In this video, I continue work on the rally car project after a bit of a hiatus. First, I show some of the new parts we’ve acquired, including Group 4-style Speedline wheels, DMACK tires, and a Ford 9-inch floater rear end with a limited-slip differential and 4.3 ratio gears. The main focus is cleaning, assembling, and troubleshooting the rear end while checking axle fitment and engagement.
Along the way, I encounter challenges, such as cleaning the dirty components, aligning the studs, and determining the correct axle lengths. I also discuss updates on the rally car itself, which is at the shop getting a roll cage installed and a custom suspension setup for the 1976 Toyota Celica.
