Riding the entire Skate 2 map in BMX Streets! [4K 60fps gameplay]
The skate and BMX gods have aligned. Trucks and cranks have put aside their differences. Boards and bikes are finally united. It's the entire Skate 2 map in BMX Streets! This new mod comes from the mysterious 'Sam' who appears to be putting out more Skate mods every week.
First in line for us is the GOAT: Skate 2 in its entirety. That's right, we've got Slappys, the Creature warehouse, downtown, the suburbs, the marina and even the Mega Ramp. We've got it all! Join me for the first part of many Skate 2 videos!

oh hell yeah. people are always porting the skate 3 map to other games but the skate 2 map was by far the best one. i gotta get this map immediately.

The big problem with these giant ported maps is there isn't a grind spline on everything and some of the stuff that has them are wonky.
Yeah, you’re right. I talked about that a bit in the video - none of the rails really work. Lots of crazy stuff happens, so you just have to enjoy it ☺️
What I dont like: Almost everything doesnt work good What I do like: Skate 2 map
Yeah, I would say a lot of it does work, but only really at a surface level. If you want to get technical then the map gets quite frustrating. But you’re right, Skate 2!
The first minute of this video showcases how badly EA dropped the ball by not including bikes in the original skate games. The transitions and parks look almost more fitting for BMX in some parts.

Also, regarding that shot: I put a light on the handlebars to illuminate the pipe and in the replay I realised how good it looked. So I started to experiment with putting the same light on the trike and ‘sending it down the pipe alone’ ☺️ It took quite a while to get that shot! Thanks again for the comment.
12:42 "Maybe we can go through the trees" *face plants into a thick branch* lol. So many funny moments and banter.. This map is incredible, and those trails are absolutely excellent and intricate. Really feels like riding through a natural forest. Thanks for the video editing tip. Will have to try that. I'm just f'ng winging it with editing, lol. Not sure exactly how the gnomes control the camera in between keys. Need to fool around with it.

I was going to ask how they got that underwater shot on the intro… then realised it’s a game! Looks Epic!
Hah, what a great comment. You know, I think it would have been easier in real life! It took so much work to get that shot right. The game doesn’t allow the camera to go underwater, so that was already difficult. Also, adding sound effects, light refraction and water dripping down the lens was more work than just shooting it in real life 😂

Hi, Jordan. Glad to help! No, you don’t need to be in the game. I just happened to be in there. You can add maps to the ‘maps’ folder any time (whether the game is running or not). Enjoy! Also, I’m releasing a new mod map video this evening. Be sure to check it out! 🙏🏻

Yeah, I totally agree. I’m so grateful that these extreme sports games are made, and I sometimes try to remember how absolutely exhausted the developers must be after so many years of grinding to get them out. @@unclesbones - It's awesome but the bunnyhop would be like 5 feet high w/ no tuck, just a straight stanced 60 inch bunnyhop.... There should be a mechanic where the longer you hold the higher you will hop so you can mini hops, like from the hanger to nose mani you was trying in the video. It would make stuff like that feel more real... Same goes for the spin mechanics, it could be a charge up before jumping, but then again I do like being able to bunnyhop backflip and stuff like that in game so maybe just keep it weird. LoL 😂👍
Hah, yeah the flip whip hop is always fun ☺️ I totally agree though, loading spins and long-holding for bigger hops seems like a good idea to implement. Let’s see what the dev comes up with.

@@unclesbones - Yeah I only know because I tried IRL but it didn't work out as well for me, the only way that would work is if you caught transition before the loop or you'd just slam into the bars and get hucked off the side.... 08:12 Maybe they should add a stamina ish jump recovery, aka.. When jumping on a something high, then need to like get himself up, a stamina bar on 0,7 like seconds ish like cannot jump jump and then jump same hight, would need to jump, then get on feet and jump to jump high again, or else it looks not natural like now.

@@unclesbones What if the big wouldnt work untill recovery was done maybe it could go to a , jumping off the bike or fall, it could even variet like 60% fall, maybe if bike more and more then less, somehow maybe fall just a 5% chance in the end but also depending , aahhh i could code game so detailed hahaha
