The groove does not change and mainly the bottom does not fall out during the guitar solo. We were at a live show at Orson's MKE and this trio sold us a CD.

The Byrds were one of the few rock groups from the 60's whose foundation was in folk music rather than in the blues like the Rolling Stones were. I loved the Byrds! I loved following their evolution as each of their albums came out (until they hit their country music phase--I don't particularly like country music). But with all the appreciation I had for them, I never experienced McGuinn as a great guitarist. I enjoyed his jangling Rickenbacker, for sure, but I was never impressed with it. After listening to this video, now I know: Roger McGuinn knows how to PLAY!

No stephen on bass?

Phenomenal artist…. However Marcus please ditch your sound man. I’ve seen a few of his live shows and the sound is HORRIBLE. Too loud, no dynamics, over exaggerated bass drum and bass, no separation between instruments and vocals. It sounds like mush and is at times a painful listen. Woof. He’s deserves so much better!

AJ has to be one of the best all around guitar players I've ever heard. What a talented guy. This version of the Hi-Jivers is my favorite. The just make perfect music. The drummer has such a great touch and the bass player is so good. Of course Ms. Dawna brings it all together with that powerful voice. Thanks Bluesmama

Chanced on this band looking for 'Sidewalk Blues', but keep coming back for the ensemble playing and sheer musicianship. English comedy band Bonzo Dog Band had a piece called 'Jazz - delicious hot, disgusting cold', parodying the mediocre trad bands of the 50s and 60s; generations later Tuba Skinny are for sure the hot version.
