Loading Muscles for Optimal Function and Posture

This principle is crucial for daily activities and is especially important for people with sedentary jobs. We also demonstrate how this knowledge can be applied to improve sitting postures and alleviate stress from prolonged sitting.

Unleash Your Glute Power: Booty-Building Exercise Number One
I usually wear a large T-shirt, but bought 5 3x size at the craft store( about $4.50 each). A LOT easier to wear and work great as a sleep shirt, having to wear the sling at night. Damn Velcro can hurt bare skin....
Nice!
I have damaged vestibule nerve Which controls lower body balance Plus damaged right eye. Plus Other issues. From brain stem stroke.
Oh no. So sorry to hear this!
I broke my humerus so bad it ended up in my armpit. In 6 pieces, had surgery to remove the head and neck of humerus. I could've used this video. I'm having a reverse shoulder replacement in a few months so now I know how to do this. THANK YOU
You are welcome! Best of luck on your surgery!
@fitness4lifephysicaltherapy thanks again!!!

One person explaining while the other demonstrates was very helpful. Easy to understand. Thanks!

SO true! I bought an inexpensive under the desk/standing desk treadmill to use for walking backwards while I watch tv. It's worked out beautifully!
That is awesome!
Correcting with the feet forward will be enough?
Omg this clearly shows what may have been happening to my feet problems going up to the knee and hips… I review my walk and my feet are pointed out… and have caused all you mentioned!!!😮
My knees would not tolerate this.

Thanks for the info. I gained 7 lbs over the holidays but watching your video I probably need to loose more weight. Thank you.

Great!
I started paying attention to direction of my feed way back for other reasons and I can say that I can walk pretty much all day if need be. 5h straight easy, is that the reason I have no evidence for it but might
It all starts with proper mechanics!
What type of rotator cuff repair did you have? How bad did the pain get and when did it resolve? I am getting mine next week, any advice?
I had an arthroscopic repair with a bicep tenodesis which means they cut and reattached my bicep lower on my arm. Sleeping was the hardest part. You will be in a sling and possibly be sleeping in a recliner for awhile. Keep your arm supported from behind when sitting back. Pain wasn’t bad as long as you do what you are supposed to do. When in doubt, be conservative. Hope this helps. Good luck Arsenio. -- Mark
Wow, thank you for that info.
thanks for the help :)
This is excellent! Thank you!
I had never thought about this, a smart and practical video
Keep it up sir♥️♥️♥️♥️
Keep watching!
Thank you, great tips!! Much easier your way..!

You are welcome!
Hi, I have a disc bulge from L2 -L3-L4 and herniation in L5-S1. Can I use this?
You should always check with your doctor or physical therapist before beginning any exercise.
Thanks for the info ! I'm currently going through this process and sometimes it really can be a grind but I always remind myself to try and focus on correct gait as much as possible. Sometimes when my muscles tire out, body naturally tends to return to more comfortable/incorrect position since my quad and hamstring are not yet 100%, and it tends to compensate with other muscles, hence incorrect gait pattern. But constantly reminding yourself to use correct pattern is important to not develop other problems.
How to remove calcium deposit in leg because of head injury 6 years ago and find too painful at the end of everyday .🙏🙏
Does poor posture causes balance issues while walking?
Yes!
My back pain seems to be a result of walking for exercise. I usually walk for an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon each day. I walk in town which means I’m walking on concrete and/or asphalt. Could the impact from walking on those surfaces be what’s causing my back pain? Also, I’m VERY overweight for my frame which is why I do so much walking (and is probably contributing to my back pain) but it just doesn’t seem to help at all with my weight.
That could be or it could be your mechanics are wrong. Call our office to schedule an appointment with Mark and he can figure out what is going on!
Unfortunately the lower back tightness is to much I can't stand or walk normally
There are other things you can do. If you are local, we can help! Call us at 618-656-5433
thanks
