I’m super confused on the very first bracket. Any instructions on how to install that one?
just added them to my 94 F150. took a while sorting out all the bolts and washers. 1st side took some time. 2nd side took no time at all. thanx for video.
Badass
Did you have to swap the rear axle or was it just for gear ratio purposes?
It was for gear ratio !! To match the front gears.
@swidobros6437 thank you, just picked my donor up last weekend
Thanks for the video. How have they held up as far as rust on the chrome??
It’s going to pull the cab apart slowly you can not connect to the cab and frame they need to move
In the video It's connected directly to the frame. But thanks for watching!
No dust boot? I usually put a self tapper in the hole on the frame brackets to help it stay put! Gotta do my Bronco Monday!
Is this a necessity?
What about steering stabilizer? Did it come with one?
So nothing about trans? Crossmember? Transfer case? Driveshaft? Electrical connections?
I have a 01 21ft Chris craft with a 5.0 in it someone local is selling a new 5.7 marine ready engine complete wondering if it would drop right in and replace old one and if it would bolt up to the prop and such any info would be great
did you go with the manual transfer case or the push button one, and if you chose the push button anything needed to be done with the pcm?
Thanks for posting this.
They look pretty tight to the body in the video. Are they out far enough to comfortably get your foot on when getting in and out of the truck?
good job! I like your mini socket press idea. worked great
How much did the front axle Assembly and the transfer case run you?
I bought all the parts off a parts bronco because the matching gears. I think I was into the front, rear axles and transfer case 600 bucks
what brand those rims, I love them. I want like that on my 1992 flareside.
What mirrors you got on your flareside. I wanna covert the original memo morris to chrome tow mirrors
If you still have it, I would be very interested to purchase the trim piece from you that you removed from the truck! $
Good shit, brother.
nice job man, im fixing to do the same minus the 6 inch lift(for now) and i have a 5 speed. fortunately i have a car lift and a whole parts trucks ready.
Classic.
this is for sure a great channel and beautiful videos.... SUBBED and LIKED , a fellow creator.
Nice Truck
Did you use the cam that came with the 5.7?
No used the cam out of the 5.0 since it has less overlap
Stupid question. Is this doable with the 4.9?
Yes of course, what the hell does the engine have to do with a 4x4 conversion
F150 with the small block gae I've got the f250xlt with the 460 and 4x4
How did you get the 4x4 to work? Was it just locking the front hubs or did you instal a 4L4H shift knob? I want to do this to my 95 4.9L but not sure how it would work. Any advice?
Yes you have to install the friggin shifter for the 4x4 transfer case. If you are not knowledgeable in how the 4x4 works on these trucks, let someone else install it
Would I be able to put a 4WD 4in lift on and RWD?
Bad ass truck
Hey how does that lightning valence attach?
I used some stainless nuts bolts and washers. drilled holes in the bottom of the bumper
@@swidobros6437 thank you, didn't know if I need to drill or not as the plastic non lightning valence on there now has mounts on the back side of that bumper
I wonder, how will you setup the electronic buttons for 4x4 and low range??
There is no button, it's a manual operated transfer case for the 4x4.
So I need a 4x4 rear diff/axle in other for it? Or can I slip on front (4x4) axle and leave the 2wd rear and it should work?
If you can find a gear matching front axle. I just swapped the back out because I found the front and rear off the same truck. Made it easy
Sweet... I want to do the same with my 95 F150 Eddie Bauer shortbed 2wd...
Do IT!!
Just ruined ur vin # bye converting it..
who gives a f u k
I would love to have my old 91 F150 4x4 back. 300 CID inline 6. Thing could not be killed. Oh well couldn't get it to where i moved after I left Oregon.
make an ordinary truck look bad ass, your good guy
Did you ever get the tranny and tcase done?
Process just like i did with my 1980 f150. Used dana 44 front and 9in that was in truck. Also swapped out 351m and installed a 460. Rollerized the c6 that reduced parasitic losses by almost half. Will probly upgrade to d50 front axle and d60 rear in future to haul around my truck camper
is your truck still running ? any issues?
Nice truck what do you do with a spoiler if you want to sell it I want to buy
Thanks for the video! I ordered the these pins and bushing thinking I was going to take care of the sagging driver's door on my 1996 F150. I called a local muffler / brake shop that does minor repairs and for $85 they took care of it for me.
Can you show me how you removed the bushings?
Did you use same steering linkage? Can you?
yes
Way to make things look easy
Awesome bro! Good job man.
Looking good, planning on getting them on my bullnose later this video helped
Nice swap but I think I would have used Solid straight axle in front.
Prob didn't due to cost
Our trucks are very similar in terms of paint (both candy cane style colors). Both great looking on the sides, but clear coat faded on the hood. It drives me crazy sometimes but it also adds character.
When can i drop off my truck you sir lmfao. Great job, looks great!
Taking those granpa skirts off instantly gave you 5 HP hahahah
I have a 95 long bed six cynlinder two wheel. It is the 4.9 six cylinder. I would LOVE to convert to four wheel. Can you tell me, roughly, how much it cost you to make the conversion? And do you think it will be possible to make the conversion considering that my truck has a six cynlinder. I don’t want a lift on it. Just want to go to four wheel drive. Any advice you can give would be really helpful
I have the same truck, and I'm thinking about doing the same thing. I think it depends on where you live for the price (using junkyard/used parts). I might buy junker bronco as a donor truck for the project.
