Damn. I didn't study and failed Paper 2 as I didn't answer everything on paper 2 but I passed Paper 1 and SBA. I might get less than Grade 4 😢, that's not fair.

Guys so whay shes saying is that even if you get a 90% if majority of the csribbean get 100, you have a grade 2. If majority of the caribbean get around 60% highest, then a 61 is a grade 1. So...yea.

I got 19/20 on my SBA and fail the paper 2 completely (got abt 2 questions correct ) and did fairly okay on the paper 1 (meaning that I know I got some right answers) for math. This enough for even a grade 3?

Hasnt it changed for this year? And also, what I want to know is how they break down the grades or percentages for Paper 1 and 2 and the sba component. How do those play a part in my final grade? Is paper 2 really 50% of my final grade? And if so how do they use that. If I were to say get: Paper 1: 90% Paper 2: 85% And SBA: 88% What would my final grade be? How would they extract that? And how would it play a part with the rest of the Caribbean students also partaking in the exams? (That is if this hasn’t changed for this year) - What I meant by it changing is that they say this year is basically an experiment. Our results are now inly determined by ourselves individually. So it wouldn’t matter what my classmates got because it would no longer affect my grade. For example then marking our individual papers via their “Use of knowledge” and “Application” etc marking schemes.
