I like to think that this is due to fact that main villain was always shown to us from other side of a mirror. It's just simple words, only in reverse, like from the reflection of the mirror

Is dark magic related to animal or life magic?? Cause that's the pattern I've been seeing here and that I don't have netflix and only watch bits of here and there on RUclips, but Claudia's shape shifting magic is amazing I mean she got wings and the snake thing and that one time she turned binds into snakes too.

I have been rewatching the Dragon Prince recently and honestly, it is really hard for me to see either the humans or the elves as “right”! The humans have Dark Magic, which is insanely depraved but the elves also punished and shunned the entire race for the actions of a few, acted all righteous, some of them anyway, and didn’t even try to sympathize with the humans who had nothing and maybe even TRY to teach them Primal Magic. I really hope that Ehasz and the others fix this for season 4 and beyond. The series is still Phenomenal but this should be addressed next season because returning one baby dragon doesn’t just erase a millennium of prejudice and use of a depraved art!
