so glad to hear someone else talk about this show! i found it one night while scrolling tumblr and someone i follow that was live blogging the show had posted a screenshot of mr.lewd talk with no context and i Needed to know what was going on, looked up the show, saw Draluc and thought he looked so pathetic i needed to see what his deal was, very glad i found it by chance XD i didnt have too high hopes going in, with a lot of older comedy anime burning me with mean spirited jokes but im really glad they were pretty rare (the fatphobia in episode 6 was fucking awful though :[ ), then i had worries the fan service would get weird but they used it in a way that was actually fun! i really love this show now, it uses absurdity in such a fun way and i love how they play with supernatural tropes like you said! my favourite side characters are Kantaro and tsujigiri, their situation is so ridiculous and also weirdly sweet, but there are so many other great ones! this got long, to end this id like to state that i want to smush Draluc and Ronaldo's faces together like dolls.

I don't tend to leave comments on youtube videos but, i can feel the rage and anger behind your words even tho you don't raise your voice or anything because i'm on the same boat, i've been feeling that every day after getting my degree 3 years ago, which i wasted 6 years getting, and i haven't been able to find a job once after getting that fucking degree 3 years ago. Being promised success, being told you're extremely skilled then having to deal with this is insanity inducing, i'm sorry we as people have to deal with this, i hope we can all find a job someday.

Why is the audio so quiet?

I have cousins who are in a similar situation, the saddest part is seeing how much job hunting has consumed their life. They don’t talk about their hobbies anymore, they hardly talk at all. It’s debilitating to your self worth getting rejected that many times, and it doesn’t help that their parents can’t relate to their struggle. I won’t tell you the job search will get easier, but I will say, I’ve enjoyed watching your videos. Part of me wants to tell you to stop the job search and just completely throw yourself in this youtube project. I’m not sure how feasible that is for you, but your teachers were right about your talents. On a side note, I think a video on mortuary science would be pretty interesting.

I'm kinda in the same boat lol. Have a masters in International Relations and could not get anything, had to reskill into Data Science and I'm getting the degree soon. Was lucky since the country I was studying in had rather cheap tuition fees. Prospects are looking better with the new field but its still a rough market out there, its saturated in tech right now. Don't want to discourage you though since you did say you were looking to learn coding. Sometimes the switchup is needed

Lily would be unhappy with the attempted resurrection scene in Fullmetal Alchemist. Not Brotherhood, the original, because it manages to portray the event from the kids point of view instead of being all dark and gloomy from second 1. It was done that way to help sell the gut punch of the reaction failing horribly, but of course there's a massive sudden tonal shift and thus Lily would take offense to it.

ive watched the anime two times, once in dub and once in sub. honestly i think both of them have their own weaknesses and strengths. for one i think dub senshi is leagues better than sub senshi while i kinda cringe at dub kabru (knowing what happens in the manga i might have to switch to sub only for the next season)

Edit: It took a week but I finally finished reading the manga! Now I can watch the full video. Well I wanted to watch this video but I haven’t read the manga yet. While I mildly agree with Orchard that for SOME stories (i.e. poorly written ones that use shock value as its only draw), if you go in being spoiled then it’s not a good story, but that doesn’t apply to all stories, to give one example: mysteries. If i had gotten spoiled for Dr. Stone like i did for MHA and One Piece , I’d have been pissed, which is why i went and finished/caught up to the mangas so I didn’t have to wait for the anime to catch up so I didn’t have to avoid google, which has a lot of ads with pictures that are spoilers right when you open it up sometimes. I’ve had to mute manga and anime (and video games) despite loving the topic, because I have been spoiled too many times.

Since she complained that most of the Pokemon games had bad dialogue and lacked plot, despite skipping all the dialogue and in some games skipped full areas of the world where plot can be found… AND complained about the characters who were significant to said plot kept bothering her…. I wouldn’t take her plot criticism seriously. You can’t complain that a game has bad dialogue or no plot if you actively avoid engaging with it. Criticism of media based on her weird head cannons and assumptions while actively ignoring the story is her whole channel because she is a troll. That’s not even fully getting into how she blames the games for her constantly either losing constantly or winning too easily, because she refuses to catch diverse Pokemon that aren’t her favorites or grind them to at least be OP so the type balance or stats don’t matter as much… like if you go into every battle underpowered and try your best to skip every encounter with wild Pokemon or Pokemon trainers possible, and cheese one strategy for every fight that just turns into a battle of attrition. Of course she wasn’t having fun
