? By the way, you mentioned Albanian, which is also "its own language," i.e., there is no Albanian "group" of langauges.

Turkish seems to be very influential, making it easier for Turkish speakers to pick up the language, a point that needs to be emphasized if the topic is the easiness of Bulgarian, and if so, for whom.
